DESIGNED to fail. I thought the wheel bearings failed but they didn't samsung don't even use wheel bearings. The whole machien is designed so the MOST COMMON FAILURE requires dissaembling almost every single screw ion the whole unit because they installed a plate to stop the spanner. THE WORST PIECE OF JUNK EVER. I have all samsung appliance and fix all of them every week. Fridge .. breaks... Dryer .. .breaks.. Washer.. breaks... Dishwasher.. breaks... ALL DELIBRATE DEASIGN FLAWS TO GET YOU TO PAY. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG! The only reason they get away with selling these is nobody gets together and lawyers up.

This is the first dryer I have ever had where the dryer is finished before the next load of laundry is washed. My clothes come out wrinkle free and dry. No need to check the load to make sure it doesn’t need more time. We chose to stack our set and it was a breeze to do. The dryer inside is so big is fits a king size comforter with ease. I also love how the dryer lets me know it’s complete by a cute little tune and not the loud buzzer with my old one. No more getting scared to death by a loud buzzing.

It works pretty well but I haven't figured out the right settings to dry my clothes quickly and fully without using high heat, or maybe it's just not possible. I have to run it multiple cycles to get clothes dry and I didn't have to do this with my last dryer. I Iike that it has so many options though. I like that there's an alert when it's done. Capacity is good and it's pretty quiet, which is nice. Other than not having a full knowledge of all the settings, my only complaint is that the lint trap is difficult to open to clean it out. I have four cats so I need to clean it regularly, which is a little bit of a hassle.

When I set the timer to dry clothes it will run it’s time and finish when it’s supposed to or even faster. The dryer is easy to operate plus the filter is easy to come out and clean all the lint. This device is also big in size to load after the washer and there is no problem when finished drying. When the clothes are finished drying, they come out with no wrinkles. The Samsung dryer has a knob to choose the different drying cycles and a digital display. I highly recommend the dryer to other customers that want to purchase a great quality product.

However, I didn’t want sacrifice capacity, features or performance by getting a compact dryer. The Samsung dryer turned out to be the perfect choice, it’s 7.5 cubic feet capacity and design provide full size power in a compact stackable footprint. It has loads of pre-programmed settings and features that make it simple to use and tailor to your needs. The dryer runs super quietly and efficiently, making doing laundry a pleasure. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this from Trail Appliances (but posting here so potential buyers can be advised). Then after 14 months, the spin cycle was very loud. I called Samsung and they will not cover this since they only cover 12 months warranty. I had a repair person come and quote to repair this will be over $1,000 after tax! Problem was bent drum shaft and worn out bearing. Apparently just the bearings cannot be replaced and the full drum with bearing assembly must be purchased. This is a huge labour undertaking. I am so disappointed. Repair quote was so high, the technician said not worth it to fix, just buy a new one and consider LG instead. I already contacted Samsung twice with no help. Will try again. Maybe 3rd time's a charm? I also bought the matching dryer (DVE45T6005W) and after 15 months, there was a squeaking noise. The repair was only $262.50 so better than buying a new one. But still, who wants to spend this money on a repair on a dryer that is only 15 months old? Do not buy this washer and dryer model set.

This dryer is by the best dryer I have encountered, the multi settings that are available for this dryers provides a laundry experience unmatched, there are some great settings on the dryer that allows for a drying experience that's unmatched, I currently enjoy the wrinkle prevention feature on the dryer that eliminates the iron when getting my clothes out of the dryer. The best setting on the dryer is the time dry which gives me more range and freedom to dry my clothes without having to monitor closely, I know that my clothes are dry in the right time and temperature with the timed dryer setting!!!

It is such a unreliable, poor quality dryer that I bought it 12.5 months ago. We did not use it until 2 months ago, so basically 2 months of its life. It turns on but it does not spin anymore after loud noise. I called Samsung customer service but they do are not helpful. Now, we are left with this terrible defective product that needs repair! I will not recommend buying this dryer to anyone due to poor customer service and 2 month dryer life.

The controls are very easy to follow, led panel let's you know the remaining time. You can dry a large capacity all at once, cutting down on time. I got the stacking kit, which saves space. Kit was easily installed. I love the blue LED lighting inside the dryer! Easy to see! I like the looks of the sleek design! I highly recommended. UPDATE: after months of using this dryer, I still Love it! The only thing that I would change is the dryer lint catcher. The plastic lint catcher does not seal completely allowing dryer sheets to escape into the vent.

I did have to have it serviced within the first 100 days, one of the relays was stuck in the open position on the motherboard. The dryer would act like it was going to start but wouldn't fully start, it's just it kick started and did nothing. It worked a few times after unplugging and plugging back in before we were able to have a Samsung tech come out. Honestly very easy process, tech was great and got us taking care of. This is why it's a 4 star rating vs 5 star. No one wants to file a warranty claim after dropping cash like this on appliances. Zero hassle claim which was nice. Everything thing was covered under the first year warranty.

The light inside the dryer is bright so you are able to see good. It drys clothes super fast and efficiently. You have many different options to choose for what you need to be dried. When i am dryi g my comforter and sheets they come out completely dry so i dont have to dry them again like i did with my old dryer. The noise level of this dryer is so quiet sometimes you dont even know its running. This Samsung dryer is a gem and you will love it as much as i do.

My favorite preset settings are these sanitize and the air fluff!! My towels actually come out feeling light and airy, almost like hotel quality. With having a large family of 7 I can quickly dry at the minimum four and five loads of clothes in no time. I would definitely recommend this trailer to anyone on the market that’s looking for something compact, efficient and well designed. It is very user-friendly and I have even showed my 10-year-old how to wash and dry clothes. And I think he loves it as much as I do! Thank you Samsung for making such amazing products!

I bought a Samsung dryer, and after just 3 years of use, the electric panel is already broken. First, Samsung support told me the part I need is discontinued, meaning I’d have to throw away a machine that cost almost $1000 after only 3 years! They later said the panel can be replaced, but the repair would cost $300, and the part is delayed for 4-6 weeks. So not only am I paying 1/3 of the price of a new dryer for a repair, I’m also left without a dryer for weeks. The technician confirmed the problem wasn’t caused by how I used it — it’s just a poorly made machine. This is a major scam. You pay for a product that doesn’t even last 5 years without breaking down and needing expensive repairs. And to top it all off, Samsung’s customer service is AWFUL. I had to call several times, they promised to call back but never did. It’s been a nightmare dealing with them. I’m incredibly disappointed and feel scammed. I will NEVER buy a Samsung product again and strongly advise everyone else to avoid them as well!

this is the most annoying dryer ever. every adjustment is accompanied by loud sounds. the worst is the laundry done sound. that song is easily 30 seconds long. there is no option to turn it off or lower the volume. it's pure torture. i'm also not happy how it dries. laundry get's bundled up (sheets) and part of it may still be moist, thought it stopped and sensed all is dry. i also don't like that if you changed your mind about an option, like you wanted wrinkle prevent and forgot to push that button, you have to turn the unit off and then on again and turn the dial to the program you want, first. but particularly the sound makes me think twice to ever buy samsung again. what were they thinking?

Lifelong Samsung user BUT the 7.5 cu. ft. Electric Dryer has just about gotten on my last nerve. From day one when the dryer tumbles it hits the outside of the dryer metal part making a thumping noise. It’s super annoying and not the least but quiet. You can actually see and feel it hit the sides as it’s tumbling. Unacceptable for the amount of money things costs these days. I’ve googled other reviews and turns out I’m not alone with this problem. Sounds like a defect and should not be sold in this condition. If your looking for a quiet tumble dryer this is NOT a the best choice,

I like the way the dial and buttons are setup, simplistic and easy to read. The built in setting are good, all of them can be customized if needed to suit one's specific needs. I personally use the normal setting for general washing and for a deeper cleaning I use the heavy duty cycle. The light is subtle yet bright enough to illuminate what's inside. Cleaning out the filter is a breeze, take it out, pop it open, clean, close, put back in, done. Samsung has really gotten good with the appliances and I can only wait for the next time I have to upgrade, which won't be for a while as these will last a good long time.

I love the LED lights for at night when I'm doing laundry, it lights up perfect. I love that it has a child lock on the buttons so the kids can't come press buttons it also locks the door during the cycle which is great. There is different settings to dry on, i like that I can choose the time to dry or use one of the presettings on the dial. You can also choose how much heat it uses to dry as well which is great. I highly recommend this dryer!

I’m so disappointed in this dryer. It ruins clothing! You can’t dry anything that has a zipper. The holes in the lint screen are too large that the zipper gets stuck as the drum spins, ripping it right off. The first time I noticed a broken zipper, I didn’t realized it was the dryer. The second time, it ruined another sweater and I knew the dryer was the culprit as the zipper (ripped off) was still stuck in the lint trap. I told my daughter, she said it did the same thing to her jacket!! I’ve only had this dryer for approximately 1 month and it’s ruined 3 pieces of clothing!

This dryer is a more basic model, but has everything I need, from customizable settings to Sensor Dry! There are also preset settings too. There's a lint filter indicator too (looks like two overlapping grids)! I tend to clean my filter out after every use, if I remember to, but this is a great icon. Also, the lint filter is a container type, so can hold up a decent amount of lint. The dryer itself also holds a good amount (especially given the space it takes up - not a lot). The price is also great.

The flexibility that the various settings offer means I can customize the cycle to fit whatever laundry I have. Our old dryer only had 3 settings for the temperature and only worked on timed dry, now I don't have to guess at how long to set the dryer for to get the clothes dry and not running longer than necessary. I love being able to set the desired dryness level for the finished laundry and the wrinkle saver option. There is a light inside that helps make sure I get all the laundry out and am not leaving socks behind.

I bought this just over a month ago, had to go out of town for a family emergency, came home, used the dryer, and the flap under the lint trap broke, I had to reach into the slot to pull it out, I called 9 days ago about it, never heard back, called again today and they said because I didn’t report it in the first 2 weeks of owning it, I have to buy the parts and fix it myself??? You only warranty for two weeks? I even purchased an extended warranty, what is the use of that? You use cheap plastic parts that break immediately, I am beyond angry.

do not buy this dryer. after a month and a half of purchasing new, the dryer started leaking water from the bottom (not from the connections). a few days after that, it started smoking and filled my house with toxic smoke in a few seconds. luckily i was right there and turned it off and unplug it before it caught my entire laundry room on fire. my air ducts are clear and was professionally installed... so i know with out a doubt it's not the dryer and not user error....I still have not been able to get it fixed or replaced...

I bought this piece of hot garbage in November 2020 and had to replace the heating element in 2022. Now it gives dc and c3 errors meaning the electrical is shot and needs to be repaired again. I am not putting any more money into this piece of junk and will never buy a Samsung appliance again. Even before it broke, the sensors were wrong, saying clothes were dry when they weren't, leaving wet clothes sitting in the dryer. I had to only use the time dry to remedy this particular problem. Would not recommend to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly impressed with this 7.5 cubic feet capacity Dryer. My favorite feature has to be the Sanitation setting. My household is filled with stuffed animals and we use this setting constantly. I also enjoy the copious amounts of setting and how easy it is to get the dryer up and running. One interesting setting is activewear that is des8gned to dry water repellent garments and other gym type material. There is also the benefit of the dryer lint collector. I love that it has more surface area than your normal collector. The collector is easily twice the size of our previous collector and its fairly easy to open up. With that being said, the dryer is far better at drying clothes than our previous dryer. It constantly heats the load in half the time as our previous one.

It is so large and can dry so many clothes in a shorter period of time! It’s so quiet too!!!! This dryer is so big the depth with the door open is 52.6 inches, I can put a big load in and set what type and my clothes are dry every time! There is a wrinkle prevent that will run 180 minutes of intermittent tumbling in unsheathed air that will help reduce wrinkles which help so much with less ironing! I’ll add a picture of the cycle chart that has so many opinions, I can dry my quilt and no longer have to go to the laundry mat for that! This machine can be stacked with the washer or side by side depending the size area you have! This machine has been a blessing to a mom of boys!!

I have had it with this dryer. It has not dried clothes from day one. I have read the manual and interestingly there is a lot of info about how to fix it!!!! What does That tell you? I have given it the benefit of doubt but I am fed up that it takes hours to dry one load. And I’m not talking a large load!! I shouldn’t have to fix my new dryer and that probably won’t work anyway!!!! Also no light inside-with a black drum!! Try to contact Samsung-good luck. Takes you to electronics

Install was easy enough, but the size was deeper than expected. I should have measured but thought it would be relatively similar to my Neptune. In terms of performance, it takes a bit longer than I would want to dry large loads. It isn’t significantly slower than my previous so we are okay. Just wanted to inform that it may be good to limit load size.

With 9 preset options, even my youngest can handle the chore. The LED Panel is very well organized and lights up brightly when in use, I appreciate the larger print! Samsung gives you the option for the reminder bells, so you are in control. My favorite feature is hands down the wrinkle prevent option. No one hates ironing more than me and this is a great feature to have. Using the Sanitize option allows me to ensure my clothes are dried and extra fresh/clean and no linger odors remain and I am not afraid to say I have a stinky family. From sports to restaurant work, I need something that will take care of these odors! I actually jump up when it's time to do laundry. I can't wait to use it more!

I bought this dryer as part of the washer/dryer combination. It took Samsung 3 months to deliver and they kept changing the delivery date. When it was finally delivered, I did not notice damage to the dryer door until later. I called Samsung to report the damage and since it was past 48hrs from delivery, they would not replace my door or appliance. It was likely a floor model/open box model or returned product that they turned around and sent back out. Buyer beware.

i just bought the appliance 6 days ago (may 12, 2022) and when i registered it here on-line it shows that the warranty expired in september 2021. so, basically, i don’t have a one-year warranty because the appliance isn’t a 2022 model. why is it still being sold? the 3 stars are only for the brand as i do have another samsung appliance, but i would not recommend samsung going forward unless the warranty is from the date of purchase!!

I get busy throughout my day and don't always follow through with getting my clothes out right away. This feature works great for me. It's there when I am ready for it. I love all the different settings for drying my laundry, also. From how hot or cool the temperature, to how dry you actually want it. Sometimes I do like to have something "most of the way" dry but just a little damp. I also love the updated "buzzer", its just a cute little tune that sounds so much nicer than the "BZZZZZZZZZ" on my old dryer. So many options just to dry your clothes.......The sensor actually knows when your laundry is dry, too. I am anxious to try out the "sanitize" setting, but haven't yet. Not to mention how nice the set looks sitting there in the laundry area! I feel new and updated!!!

We have had to call for service twice because the drum belt kept falling off. The first time, there seemed to be a little piece of tape holding the tension wheel in place on the motor. the second time, the repairman stated that the belt had been frayed as if it were a 5-10 year-old belt.

Being a family of five with busy active kids and a working husband we tend to fill up on dirty clothes quickly between the Samsung washer in the dryer it cuts washing clothes in half! dryer seems ok - settings are easy enough. the lint catcher is joke. who designed it? you can't empty it easily - you have to dig your finger in and scrape the bottom of the catch and there's a divider in the middle that makes it impossible to empty in one sweep, so you fight the lint out , just bought last week, so i'll be scrapping for a long time. really needs improvement

I like the variety of setting options, pretty intuitive as it shows how long each option will run, how high the heat will be, etc with the LED lights on the panel. Much wider range of options than previous dryers I've dealt with.

I started to use this dryer a year ago it was working ok but I don’t know why it has stopped drying the clothes properly. I have to run it for a long time to dry the clothes properly. The new one is a great replacement, very similar "look and feel" and a little bit bigger. It's easy to run and defaults to a setting that is perfect for most washes. I hope this one gives me the extended service life that the old one did!

We bought this dryer (and Samsung washer) about a month ago when we returned our 9 month old washer/dryer set back to where we purchased it since the manufacturer refused to repair our washer since we lived in a rural area. Bought this Samsung set and so far the dryer has worked great. Hopefully continues to work well. Would definitely recommend this dryer.

Very noisy dryer. I hope it will last, only dried two loads since I got it. Disappointed it’s so noisy. Bought the washer and dryer at Lowe’s and they installed it. Anyone else notice how loud this dryer is? I just hope it’s not a defective dryer. The sensor for not over drying seems to not work well. Clothes are still damp when I use that setting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dryer it is the best dryer out there. It has alot of space for clothes blankets etc. The cycle is very quiet which is wonderful. The led light is very well lit and a great design. The inside light is great to see all the clothes in the dryer. Especially those pesky socks that get lost. It is super simple to operate. The quick dry is perfect to quickly dry a shirt or pants when you are in a hurry. Time dry is perfect when i want to be in control of how much time it takes to dry my clothes. The sanitize option gets rid of any odors and smells that linger and will make sure my dryer is at its best it can be. The melody it makes when its done is so cute and i am getting used to it. My previoys dryer had no sound at all when it was done. The dryer is definitely a eleven out of ten. It exceeds all my expectations and would recommend this to anyone looking for a superb dryer that works great. Every part of this dryer is my favorite.

One complaint is the dryer, when in eco mode, very often doesn't fully dry the clothes. This is very not good when it's freezing outside and you pull your work clothes out of the dryer in the morning. The other complaint is the lint trap style is not my favorite. It doesn't seem to catch things well. Now for the good. When you turn off eco mode, this dryer does very well. My clothes come out fully dry every time. The capacity is pretty good, although if you need to wash comforters often, I would recommend maybe sizing up as the dryer doesnt have room to flip comforters well. It looks great in white and has plenty of features and settings. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't come with a side discharge for the dryer vent, but I found that you can purchase it online. It's plenty quiet, although not going for any awards. I love some of the features such as wrinkle prevent and damp alert.

I have had this dryer for 3 years and every year the moisture sensor goes bad which cost +$300 to replace, so I have now spent more than the cost of the machine in repair bills. This year the drum is vibrating so badly its only a small matter of time before the dryer dies. Very disappointed with this product.

I purchased this dryer 8 months ago and it stopped working mid cycle. It now won't turn on and Samsung's warranty is with a third party, who wants me (115 pound 5.5 gal) to unstack it before they come. Absolute worst customer service and quite frankly; product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] amazing dryer, wow. so efficient and silent. Love it. Reminds me of the one I bought in 2014. Unfortunately, it died after 11 years, the motor went out. Seems like the top of this dryer gets warmer compared to the older model.

There has been no issues so far with the Dryer and has been working as expected. The noise is mild and takes normal washing capacity. I want to believe it doesn't consume much energy during wash cycles. It does the job for me.

Good dryer and worked well for 11 months. Nice pre sets and worked like a pro until it stopped heating. Working with support to try and get it working again is a nightmare. No working dryer now going on week 3. Avoid.

Please ensure the dryer is not in ECO DRY mode, as this setting will reduce the power consumption of certain other cycles but will extend the length of the cycle, potentially up to 3 times as long. Eco Dry is on by default on Normal and Time Dry cycles for models with the feature. The new dryer is in replacement to a Maytag dryer which we had for 14 years. While the new dryer functions in a satisfactory fashion, drying time is somewhat slower. Overall we are satisfied with our Samsung purchase.
