Racks rusted out in less than two years. Wrecked all my dishes, rust stains on plates. Cannot use the dishwasher anymore. New bottom rack through their parts department was over $280. They would not replace.

I have this product which is a 2023 model. The unit has stopped working in 2025. This is by far most unreliable product i have ever seen. All the service representative is asking for $200 diagnostic fees. To my surprise they have recommended me not even try to repair as there might be more issues to fix that might not worth the trouble. I just cant how a dishwasher can stop working within 2 years. Samsung is by far the worst company for appliances. I would never recommend anyone to purchase there product. 1 year warranty on this is way too short if that product has issues within 2 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using it for about a week and can say that the unit runs very quietly. It takes about 90mins for the normal wash and opens upon completion. I love the too third rack as it’s convenient to put baby straws and utensils on top. So far it has been effective in cleaning everything well except for one smoothie cup that I didn’t rinse out and had dried caked on liquid inside. Apart from that it works great. I don’t love the bottom black open panel as it could look a bit more concealed covering the screws but I guess it’s fine since I don’t normally see it. This particular model doesn’t have wifi functionality but works great with touch buttons and easy user face.

The third rack for flat items, is extremely useful. The middle rack is nicely engineered so that a variety of items can fit. Te bottom rack has enough room for large pots and two meals' worth of plates, dishes and utensils. I am extreme;y happy with the fingerprint resistent stainless steel finish and the door edge controls are easy to use. I would say that this is the most attractive, functional, and user friendly appliance I have ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This, so far, is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. It is so quiet, sometimes I wonder if it is on. The sanitizing feature is great. My dishes always come out clean and mostly dry. There are occasions where there is some moisture left, but too little to fault the overall value of this fine machine. I absolutely love the top tray feature for silverware. The overall capacity of this unit is amazing. I easily fit my pots and pans in it. The controls are easy to use and hidden from view on the top edge of the door. The exterior looks great and seems to hold well to the resistance of fingerprints. I am very glad I bought this model and brand. I also bought the Samsung stove. But that review is for another day. 😀

However, because the dishwasher is an 'efficient' dishwasher, it takes much longer than expected to run. I'm still learning how to load the washer. Items in the very top 3rd rack do not seem to get as clean as items in the other areas. The dishwasher is somewhat quiet. The items are dry when complete and the cups/glasses do not have water on the top when the cycle finishes. The door is resistant to fingerprints. My only real issue is that there have been times when I closed the door to the washer and 'thought' it had started running but it had not. I had to learn to listen for the water running to know that the process had started.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with this Dishwasher. Very impressed about how much we can get into it. We have three dogs and it hides the prints that the dogs leave behind very well. I find that I don't have to clean it near as often as the old machine because there's hardly any fingerprints left on the finish. As far as noise, it's so quiet I hardly know that it's even running. If I'm disappointed about anything, it's the lower racks. Uh, the angle that they're at makes it hard to get the dishes in the way I'd like to, but I'm still very happy with the machine. Overall, I'm very happy with Samsung's technology. I have gotten a lot of their products over the years. I prefer purchasing directly from, uh, the company itself.

So why in the world does a dishwasher not come with the electrical cord? I get maybe not including the hose or something like that, but no electrical cord? Makes absolutely no sense. I just bought this dishwasher and didn't include the installation because I thought I could do it myself. Lo and behold, there's no electrical cord and a bunch of wire sticking out and no water hose so I have to buy all of that stuff and I am not missing with wires and electrical stuff. So now I have to wait to find somebody who can install it. Pretty ridiculous. All to make extra money.

More importantly it does a fantastic job cleaning dishes. Some of the most notable things I’m pleased with are how quietly it runs, how clean the dishes are, and how dry the dishes are. I also really appreciate the adjustable upper rack that can be used for flatware that does not fit or might fall through the traditional cutlery rack. The auto release dry feature is the feature I didn’t know I needed, but I think is pretty fantastic. When the dishwasher is done cycling it pops open. Not only does this help ensure the dishes are fully dry, but it’s a great visual reminder that the dishes are clean and should be put away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used KitchenAid, Bosch, GE dishwashers before and, hands down, this Samsung one is arguably the best one at a great price. Cleaning is excellent, from plates to pots, everything gets perfectly clean. At the beginning, rack system could be a bit challenging, but once you use it for a few times, you'll see that makes perfect sense and maximizes every inch. It is absolutely whisper quiet, to the point that you forget dishes are being washed. I particularly like the third tray that lets me wash all types of oddly shaped items. The corollary of a great product is appearance. It is absolutely beautiful and it will blend seamlessly with any cabinetry, countertop and any other appliances. Unquestionably the perfect dishwasher!

I love the simplicity of it's functions. It is easy to use and is super quiet! I can't believe the difference from my old dishwasher. It is the quietest dishwasher I’ve never heard! (Pun intended) seriously, it is very quiet. I love the efficiency of the wash as well. Even with rinsing dishes sometimes my old dishwasher would require 2 washings. Not this one! This washer cleans and sterilizes a full load in one shot! It’s extremely easy to use and it looks great as well. The dry cycle is second to none. It’s so nice actually having dry dishes when the cycle is complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the main reasons I decided to upgrade is due to old dishwasher not completely washing the dishes clean and leaves too much water on top of the dishes. The new dishwasher perfectly fits in the space and is way quiet compared to the old one. It even washes the heavy greasy dishes perfectly. Maintenance is easy as any food sediments can easily be removed by removing the filter and cleaning it. As the top rack is adjustable, big dishes can easily be loaded in the bottom rack. And the 3rd rack for utensils is very helpful

Detergent dispenser can be difficult to latch and it sticks out and will catch on rack when trying to close door. If not carefull it might off. Back lighting on controls is poor and can be difficult to read. 3rd rack is ok, but can only put small utensils that don't stick up very far. The unit cleans well and is very quite, but I t seems like corners were cut or were not well thought out. All the units in my kitchen suit have similar issues.

I bought this dishwasher a year ago. A week before my warranty was up the latch broke and it won’t close. That same week my dad passed unexpectedly. I reached out to schedule service assuming I was covered. I found out it expired the week before. Sorry planning a funeral cost me the week to get it covered. Samsung would not do ANYTHING! I will never buy another product from them based on a product breaking within a year and a company that won’t stand behind it!!! It’s not a company you want to do business with.

The dishwasher has been great. We use it 3-4 times a week and it consistently performs well. It’s quiet, cleans very well and the dishes come out dry with no water left sitting like our old dishwasher. One of my favorite features is the auto-door open at the end of the cycle which lets you know it’s ready to be emptied. The only minor drawback is the top rack. While it’s great for utensils and smaller items, it does reduce the vertical space in the lower racks compared to our old dishwasher. We ended up having to switch to slightly smaller plates to accommodate the height but for us, the added functionality of the third rack made it worth the trade-off.

I've had this dishwasher for 2 years and have had nothing but problems. The soap dish won't stay closed and now the delay start won't turn off. I opened the dishwasher this morning and the dishes were still dirty after it ran an entire cycle. I've tried all of the "solutions" to these issues to no avail.

I have had this for a couple months.. The bottom rack is the worst design! Can’t fit that many dishes. If I put the dishes in the slots they do not come clean as they are too close together. I am running the dishwasher more often as I have to spread the dishes out and bowls take up more room as compared to my last dishwasher with the normal rack. I would have have returned but it was already installed before I noticed. I would love to be able to purchase a “NORMAL” rack

No damage during delivery and they hauled away the old one as promised. We installed it ourselves that evening which took about 30 minutes or so. The capacity is a bit smaller than the old dishwasher and we do find ourselves running it more than before, but not a big issue. I absolutely LOVE the auto-release function, such a game changer. This feature really aids with drying the dishes to completion. This may be a minor thing for some, but the fingerprint resistant stainless steel has reduced my OCD-induced anxiety. Honestly, it seems pretty smudge resistant and I'm very thankful for that. There's been no technical issues and has been running pretty smoothly so far. I'm very happy with the product.

Unfortunately May 2024 I bought 6 Samsung appliances. [Dishwasher] DW80CG4051SRAA The dishwasher smelled badly for the first 2 months. It doesn’t completely handle food left on dishes, so rinse before inserting. And it definitely can’t handle the horrible hard water I have. I've had to clean hard water marks from inside the appliance and there are scratches from a simple sponge. But good news, it's super quiet!

We recently moved and wanted a dishwasher just like the old we left in the previous house. Of course, that model wasn't available anymore, so we decided on this one. It's OK, but I still prefer the previous model. One of the features I knew I wanted was the third rack, but the third rack on this one is much smaller and doesn't fit as many utensils. Also, the previous model had a timer on it where you could see how much time was left in the cycle. This one does not, so it's a guessing game. Also, after it has been running for a while, the "Express 60" button starts flashing and I'm not quite sure what that means. (I actually came to this site because there wasn't anything in the manual that came with the dishwasher to explain this.) Although there are some things about this dishwasher that I do not care for, it does do a good job on the dishes and everything is dry when it is finished. That's nice.

I bought a house a year ago that came with this dishwasher, has an April 2024 date on it, the racks are terrible, it doesn't fit dishes, already showing a decade of wear, and today the plastic threaded feet stripped, so the thing tilts front left, and spilled out a ton of water since it broke during a cycle. The only option I have now is to shim it up! Worst dishwasher I have ever owned

I purchased a Samsung because of the quality of the other Samsung products I own. This was a big mistake. A year and 2 weeks after purchase, the door latch failed and the part is nowhere to be found. The repairman who came to check it out can't find it, either. Cheap plastic part is preventing me from using my expensive (compared to others).dishwasher.

There is no need to rinse the dishes before loading. It is quiet too. The stainless steel finish matches the finish of my other stainless steel finish appliances. Operating the dishwasher is very simple and it is easy to change the settings. The third rack allows me to put jar caps, measuring cups and spoons and tools where they take up less space. When the Samsung dishwasher finishes the door opens which is helpful because it lets the steam out and it is obvious it is finished. The dishes come out totally clean without any prewashing. The fingerprint resistance surface keeps the dishwasher front very clean and looking great. The capability of scheduling the dishwasher start time is very helpful when you want to run the dishwasher after the wahing machine or after you finish eating.

Very quiet and does the job as long as your dishes are only children sized. Put a standard size dinner plate in the bottom rack and the top rack has to be at the highest setting in order for the plates not to be hit by the spinning wash arm. The top rack then becomes all but unusable except for short glasses or oversized utensils. What a waste!

Bought this dishwasher one month ago, and it came missing the bottom kick plate. Purchased through Best Buy who is blaming Samsung that it got missed in the packaging at the factory. I was so excited to finally get one and once this dishwasher was installed, we used it that night. It is extremely quiet, and you can barely tell that it is running. The door auto releases when it is done running. It is stainless steel and finger print resistant; it is very easy to clean. It has a third rack that is perfect for utensils or items that might easily drop through the other racks. It doesn't give much clearance, but it is perfect for what I have been using it for. It has been cleaning all my dishes perfectly and I'm not having any spots. I've been really happy with its performance. My only complaint is some of my glass 'Tupperware' does not sit very well in it so I can't put a lot of it in there together, but I am running it every other day, so I don't have any issues with space at all. After hearing that using the dishwasher actually saves water as opposed to washing dishes by hand, I have been loading up the dishwasher!
