La semana pasada recibí el nuevo Galaxy Watch 8 en color grafito y me llegó antes de lo esperado. Desde el primer momento me impresionó su diseño: más delgado, ligero y cómodo que modelos anteriores, pero manteniendo ese estilo premium. La correa es un poco más clara de lo que imaginaba, pero el tono se ve bastante bien. Lo probé en el gimnasio y la experiencia fue excelente. Detectó mi rutina automáticamente y el monitoreo del ritmo cardíaco fue rápido y preciso, con sensores que se sienten mejorados, ideal para entrenamientos constantes. La batería también me sorprendió: después de un día completo de uso (notificaciones, ejercicio y monitoreo activo), aún quedaba bastante carga. Además, la conexión con mi Galaxy y los Galaxy Buds fue instantánea y sin fallos. Todo fluye muy bien dentro del ecosistema Samsung.

El soporte de carga inalámbrico no sirve. Con la correa puesta el reloj no se posiciona en horizontal para tocar la base y no puede cargar. Las correas no son fáciles de quitar. El otro cargador, redondo que se posiciona debajo del teléfono está bien pero se conecta con usb c con lo cual la mayoría de los cargadores que tengo (usb normales) no valen La batería dura menos de 12 horas. Por lo menos en los primeros 2 días. Leo que puede que sea al principio porque el reloj está "aprendiendo" y que puede que mejore después. La competencia dura entre 2-7 días La correa del 40 es muy justa, venía de un Garmin Venu 2 Plus y me sobraban 2 agujeros, aquí estoy en el último y casi me tira. Positivo, es fino (uno de los más finos) y elegante. Aún estoy esperando la llamada de soporte de Samsung para saber si lo devuelvo y lo cambio por otra marca

The battery life is a definite improvement - the watch will last all day with considerable use and exercise monitoring. And the charging speed is significantly quicker than previous models. The watch is easy to set up and provides a great walk-through when you first use it to help get used to the features. A large clear responsive screen makes day to day use a breeze. Ive had many people compliment me on how smart the watch looks and its comfort fit means often you forget you're even wearing it. The step count, distance and heart rate monitoring is all very accurate and I like how you can view day, week, month and year on the wearable app to compare your results constantly. Ive always liked Samsung products, but this has confirmed my opinion that their products are well made, fashionable, and comfortable whilst constantly keeping up to date with the latest technology. I look forward to continuing using the watch and more than likely finding even more useful features that I'll fall in love with. 5* product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a day to day smart watch in an affordable price category!!

Ya llevo 7 días usando mi Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 44mm. Es un wearable increíble. El diseño es hermoso y vanguardista, es muy cómodo en el día a día y durante el sueño, el brillo y calidad de la pantalla bajo condiciones de sol intenso son muy correctos, las posibilidades de personalización y el apartado de salud es muy completo y preciso. Muy útil si estas empezando a hacer deporte o ya eres deportista. La duración de la batería es bastante buena y con el uso intensivo que le doy me dura dia y medio (haciendo ajustes precisos y sin sacrificar mediciones de salud importantes). Muy satisfecho con el producto y completa perfectamente mi ecosistema Samsung Galaxy.

It’s more comfortable than other smartwatches I’ve tried and fits under my sleeves with no problem. The screen is bright and clear, so checking messages and notifications is easy. The touch bezel is smooth to use and doesn’t make the watch bulky. The watch face looks clean and modern. I like the health features—heart rate and workout tracking are very accurate. The new Galaxy AI also makes it simple to manage notifications and keep track of my fitness. Overall, this is my favorite smartwatch so far. It’s easy, comfortable, and works really well.

El Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 es un gadget elegante, inteligente y atento. Es como un amigo que te recuerda cuidar tu salud, analiza tu sueño y hasta te insinúa que quizá sea mejor comerte una manzana en vez de una hamburguesa. El diseño es estilizado y ligero, y la pantalla brilla incluso bajo el sol. Las funciones de salud son realmente completas: desde el seguimiento de antioxidantes hasta el análisis de la carga vascular y la calidad del sueño. Y con Gemini integrado, el reloj se convierte en tu asistente personal — pero sin caprichos ni el clásico “síndrome del lunes”. La batería dura en promedio día y medio. I bought this to replace my Pixel Watch, but it has been a total disappointment. The Trade-In: The valuation is misleading. After sending in my watch, the final credits were so low that I practically gave my old device away for free. Performance: The interface is incredibly buggy compared to the smooth experience of the Pixel Watch. The UI feels unfinished and clunky. Save your money and your old tech. This was a huge mistake.

Pre ordered the Galaxy Watch8. Traded in my old watch, and got a wonderful credit towards the new device. So happy that I did. The new watch is crisp, with a new face that has a plate behind it. Makes it look elegant. The only issue I have is there is not many different colors of bands to choose from besides White. I prefer a taupe color.

I bought the watch8 about six months ago, replacing my watch 5, and found the watch 8 slow. I wanted to use YT music while I work out at the gym and not have my phone. Sitting on the work out bench selecting my work out routine then my YT work out music the YT seems to freeze on a black screen. I always have to fiddle with it to eventually see my play list. Yes I downloaded my playlist. I wanted to use the LTE but my phone carrier Rogers charges are too high. I can't seem to get the BMI to work goes to 99% then seems revert back to the widget. Also keeps missing counts when I'm benching. I have reset the watch and still does the same. For the price I expected better performance. The screen is amazing.

She used the Galaxy Watch 6 daily, and the only problem with it was that the fitness tracking seemed to not be as accurate. As the the Galaxy watch 8 has a few improvements here, it seemed like the right move and it does seem to be more accurate. The Galaxy Watch 8 has been both exciting and, in some areas, surprising. While the jump isn't revolutionary, there are enough meaningful improvements to justify the upgrade. It seems faster, better at tracking and the battery also lasts longer. My wife also liked the style this has over previous generations with the change in shape.

The screen resolution is crisp; vivid and the brightness also helps to make it easy to read even in direct sunlight. The straps included however is too short and I need to purchase additional straps. I was able to set it up with ease when paring with Samsung S23 . It very responsive to touch without and delay. I use the watch record my activity when running on treatmill. The distance recorded are very closed and that give me confident the accuracy when GPS signal is not available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So yes initially it looks massive on my small wrist, but on closer inspection it is just the squarer frame of the face. On set up I love the fact it asked if I wanted to restore the settings from my previous watch which I did and it has transferred all my existing settings and watch faces to the new device and really quickly. I am using the health monitoring features and have noticed there is a greater accuracy when recording steps than in earlier models alongside the updated gps. The blood pressure has been calibrated and the ECG has been recorded, so I will see how I get on after a work out. I love it so far and it has been a great addition to my fitness routine and wardrobe, the straps are easy to change so goes with everything.

Llevo 1 semana con el producto y esta estupendo, pedi la version de 40mm y esta muy comodo la pantalla de ve increible tiene buen brillo bajo el sol. Lo uso principalmente para el ejercicio y es muy preciso en la medición, puedes contestar llamadas y responder mediante texto o voz, la bateria dura medio dia si lo ocupas al 100 las funciones pero no le veo problema pues carga en menos de 30 minutos al 100...no lo he sumergido en agua pero si bajo la lluvia y no he tenido problema tiene funcion para ser impermeable....si lo recomiendo bastante.

Mainly, I wanted a better battery life, which the Watch 8 definitely delivers on. I now only charge every other day which is amazing! The 8 is also lighter, looks nicer and feels more comfortable on my wrist, it doesnt feel bulky at all, which is amazing considering all the upgrades to the display and AI features. Overall, I definitely recommend to everyone looking for an everyday smartwatch, you can't go wrong with the Watch 8.

I thought I was doing a lot of walking in just my everyday travels but know I KNOW I am. It gives me a different reading on my kilometres to the treadmill which is a bit disapponting as I want it to say 5k which is what the treadmill reads but the watch always has it as less. I am able to see how high my hearbeat raises to on the spin bike. It tracks circiut but iI am not sure what it is measuring. I am yet to use it whist swimming. I know that I can but I am a bit wary that I may not press the lock water out bit. However I am most excited to use it there as I wantot know if it tracks my laps which will be brilliant and my speed per length. That will be very interesting

It let me see deeper into what I am actually doing when I go out for a run. I gave it to my son to test out as well and he was raving about the various features like body composition - which let him see his body fat % and so much more. My only problem with it is that the Bluetooth drains the battery very quickly which means that I cannot use it for sleep purposes which was the main reason I bought it. Apart from that, I really enjoyed using this watch and would 100% recommend it to a friend.

I've used several smartwatches since the Galaxy Watch3. The Galaxy Watch8 has such a beautiful design and looks so good in person that I immediately bought it. I chose the graphite color because I like dark tones, and the soft strap makes it comfortable to wear. The watch's performance is fast and responsive, so it's comfortable to wear. It also has various health-related features, so I'm enjoying it. My favorite thing about it is the bright display.

Nunca he estado mas contenta con mi compra. Estaba entre este y el ultra, pero por tamaño ya que tengo muñeca muy pequeña, escogi este. Trae el cargador y se carga muy rapido. Tiene muchas funciones, pero lo de escuchar musica, leer los wasaps, etc sin el telefono en la mano esta genial. Cuando haces una ruta te va indicando todo, lo que llevas andado, las calorias quemadas, las pulsaciones..... Recomiendo al 100% comprarle no te arrepentiras.

I really love my Galaxy 8 watch I've got it custom configured for a mix of health and sports monitoring activities. Communicates nicely with my Galaxy S24plus. Despite my loving this watch, I'm growing tired of having to charge the battery everyday and a half, you would think at this price, this class of Galaxy watches should last at least 3 to 5 days on a charge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have upgraded my watch 6 to the Samsung Watch 8 and I am so impressed! I was unsure about the change to the design but having tried it on my mind was completely changed! It looks brilliant. Set up was so easy, as I had a watch already I was able to set it up from the latest back up so my settings and faces were all transferred over. I was really excited to try the new features I kept seeing advertised on my watch 6 and they do not disappoint. I can now track my AGES index, vascular load, and Antioxidant level. The last one is really clever, you place your thumb over the sensor and it measures the build up carotenoids in your skin. It's really made me think about increasing my fruit and veg intake to get a better score. The layout of the tiles is new too, you can now stack one on top of the other so they are grouped into categories or you could do it by your favourites. Really excited to try out the running coach and I'll update my review once I have.

The new Gemini integration works very well, everything is so easy to use and measurements, sleep, steps etc seem very accurate once compared with other smart watches on the market. Battery life I'm averaging just over 2 days which for me is fine as I like to charge my devices upto 100% daily so all is good in that department. Nice variation of watch faces and customisations to really make this watch unique to you and your personality. Overall a really nice watch and have encountered zero problems since my purchase.

Despues de 4 años con el Galaxy Watch 4 de 44mm, me decidi a cambiar al Watch 8 de 44mm en preventa. En 4 años se nota claramente la evolucion que se ha sufrido la gama de wearables, en cuanto a fluidez, desempeño, nuevas funciones, bateria y capa de personalizacion. No puede haber sido mas acertado el cambio.

Es un reloj ligero y casi no notas que lo llevas puesto. Me gusta mucho la definición de la pantalla se ve muy bien, se puede personalizar todo para adaptarlo a tus intereses. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my first Galaxy watch and I swapped to the Watch 8 from the Watch 7. Alot of times when you upgrade on 1 year cycle the differences seem small. But having used the Watch for just over a week this does feel a different experience. The OS - Watch 8.0 is smooth and looks really nice. Moving between tiles and apps has nice transition. The screen brightness indoors and outdoors is fantastic, easy to read and phone like quality. I haven't been able to use fitness aspects too much due to a small injury, but hopefully soon. Battery life has been good, even though a bigger battery , I think the screen brightness means performance for the Watch 8 is about the same as Watch 7! But that's fine. Normal day off the charger of being at work for sometimes 12 hours stillnaround 70%. The gestures seem to react quicker maybe due to the redesign of the Watch fitting closer to the wrist which is a good improvement. Overall I would say it's a very good upgrade with a comfortable feel to it.

From the moment I unboxed it to setting it up and using it daily, the experience was smooth and intuitive—far better than I expected. Pairing with my phone was quick and hassle-free. Best of all, the LTE version I chose lets me stay connected without being tethered to my smartphone. Honestly, I wish I’d made the switch sooner! To cap it all, the LTE version I ordered allows me to free myself from the clutches of my smartphone. Wish I got one sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turned up just before my holiday and has been great, used it all my trip away to keep an eye on my heart rate, step count and something I didn’t realise it supports, blood pressure - the health and fitness tracking along with the improved battery life of the newer watch let me use it for almost 2 days without needing to charge. The watch is a much needed change from older Galaxy Watches that came before - much thinner footprint than previous models, and a display that’s bright enough to read easily in bright sunshine. I am coming from a Galaxy Watch 4 and the performance is noticeably better, the OS on the device is much snappier and smoother in comparison. I didn’t realise that the GPS was quicker to lock and is definitely improved. The only downside for the device is the newer style straps, which means they’re no longer a standard fit for a watch and are proprietary. Not a massive downside, but it does mean my old straps won’t work, but I’ll get some new ones! Overall, fantastic upgrade and well worth it.

Cette montre est agréable à porter et facilite beaucoup de choses, elle est dotée de beaucoup de fonctionnalités et caractéristiques super utiles, permettant à l'utilisateur d'avoir un œil sur sa santé et sur beaucoup d'autres choses comme son sommeil, ses activités sportives etc. Cette montre est polyvalente, on peut appeler, envoyer des messages, mettre de la musique et bien d'autres ce qui facilite le quotidien et peut même faire office de "second téléphone". La batterie dure longtemps et ne prend pas beaucoup de temps à charger. Elle est personnalisable à souhait, on peut interchanger le bracelet, personnaliser le fond d'écran, le cadre, les applis etc. J'aime beaucoup et je ne regrette pas cet achat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with my new watch. It connected to my Samsung phone as soon as I turned it on, and it set up very easily. I have found it easy to work around the menus and get it set up as I want to. I have found the features really helpful in monitoring my health and exercise, and in encouraging me to think about what I eat and what I do. My only issue is that this watch did not come with a C plug, so I was not able to use it until I purchased one separately. The charge also does not last much more than a day, so I need to find a time in my day to charge it regularly so it does not run out. I find this watch comfortable to wear and there are other straps and protective covers available to personalise it.

The watch strap is such a shame - I have had the watch all of one week and the strap is already worn and discoloured... I have done perhaps 6 hours of exercise in that time and worn it for sleep tracking. How can you market a watch the be good for sleep tracking and fitness, but sell it with a band that discolours after 1 week? Very disappointing. The watch itself is great to use - nothing special. Coming from the Watch 4, there is not exceptionally noticeable upgrade but it is smooth to use and the screen is clear. Nice a light also. Has a couple of laggy moments hopefully updates will iron this out. Battery life isnt great but its liveable.

I've found the options such as sleep apnea analysis, blood oxygen levels and skin temperature to predict period options to record whilst sleeping to be interesting ideas I had not thought about before purchasing the watch. I've found the watch comfortable to wear, even whilst sleeping. I think the design is sleek and not too bulky, but feels secure throughout wear. The watch is easy to navigate with a good sized face to check emails and reply to messages. So far I am enjoying wearing and using the watch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Watch 8 arrived in smart packaging. Inside there was the watch and cable for the charger. Unfortunately the charger is USB type C instead of normal USB, so I needed to buy a new adapter for it. The design of the watch is really smart and looks great on my wrist. I like that is sits flatter on my hand as this makes it a lot more comfortable than my previous smartwatch. The Watch 8 was easy to connect to and to set up. It has a lot of cool features like Energy score, sleep tracking, Stress tracking, Breathing exercises. I was excited to try the Blood pressure and ECG features but I was unable because they are available only if your phone is Samsung too, and my phone is another brand. That was quite disappointing as it feels like part of the functionality of the watch is blocked for Samsung users only. Another disappointing thing is the battery life. The battery lasts around two days with moderate use of the watch. That's a bit limiting, I expected better battery performance. Overall the watch is comfortable, looks amazing and has impressive features, especially for Samsung smartphone users.

I was pleasantly surprised by the elegant and minimalist design – it looks luxurious, yet the watch is lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The strap is soft and stays firmly in place, even during workouts. Display is bright, crisp, and incredibly smooth – even outdoors in direct sunlight. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate between features and customize settings to fit my needs. Battery life exceeded my expectations – with daily use (notifications, Always On Display, sleep tracking), it lasts about 2 days, which I find perfectly acceptable. The only downside is the slightly longer charging time. I mostly use heart rate monitoring, AGE index, stress tracking, workouts, and sleep tracking. The in-depth analysis of sleep quality, stages, and personalized recommendations are standout features for me. While I love the overall design and functionality of the Galaxy Watch8, I was disappointed to find that it doesn't work with the original Samsung Dual Wireless Charger due to the strap’s position. It only charges properly if you remove the strap, which is frustrating and unexpected for two official Samsung products.

It feels like having a smartphone on your wrist, thanks to all the apps and features it offers. I've been using it for a week now, so it's gathered a lot of data about me and my lifestyle. Using this, it can provide suggestions and advice on activity and sleep times to improve health and wellbeing. I find this so fascinating and helpful in my day-to-day life. Having additional features like the weather app, WhatsApp, emails, and phone is so convenient, as I don't constantly need to pick up and turn on the phone. I can easily check everything from my wrist! The display is great, especially in high light and sunny conditions, you can clearly see the screen, images and text are sharp. It's also very responsive to touch. One thing it lacks is battery life, which is why I can only give this watch a 4 out of 5. I find myself charging it every 2 days, and it even takes more than an hour to fully charge. I understand that having all these features and sensors uses a lot of battery, but it's still definitely something that can be improved on. Overall, it's still a great watch. The price is also reasonable. I would recommend this watch to a friend.

I love the overall look & feel of the Watch8. The screen is bright and crisp. The 44mm is a great fit and the sport band is cool. The watch feels much lighter on my wrist and reassuringly it is tough and durable. I like the simple press-of-a-button to remove the strap. It’s so much better and stress-free. Setting up the watch was seamless and I was all done within 15 minutes. The Wearable app on my Samsung phone brought everything over without any issues, including my health profile and watch face settings. Speaking of health profile, my favourite feature about the watch is the energy score along side the sleep tracking and auto workout detection. I used it when swimming and it was spot on. The water lock feature comes in handy here. The waterproof rating of the watch makes it great for adventures and activities I like to do. The durability of the watch is impressive. The other health features such as stress and blood oxygen monitoring are excellent and I find myself using them to get a full picture of my health. I absolutely love the Watch8! It is the perfect balance of form and function.

There are simple manuals easy to access to help get u connected and how to navigate the watch. It's a lovely light watch with easy interchangeable straps which I think it's a lovely option. Good size face and wide selection of faces which u can customise. The only downside is the battery life, while the health apps are amazing to have it does drain the battery i haven't used the watch to it's full potential so I don't think it would last a full day if u did. I had to turn on the power saver to get around 1.5days use before charging. On the whole a really good watch and a good investment if u are always losing your fone at the bottom of your bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this watch to test against the Samsung watch 6 and it's definitely an improvement and I wasn't unhappy with it. I think I've tried out all of features except for the running options. I don't run. The only thing I had an issue with was the hiking function on one occasion in that it paused and didn't restart so instead of a 5 hour hike it tracked 37 minutes. There doesn't seem to be an auto-pause on hiking but it thankfully was only a one off. I do love the shape of the screen and that a lot more items on the screen compared to the 6. The battery lasts about the same time comparing to the previous models but this is on full power rather than battery saving mode. The watch 8 charges a lot quicker. Well worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was taken aback by the sleek elegance of the watch. Its streamlined compared to its other counterparts. The buttons at the side are sleek and not too protruding. The strap is comfortable and neat and the end of the strap is comfortably tucked internally. The face of the watch is a giod size and it is bright and you can see it in all weather's (including bright sunlight). The watch took a little getting used to as I was using a predecessor which had a dial but once there it was easy to use and set up. It was very straight forward a d things were moved instantaneously from my old watch to new, with all my details. The accuracy of using it for activities, like swimming, treadmill, walking etc were much more accurate. The health apps for monitoring blood pressure, heart rate and sleeping were great. The quality of calls were much better. Texting was a little difficult due to sausage fingers but yu can use voice messages. The battery has improved but wish it would last longer. The one thing I did not like is when the watch is low on battery, it goes into battery saving mode (which is good) but if it's nighttime it will not give full details of your sleep. The charger is fast so you are not without ur watch for long. I would recommend this watch and it looks amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The watch looks really nice, has bright display, variaty of features and is the most comfortable tracking watch I have had. However, there are some negatives too - some of the features are available only for Samsung smartphone users which is quite restrictive. The battery lasts around 2 days with minimum usage, which is just not enough. Also, the sport band it came with started getting dirty after few weeks of wear - the sisal bits are getting darker, and the corners of the band are turning blue. It's quite dissapinting quality for a Samsung product at such a price point and makes me wander how long would the watch last. While there are quite few positives of this watch, the negatives are a reason why I wouldn't repurchase it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, so I found out YESTERDAY that you can literally text Galaxy AI and it’ll handle stuff for you — and it’s so smooth I can’t believe it. I asked it to pull up a doc I was editing on my laptop, set a reminder on my watch, and find a show on my TV. No extra steps. I’ve slowly built out my whole Samsung lineup over the years: Galaxy Tab for work, Galaxy Book for everything else, Buds for calls, Smart TV + soundbar for movie nights, and my Galaxy Watch that I basically live in. With Galaxy AI now in the mix, it feels like all my gear finally has one brain. Samsung, you’ve outdone yourselves. This is the kind of efficiency I didn’t know I needed.

I was initially hesitant to purchase the Galaxy Watch8 since I already owned the Watch6 and was concerned it might be too large for my wrist due to the bezel surround. However, after unboxing it, I was pleasantly surprised—it’s the perfect size! It fits comfortably, and it's actually slimmer and lighter than I expected. Setting it up was a breeze. Transferring data took less than five minutes, and everything synced smoothly. The main reason I upgraded was for the new health features, and I’m happy to say they’ve exceeded my expectations. The sensor is incredibly precise and reacts quickly to steps, heart rate, and sleep tracking. The battery has lasted me just over 24 hours, but during this time I used it to record three different exercises, read WhatsApp messages, and measure stress levels. The battery charged fairly quickly and even alerted me on my phone when it reached 100%. It honestly feels like having a mini personal trainer on my wrist—it tells me when I’m fully rested, monitors my heart rate, alerts me when I need to rest, and even offers dietary advice. Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or looking to level up your current goals, I highly recommend this watch. It’s more than just a smartwatch—it’s a smart companion for your health.

I have always loved Samsung products and feel that Samsung always delivers on providing the latest technology, features, quality, and durability. It does not disappoint with this watch either. Samsung has built upon the great features it already had and has further improved them, such as the tracking, which seems to be even more accurate. The only thing that I was unsure on was the design where I felt Samsung could not decide if they wanted the watch to be round or square and I personally preferred my previous round watch but I would have also been happy if it was square without the circular watch sitting in the square. This is, however, just my preference, and it does not take anything away from the watch and its amazing features. The watch seems faster, and the battery life has slightly improved but only ever so slightly. I feel I still need to charge it in the mornings whilst I'm getting ready for work. If you are looking at purchasing a smart watch then I would highly recommend this one, it is great for those who want more from a watch then just telling the time, its great to track your daily workouts and steps and also for taking calls and checking messages on the go aswell as a convenient way to make purchases. I highly recommend purchasing the Samsung 8 watch.

La verdad es que estoy encantado con el Galaxy Watch8. Es un reloj muy bonito, elegante y con un diseño que llama la atención, pero lo que más me está gustando es lo bien que funciona. Las mediciones que hace son súper precisas y me están ayudando un montón a cuidar mi salud. Una de las funciones que más me ha sorprendido es la medición de la carga vascular, que te da una idea muy clara de cómo está respondiendo tu cuerpo al esfuerzo y al estrés diario. En general, lo recomiendo muchísimo. Para mí, es el mejor smartwatch que puedes tener ahora mismo.

It's a very good device. It has a battery that lasts long enough, and the AI-regulated power management helps. However, if you're looking for a battery you don't have to worry about charging daily (every two days if you activate battery saver mode), check out the Galaxy Watch Ultra or the Galaxy Watch Classic. It bothers me that It bothers me that there are two apps to do the same thing, but that can be fixed with a software update. The gestures are a bit complicated to execute, so one or two sensors are somewhat slow, although I'm not sure if these gestures work better with the Galaxy Ring. The screen is simply beautiful; there's nothing to improve in that regard. I would recommend this watch more for people who don't go out much or who already have a very specific routine, like going for occasional runs or going to the gym. Connectivity is quite smooth if you have devices from the same brand, although I don't have One UI 8 for personal reasons, it works excellently with One UI 7 (based on my experience with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series). I love how easily they connect to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro without having to disconnect the phone first. Samsung's modes and routines work better, however, they still glitch occasionally, although that might be due to their configuration. As for customization... well, there are a few things that could be improved, and I'd like the icons to be a bit larger.

I read the reviews that said basically the 8 was the same as the 7 with just a new display that closer resembles the apple watch but I feel this is wrong. Yes the display is shaped differently but it makes the watch face clearer. I use my watch primarily for workout tracking, sleep tracking and occasionally calls and text. The accuracy of the workouts is better and the breakdown of the information gathered is better. My sleep has been more accurately measured. I have not used the new Galaxy AI features yet but I anticipate doing so in the next week.

When the Samsung Health app updated and introduced features like a running coach and more in-depth health insights exclusive to the new Galaxy Watch 8, I knew it was time to upgrade. After a week of wearing it, I’m genuinely impressed. The level of detail it provides on my sleep, nutrition, and fitness has been fantastic. Over the past year, I’ve been trying to take my health and wellbeing more seriously, and this watch has become the perfect companion on that journey. The display is noticeably larger and sleeker than my previous watch, and it fits comfortably on my wrist. I did swap out the original white strap for a more durable one since my job can get a bit muddy—I didn’t want to ruin it! One of the most useful features is being able to receive and reply to notifications directly from the watch. If I misplace my phone, I can even ping it from the watch, which has been a real lifesaver. The battery lasts just over a day and a half, and I usually charge it while I’m showering or getting ready for bed, so it’s fully charged overnight. With lighter use, I imagine it could last even longer. If you’re thinking about getting a new smartwatch—or even your first one—I highly recommend the Galaxy Watch 8. It works seamlessly with my Samsung phone and has given me a much better understanding of my health and fitness. It’s easy to set up, user-friendly, and packed with features that genuinely make a difference.

Very comfortable too, I forget im even wearing a watch until I need it! The amount of tech on this wonderful watch is incredible. I have not used it to its full potential yet. I have many health sections to set up but so far its been a huge help. My heart is irregular so its great to keep an eye on what my heart rate is doing. I charge it once a day , generally when I am cooking dinner or something where I do not need to use the watch for measurements. The health app is wonderful again still in progress! Even the simple footsteps tracker is great to keep an eye on what you do throughout the day. The screen is bright with huge detailing. My husband sent me a link on WhatsApp if bathrooms which amamzingly I could open and have a look at bathroom suits on my watch! The picture was perfectly clear and lots of details. I have sent texts with type but its easier to tell the watch what to write. I have walked around Tesco talking to my mum on loud speaker on my watch whilst my phone was in my bag. This watch has blown my mind but I still have so much to explore and learn! The ai is very handy when I need to ask questions like where the nearest kfc is or what is the weather going to be like tomorrow. I am amazed what this watch can do and yet still have so much to learn. Connecting the watch to my phone was easy and personalising the watch was fun and easy to do too. I would hugely recommend this watch to anyone and again Im still exploring!

Today is my 3rd day with my new watch. I got the 40mm in silver with the small/medium sport strap in mint. The face is plenty large for my wrist, strap is roomy enough. Cons: strap was very difficult to clip on! Battery dies quickly! I'd really like more watch faces that are more feminine, most seem very masculine. I'd love to be able to use my phone screen saver for my clock face. Pros: I'm loving the health monitoring, even an ekg and sleep apnea detector. I love the sleep monitor. Nice to be able to check my notifications from my watch. Fairly comfortable to wear. I haven't worn a watch steady so it's new. Pros:

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is an impressive smartwatch. I am loving Samsung's move to the minimalist slick style. The Galaxy Watch 8 is a squircle design which makes it thinner and lighter than the watch 6 but had me running off to purchase a pile of screen protectors for next day delivery due to my fears of it not surviving impact of kettlebells and barbell blast type classes I do. (Full disclosure: I had to change the screen protector on my watch 6 on average once in eight weeks). The Watch 8 straps no longer lies flat, abrading your wrists if you do impact sports like boxing. The Watch 8 also has new health features like Vascular Load and Antioxidant Index which told me off for not having enough fruit and vegetables. There are more gestures shortcuts like the double wrist twist to decline a call and knock knock to launch an application. All in all a pretty solid smartwatch. Now to the reason its 4 instead of 5 stars in my opinion, The Watch 8 does not fit the samsung charging pads that allows you charge multiple devices at once. In this connected age when charging ability is at a premium, overlooking this integration is an interesting blunder. Once charged to 100% a full day (7am -11pm) -including 1 hour of active exercise tracking- used up 70% of the battery life!! I switched on the power saving mode to help it last longer and it does reduce your vitals monitoring ending at a respectable 43%. If this is your first foray into smartwatches or you're considering an upgrade and value the latest technology and health tracking capabilities, the Watch 8 is a compelling choice that I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My much-anticipated new Galaxy Watch8 BT 44mm has finally arrived and I've just paired it up with my phone and the wearable app. I’m looking forward to fully setting it up, so it is personalised for me. The initial set up though was a simple enough process and having paired it with my phone and my Wearable App login it brought across my data from my previous Galaxy watch, which was a big plus. I have to say I was in two minds about the design, namely the square bezel, but upon opening and placing the watch on my wrist it’s no longer a concern – the clean lines and the discreet rounding of the corners blends in nicely with the round screen. I was also concerned about going with the 44mm, thinking it would be too big for my small wrist, but I am pleased to say I’m glad I went with it and not the 40mm. The 44mm provides reading on my watch much more clarity without having to hold it closer to read. It is so much lighter than my previous version and love the extra features right down to personalisation on the face. Makes it feel extra special and its mine. The hybrid strap is comfortable (just a tad too long for my wrist), but nothing I can't live with. Looking forward to fully setting it up and all the other features, namely the health apps which are great for keeping a track of yourself. Being able to personalise tabs and apps is a great feature, especially as I live in my watch and can keep up to date with messages etc. My last watch saved me when I was locked out in my back garden with no one around to shout for help, as I was able to message my contacts from it to get help – literally a life saver – I’m sure my new watch will come in handy in case I ever get trapped again.

I bought this to replace my very old Fitbit. While the screen of the new watch can do fancy things, the battery life isn't even half of what my extremely old Fitbit was. I've taken off most of the programs that track various things and always have the battery saver on, but it only lasts for a few days. What is the point of having access to the different programs if running them is going to kill the battery in a day? Also the extremely expensive band I got with it gave me an awful rash on my wrist that still hasn't gone away even though I've bought off-brand ones and have changed arms. I wish I could send it back, but I'm probably over the return time.

I received the Galaxy Watch8 2 weeks ago and am very happy with my purchase! I upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 and I have to say that the battery life is so much better with the Watch8 than the Watch7. With the Watch7 LTE, I would get less than 1 day of battery life, even with the LTE turned off, and just sitting around the house. With the Watch8, even walking around all day while on vacation, I was returning to the hotel room with approximately 50% battery, such an improvement! The display is also much criper, and I really like the new UI. I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking for a smartwatch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new watch for just over a week now, this arrived the day before i headed away to europe for a week, so it was perfect timing and has given me the chance to get used to all of the features. First impressions: this is a really attractive watch, with a great screen and a very satisfying unboxing experience. Setting up the watch was a bit more fiddly. As this is my first Samsung Watch and I don't have a Samsung phone, I had to download a couple of apps and whilst I was guided through the process, some of the setup steps didn't work first time and I had to retry them. Once the initial set up was done, I then had the chance to get in to the more advanced stuff: connecting running apps, setting up wifi, setting up NFC payments. Thankfully these were all pretty straightforward and I could get in to using it for running, for day to day use and during sleep. The watch has a new AI running coach - which assesses your running level. I am an experienced runner but I was forced to do the AI running coach in order to get access to the more advanced running options. But once I had access to these, the watch has all the tech that I would expect from a dedicated running watch along with some really nifty features - such as an assessment of your running symmetry, contact time and others that can help you take your running to the next level. the watch also tracks key metrics of your health, including during your sleep and can provide you with some really interesting feedback on your sleeping patterns and help to coach you in to a better sleep pattern. I wore the watch every day and night during my holiday and it was really comfortable - it's quickly become a constant companion and i've really enjoyed exploring all of the genuinely useful features. I'm sure there are even more that i'm yet to unlock. I've hesitantly taken the step to upgrade from a dedicated running watch and so far I have absolutely no regrets - it was well worth the upgrade.

The seamless connectivity that my Watch8 provides me to such apps as Samsung Health has been instrumental in helping me keeping top of mind awareness on so many health related matters in a very positive way. Synching that with Galaxy AI made that process even more eye opening to discovering best practices that have helped me explore different health paths to explore. Galaxy I shared new training programs that were easy to follow at home and at my own pace. At times it feels like you have your own personal trainer working for you 24/7.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this watch, originally, just to check texts. Now I use it to help keep track of work meeting, as well as keeping connected to my team. Make sure you read the tutorials - it blew my socks off with how to use so many features I didn't even know I had!! Galaxy AI had been so helpful in seeing things organized and keeping me on track. I also use it to track my steps, and every other exercise i do. And can we talk about the sleep feature?! It adjusts to your schedule, and starts making suggestions before bed. In the morning, you'll get a synopsis of how well you slept, and in each stage of sleep. Simply put : BUY IT!! You won't regret it for a minute!!
