I had bought this product in July 2023, Delivered and installed in October 2023, since then all knobs have broken with just regular cleaning to take them off. Also i had kitchen aid before and it was one of the best cooktops i ever had, this one has lower BTU than advertised . Dont Buy this product, it should be priced under $1500. And Smart things feature is useless and you cant have any notifications if anyone turns it on.

Disappointed in Knob Quality Despite Great Appliance We had this appliance installed in January 2025 and, while the overall performance has been great, the quality of the knobs is extremely disappointing. Four out of the five knob bases have cracked in under 8 months of normal household use. Each replacement knob costs $152.60—meaning it would cost $776.70 plus tax to replace all five. That is simply unreasonable. For an appliance that cost over $3,000, one would expect higher quality materials and components. The knobs should be designed to last the life of the appliance, not made from fragile plastic that fails so quickly. This reflects very poorly on Samsung’s commitment to quality. I hope this issue is addressed, whether through improved design or better customer support for affected users. At this price point, this kind of failure is unacceptable.

We built a brand new home and chose Samsung for all our appliances, in black stainless steel. This cooktop is amazing - cooks in a fraction of time and very easy to use. I especially love the blue lights when the burner is lighting. Did I mention how BEAUTIFUL it looks in the kitchen!

I bought this cook top over a year ago and the cast iron griddle surface is developing bubbles on the surface and chipping off. Leaving indented circles of silver crumbling spots. I have contacted Samsung and talked to a supervisor Miguel Ramos 435666 and he say too bad it's out of warranty. This can not be the only griddle that is having this forging problem. I will not buy another Samsung product if this is the way you are treated. The cost of a new one on their site is $196+ tax

We all know we have a favorite burner, mine is the center one. I love cooking soups and sauces in the center. The setting is so accurate i have been able to control even the simmer. Sautéing meats has become a breeze. I now realize why i missed gas so much. Cooking is a pleasure. The rest of my family enjoys using the plate to make breakfast all day. Eggs and bacon anyone?! I would highly recommend this cooktop. Oh did I mention how easy it is to clean, bonus!

The cooktop is very attractive and looks great in the kitchen. It is very easy to clean since the grates come off. I also love the high BTU burner. It works great for doing a stir fry with a wok. I have also noticed that my pans heat much more evenly than my old gas cooktop. the griddle is also fantastic. The only thing I do not have much use for is the wifi connection. I do not see much purpose for the app, since it just shows you if the burner is on. Overall, I love this cooktop!

Absolutely love this cooktop. The 22K BTU dual burner is incredibly powerful and heats up fast, but it also simmers very smoothly for delicate cooking. The cast iron grates feel solid and premium, and the included griddle and wok grate are actually useful additions, not just gimmicks. The black stainless finish looks modern and gives the kitchen a high-end appearance. The illuminated blue knobs are one of my favorite features — they look great and are very practical because you can instantly tell when a burner is on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swapped this out with my old GE cook top and what an improvement! It's beautiful. The grills are heavy duty! It's easy to clean but there are many parts to clean. The 'smart' options is a little underwhelming, it just pretty much tells you it's on. It would be nice it if alerted you the stove was on after so many minutes. Or give you the option to turn off from your phone. I really enjoy the wok adapter, very innovative! The griddle is a great add on as well! Great for making pancakes. I also enjoy the extra flame, my old stovetop only had 4, this one has 5 and I don't feel like I scarified any space. All in all, I've very satisfied with this stove top. Can't wait to get the matching wall oven.

the silicone rubber feet on the bottom of the grates are glued on and in time fall off. causing them to rub metal to metal, scratching the stainless sufacee. it can also cause the grates to shift while movinge heavy pots on the surface. if multiple feet fall off adjacent grates and if a pot of hot oil shifts while moving another heavy pot it could cause oil to spill from the shift causing a fire. samsung doest sell these cheap silicone ruber feet, they want you to buy the whole new grate at over on hundered a peaice depending on the grate! i talked to them these rubber pieces can’t cost more than fifty cents ea max, but they dont sell them. if yours fell off call consumers reports or underwriters laberatories!

The blue led is really cool and people can't believe this connects to my phone and allows me to monitor the cooktop. I really like how big the grates are and how professional it looks and the griddle that comes with it is great for cooking breakfast fast, throw some pancakes or bacon on there and you have a winning breakfast. Having this cooktop is winning in life. I really enjoy cooking now and this just made my home value go up. I have used this cooktop and it cooks even every time and at faster speeds. The grates are well built as well as the burners this really does feel like a premium chef kitchen now.

i bought this cooktop because it can integrate with smartthings, but that only lasted for 9 months, then it stopped working. i tried several troubleshooting options but nothing worked. contacted samsung customer support and they have no idea what is smart connect and how to reset it let alone troubleshoot it. i am disappointed. otherwise the cooktop itself is good. but cleaning it is very difficult, the panel around the knobs are poorly designed that food and trash can get between the knobs and get into the circuit panel. it is super hard to clean that part.

Unit was part of the builder package when we bought the house in 2022. It is our first gas cooktop after years of electric ranges and what a difference. Gas allows so much better control and the variations of different outputs from the different size burners is amazing. The heavy grates are solid and keep pans above the flames. Taking the grates off for clean up is easy and I use the griddle all the time for pancakes and French toast. Only mistake I made was cleaning the stainless steel with some scratchy cleaning pad and left a few abrasive spots.

The gap between grate and from where flame coming is too much. Therefore the heat is spreading into sides and won’t reach to the vessels and longer forever to cook. It is also dangerous for anything sitting around the stove as the heat is spreading to the side. For example, my slow cooker was sitting beside the cook top and its knobs got broke from the heat coming through the sides. This is also not designed to accommodate vessels with round bottom. I see a picture in their website that a round vessel is sitting with an additional round grate. If we use that additional grate the gap will be even higher and flames and heat will be spreading to the sides. Another issues is that the grate is very very heavy, which make it difficult to remove and clean.

I'm so happy we got the Samsung 22K BTU dual power burner in stainless steel. It is beautiful and works well. Who knew that a cooktop could use blue tooth, but it's great for peace of mind when I'm away from home. The range came with a grill, which is super handy, and a wok holder, which I've never seen before with any other models. It makes cooking with my wok less wobbly and awesome. I love the blue lights that come on when the range is in use. Such a great idea and safety feature. I can tell if I left my range on from the other room just by looking for the light. Overall, this range is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to update their kitchen.

this is the worst experience. i ordered multiple home appliances (refrigerator, stove top, dishwasher, and double wall oven) and i've gotten a run around. they have given multiple delivery dates in which none of them were meet. i have made more the 23 calls to samsung customers service and they would alway confirm the day that was given to me. they would escalate the issue to headquarters and it would take 24-72 hours for someone to get back to me (which no one ever does) to address the issue. i had to call them to tell them to send me an email with the new date in which i wouldn't get until like a day or two before the delivery date. i'm so frustrated i can't move into my new home with appliances because i have a newborn daughter and i'm paying for both places.

i ordered the smart gas cooktop without realizing that the cooktop would not fit on our counter with the wi-fi module attached. thankfully, it is easily removed and we're not missing too much functionality without it. it would have been nice though if the wi-fi module could be installed on the rear, left side or right side of the cooktop as this would have allowed almost all customers to position the module where it would work best for their kitchen. beyond this relatively minor issue, we absolutely love the cooktop.

we were going back & forward between getting this model vs the 30" induction cooktop with the knob. glad we went with this model as now i can go back to singeing my chicken wings, utilize the griddle, all while utilizing several burners at one time. we had a regular electric cooktop that was approximately 10 years old & it suffered a major crack in the surface which left us to use a portable induction cooker's with x2 burner’s max. i love how quickly they cooked & almost bought one but the features with this gas cooktop outweighed the best feature (cooking faster) of the induction one. plus, the center burner on this cooktop can rival that of any induction cooktop imo. the only down fall is that i cannot pair this cooktop with the app. other than that, it's highly recommended!

loved this stove top to begin. unfortunately, the decals on the front identifying the brand and knob direction all fade away. we have followed all cleaning instructions....which by the way make this very difficult to clean! your customer service chat agent names kim actually told me to paint new letters on....really? she said this is cosmetic damage and not covered by samsung. not having proper id on the knobs makes this stove dangerous. huge problem and terrible support. so bummed.

Unit packed very well and customer service and shipping company were just great to work with on the delivery. I’d buy this unit over again with no hesitation despite it costs more than I wanted to spend. Cooktop was great. Knobs have become an issue ( 2 of 5 are fully broken and all are cracked/chipped) and top left burner wont turn on, and center burner only works with full power. Center burner must also be ignited by a lighter. Product was purchased in 2018. Practically not usable now. Also seems rather unsafe if you don't know how to use it correctly. I only came here to review as I am in the market for a new cooktop. Samsung is off my list. Samsung NA36K7750TG

I bought this a couple of months back and the centre burner is not working properly. The external ring goes off when I turn it down from high to midway to medium flame. So this main burner is not usuable at all and other burners or not high enough to fast cooking. Completely useless product. I called the customer service multiple times and they are not able to resolve it and not even replacing it. Its total pain and waste of time and money. Garbage.

The accessories which are the wok grate and griddle are cast iron and also easy to clean, the stainless steel finger resistance is a plus. The features are something unexpected the bluetooth auto connectivity connects with the hood and is located under the left knob to monitor and control the hood. The wi-fi smart connect allows you to monitor the operating status and power settings of the cooktop, both smart connect and auto connectivity can be accessed through the smartThings app through your phone. This cooktop is more efficient than my old cooktop, it boils water in no time and I am able to cook food a lot faster. The blue illuminating light gives an elegant finish to the cooktop and I have had multiple compliments.

Excellent product now that it's working correctly! I had a issue converting the nozzles from NG to LP because the included Nozzle Conversion Kit (DG69-00399B) had incorrect nozzle placements on the card. Additionally, the nozzles were supposed to be color coded, but they just had numbers engraved in the brass. It made for some interesting flame sizes! Anyway, once the technician sorted out the CORRECT nozzle placements, it works great!

The design is solid with the exception of the WiFi component, IF you have a down-draft vent hood behind your cooktop you will need to ensure there is enough room to install both due to spacing. The center burner with the wok grill is an excellent touch and works really well. The burner temperature settings take a bit to adjust to, but the fact that the dials illuminate is a great safety feature.

We bought this cooktop more than 2 yrs ago, we love it. We have had other brands before but this one has been our favorite. It's simple, it's elegant, works great... what more could you want. We have all samsung appliances now in our home (2 fridges, double wall oven, hood fan, 2 washers and dryers, dishwasher, 4 TVs). That they all integrate with our home automation is the best to understand when cycles are complete or food is done.

We replaced another cooktop that claimed 19,000 BTUs on its main burner and it would take up to 45 minutes for a large pot of water to boil. This 21,000 BTU burner just brought a very large stock pot with two chickens (still slightly frozen) to boil in 17 minutes! I did have to adjust small burner down a bit because it was too much heat for simmering purposes.

The stainless steel on this stovetop is a joke! It stains so so easily and the finish comes right off !!! I've had to replace this stove top 4x in 3 years!! Spots and more spots of finish coming right off . My poor cleaning people always using some product that takes the finish right off! Its awful!! Don't use anything on this stovetop except stainless steel cleaner and a microfiber towel! It scratches extremely easily too!!!

This is my first 5 burner and it looks very modern and professional looking, has 3 removable grates which are heavy and well made, very durable, makes cleaning easy. I really like that the knobs have a blue illuminating light when you turn the burner on and gives an elegant look to the cooktop. The middle burner is large and puts out a hot high flame which is very nice to have for larger pots and pans and heats up well, water is boiling in no time. Also has Wi-Fi smart connect that allows you to monitor the status of the cooktop, this is done through the SmartThings app through your phone. Lastly, it come with a very nice, heavy, cast iron griddle that is perfect for pancakes, eggs, bacon. I would recommend this cooktop to anyone looking for a 5 burner.

I wanted to give this a 5 star. But the most frustrating part is that I had to remove the WiFi module in order to install it. My cooktop area is right up against the backsplash. Even if I cut into the backsplash there still isn't enough room. I was looking forward to the WiFi feature. I'm concerned that this also disabled the bluetooth module as I want to buy the vent hood to go with it. Why put the WiFi module in the back? it would have made perfect sense to put it in the control knob area. worst case on the side. The back is probably the worst position for this. It would be nice if a retrofit module was made available to put into the control knob area, I'd buy it. The heating is awesome. Major upgrade from my last one. Everything in my house is smart and is integrated into Home Assistant and Google Home. It would have been nice to setup notifications if I left the stove on.

Requested a service call because the surface of the HEAVY cast iron grill IS NOT a flat plane and a pan with a flat bottom rocks noisily (one of the reasons I was replacing my previous cook-top). The service tech basically shrugged it off and said that's the way their made. Then, there's the center burner which apparently cant be set to ignite properly. These are two features that should not be defective.

I love the ease of cleaning it, there's no top to flip up and crazy crevices that hold food and grease like my old one. The next feature I love the most is having different sized burners. I find this is very useful and I use them according to pot/skillet size I'm using and what type of dish. Besides the outstanding performance, it is beautiful and accents my home very well. The only change I would make is in starting flame sizes. This is the first stove I have seen that starts in the high position when starting ignition. It took some time getting use to and does not take away from the performance at all. The blue led around the knobs is a nice accent against the stainless steel. Currently I have not been able to use the wifi function, for some reason my internet service provider system flags it as a malicious program.

Had this cooktop for about 3 years now. Love the cooktop. Poor knob design. Underneath the knobs is a clear plastic protector over time will crack and break due to heat. The knob stems are plastic which overtime will break and make the cooktop useless. Thankfully I bought the warranty and Samsung replaced them for free but I noticed the stems of the new knobs starting to crack.

I can cook the meat and veggie with the low heat until they're well-done, then turn the fire to high after adding the rice. The fire is high enough to make the rice dry, the rice plate is as good as from the restaurant. The shelter-in-place order is still out there. Our family can not go to the Korean restaurant since then. But now we can have Korea BBQ with the Gas Cooktop by using the griddle. It's full of fun to have a meal at home. The fingerprint-resistant black stainless steel is easy to wipe clean after the cooking, no hassle at all. The most surprising features to me are the 'Wi-Fi connectivity' and 'Bluetooth Connected', I can monitor the burner whether it is on or off remotely through the SmartThings app on my Samsung smartphone. Let me feel like a tech-savvy chef.

Installed this 2 weeks ago and love it. Easy to install. Greats are extremely heavy duty and really enhance the look. Dials have a slight glow in the dark and a bright glow when turned on. There will be no more leaving a low burner on with the light indicator around the knob. WiFi also let's you know if a burner is own. This is an attractive, well built product.

Works well but very quickly looks used and ugly. The fake finish on the front panel and all lettering quickly fall away...even with a sponge and water. i have tried repeatedly to ask for Samsung assistance and get no where. I am willing to pay for a new panel if they have fixed the issue, but again, nothing from Samsung.

The grates are big and sturdy, the burners light the first time and cooing on it is a joy again. The burners provide even heat which I have never been able to get until this cooktop. While the wireless feature is nice there's room for improvement. Smartthings always shows it as on even when off. Other than that this cooktop can't be beat. I love having the big 36 inch size and having the center burner provided wok grate is awesome for when I cook stir fry. I don't know how I did that without this before. The griddle was a nice addition as well especially for the breakfast I cook every weekend. While I don't have a Samsung hood, as they don't provide an island hood at this time, having the ability to connect via Bluetooth to turn it on and off I can see being super helpful. Overall this is the best cooktop I've had in a really long time and highly recommend it to anyone looking to replace their current gas cooktop.

I have had this cooktop for 4 years, and regardless of the cost I am going to replace it. The heat is uneven. It is terrible to clean. The grates are heavy, the stainless steel is miserable to clean. The gas burners fall off. The control knobs are miserable to clean too. I am so disappointed with it.

my husband is a samsung person and he insisted on buying a samsung cook top and this had the blue tooth feature where he could control from his phone. we our kitchen renovated and it's only been 6 mth most of using and there is rust on the grills. very disappointed. would not recommend this.

Have been enjoying the cook top for 3 months now. We replaced an aging gas cook top and have been delighted with the features and the performance. The simmer is truly simmer and the high heat really is high. The accessories work like they are supposed to work. It is a delight to use.

LOVE IT!! Replaced a 20 year old Thermador with the extra low flame on/off feature. Should have replaced it years ago, this 36" with 22K burner is a home cooks dream! Love the cast iron griddle accessory and low burner for simmering that doesn't click on/off. Well done Samsung.

beautiful black stainless steel very powerful so when using 4 burners the over the cooktop microwave blows the burner and distributes fire or blows it out completely. the cooktop grates are stained with oil and grease. just can't get the clean. center burner stopped working.

One of my clients has this specific stove top and we had to replace it twice do to the paint not standing any cleaners no matter what kind. On the second occasion I did a research (thank God) and noticed how many customers have the same complaint so I made sure to bring this up to my customers and we decided to completely change the make and model to a real stove maker that makes products that can stand and are made for real cooking. And you can use cleaning product that can get rid of the grease from cooking right! And not only water if you want to keep the paint/color on it. In my profecional experience never seen this in any other stove makers only samsungs. Thanks to this now Im paying a bigger insurance premium. Thanks Samsung for that. Samsung Its only good for phones but they have no business making appliances

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is by far the nicest cooktop I have ever had. It looks perfect with my granite and cabinets and the style is modern/sleek. The knobs are super-easy to use and help you quickly light the appliance. I like that they change color when the appliance is on so I know that gas is coming out of the line. The middle burner puts out a very hot and high flame. The other day I needed to boil a small pot (about 2 cups) of water and it came to a boil in about 3-4 minutes. I personally don't like to cook on the middle burner but use it to starts boiling pots of water and move them to a side burner. I can't wait to purchase a wok and be able to cook stir-fry with the accompanying attachment for the middle burner. The grates are easy to remove which makes cleaning simpler. The surface is easy to wipe down and clean. I also like that the cooktop connects to my SmartThings app. It was very easy to connect. And I can look on there to see if a burner is on or off. Because ours is gas, you can't turn it off or on with the app.

It looks good but quality is very poor. Do not go on look. I just bought it 2 years ago and all knobs are broke and to replace the knob will cost you almost brand new cooktop. Plus they say smart connectivity but it didn't connect though bluetooth.

The cooktop itself is amazing. It is the knobs that are lacking. During the first year, a knob broke which was replaced. Today, another one is broken. The price to purchase the knobs is almost $200, which is beyond ridiculous!

Let me start by saying I was terrified buying this cooktop as a lot of the reviews are mixed. Some people say the burners get really hot and smoke and the finish is “weird” and bubbles when attempted to clean it.. I think these people did not read the guidelines and instructions on how to clean it by Samsung.. I previously had a Electrolux cooktop in stainless that was so badly scratched and was seriously at the end of its life. I went ahead and bought it and have used it every night for the past month now. It’s gorgeous! The LED lights are a nice touch and the wok insert is fabulous! I am happy to report I haven’t had any trouble cleaning it! A little soap and water everything comes off with ease. The burner handles do get warm but I haven’t seen “smoking” or so hot I can’t touch it. I didn’t realize what I was missing my food cooks so much more consistent and everything heats up super fast!! I love this cook top! And it looks so good in my kitchen ☺️ very happy with my purchase. If your on the fence or been lead astray by other reviews I would advise to go for it!!

30 days after the warranty expired a burner complexly died. Repair costs are about 40% of the original cost. ALso, the knobs on this thing are trash. They broke almost immediately.
