Using the Touch Feature of the MovingStyle

The MovingStyle is Samsung’s innovative portable smart display that blends the convenience of a touchscreen interface with the power of a smart TV. With intuitive touch controls that allow users to interact with content directly on the screen, you can adjust settings, navigate menus, or streaming your favourite content through the touch of your hands. Press

Select or launch the item or app

Three-finger press

Long-press and drag

Move or delete app list or Edge Quick Settings items.

  NOTE:

  • Some apps or specific functions may not support touch interaction.
  • Touch control may not be available when connected to certain external devices or apps.
  • When sharing screens with mobile devices, touch functionality is supported only on Samsung Galaxy devices.
  • Performance may decrease if more than five simultaneous touches are applied.
  • The touch experience may differ from that of mobile devices.

To access, touch and hold at the edge of the screen, and slide toward the centre of the screen. This allows you to easily run the following features.

Edge Swip Gestures
1 Swipe from the left/right edge of the screen towards the centre: Returns to the previous step.
2 Swipe from the bottom edge of the screen towards the centre: Returns to the Home Screen.

NOTE:

  • Some apps or external devices may not support edge gestures.

With Virtual Remote, key functions can be accessed and controlled directly on the screen, allowing quick operation of desired features without using a physical remote.

Tap the screen once and press the four-sqaure icon icon on the edge to open the Virtual Remote.

The on-screen buttons are as follow from left to right, Back, Smart Hub, Vision AI Companion, Quick Panel, Volume, Channels, and Touch Input Lock

When using a program that does not support touch input, a four-way navigation button appears on the screen along with the other controls.

To access, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the menu. You will find shortcut menus that are set for quick use. To close the menu, tap any area outside the menu.

1 Status Bar: Check the current time, the network connection status, and the battery status.
2 Shortcut Menus: Provides a variety of setting menu items, including Network Settings, Bluetooth, Power Off Menu, Now brief, Battery Saving, Touch Guide, Quick Menu, All Settings, Brightness Optimisation, Mute.
3 Adjust the screen brightness and sound volume by dragging.

NOTE:

  • Available menus may vary depending on the software version.
  • The display brightness cannot be adjusted on the Smart Hub Home.

To access, press the power button on top of the display briefly to access the Power Off Menu.

Displaying the Power Off Menu - Power Off, Battery Rest Mode, Restart and Mobile Remote
1 Power Off: Turns off the Movingstyle.
2 Battery Rest Mode: Completely disconnects the battery's power supply to turn off the product, minimising battery drain.
3 Restart: Turns the MovingStyle off and then on again.
4 Mobile Remote: Scan the QR code on the screen, using your mobile device. Use the Mobile Remote features from the SmartThings app on your mobile device.

NOTE:

  • When In Battery Rest Mode, if the product is turned off, it can only be turned on by pressing the product's power button. Some features (such as Now Brief and Mobile Remote) are restricted.
  • To use the Mobile Remote features, sign in to the SmartThings app on your mobile device with the same Samsung account used on The MovingStyle.
