The picture is good and various aspects can be adjusted. Many channels and apps are available and you can set up other apps and favorite channels. Many steps can be involved and require some practice and patience to figure out how to work some buttons. It’s good to be able to quickly return to the immediate previous channel being watched and flip back and forth during commercials. It takes some trial and error to see the info/content of the channels. The sound is fine. The stand is easy to install and the tv is lightweight.

Had an electrical transformer explode at the street and the surge blew out my old tv even with a surge protector. So, I researched and found this one on sale. What an excellent tv. Was a bit of a learning curve to understand and use all the features/menus. The paper manual is in tiny print, so I went to the Samsung website and downloaded all the manuals: tv user manual, user setup, remote control and quick start up, etc. I was then able to enlarge and read them om my computer screen. Took me a couple of hours to fully explore, understand, and set all the features, but once done it became very easy and intuitive to use. For the $, tv is featured packed, excellent sound and picture. All menus and functions are smooth and relatively fast in responding and populating. I am impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me. Very pleased with this purchase.

Wonderful brightness settings that change automatically in settings option. Love the Samsung Plus channels/ guide. So many choices for stations to watch TV without a fee. The only negative I have is we struggle at times with the sound and wish we could change to meet "our" needs. Sometimes we feel it's still not liud enough. Awesome color. We've actually had compliments regarding the clarity and color of our TV picture. Very glad of our purchase.

Initial setup is simple. Finding, downloading, and adding apps to the Smart Hub is a breeze. Things I wish were different. The Smart Hub has more going on in it than my other two Samsungs. I wish it just showed the saved apps. Adding a Fiber Optic output would have been nice. And the biggie, the remote. Too few functions on it. So I purchased the Samsung BN59-01315A. This gives easier access to the Samsung TV Plus channel list and channel guide. A very inexpensive fix. Overall, you can not go wrong with this brand or TV.

Después de un par de meses de haber instalado la Samsung Crystal UHD U8000F de 85 pulgadas en la sala, les comparto mi experiencia desde un punto de vista técnico pero aplicado al día a día con mi familia. Estábamos buscando dar el salto a un formato gigante sin gastar lo que cuesta una OLED, y este modelo cumplió bastante bien. Lo primero que te vuela la cabeza es el tamaño de la pantalla. Ver películas animadas con los niños en este panel es otra cosa; los colores se ven supervivos y llamativos gracias a su tecnología PurColor. El mérito técnico se lo lleva el Procesador Crystal 4K, ya que muchas de las series viejas que vemos o los videos de YouTube que ponen mis hijos no están en la mejor calidad, y la televisión hace un gran trabajo de escalado (upscaling) para que las texturas no se vean borrosas en un tamaño tan enorme. El diseño AirSlim es un acierto total. Al ser tan delgada, la colgamos en la pared de la sala y no estorba nada, además de que el marco casi invisible hace que toda la atención se quede en la imagen. Para los domingos de fútbol o cuando nos sentamos juntos a ver series en plataformas de streaming, el sistema Tizen OS es una maravilla por su fluidez: es rápido, intuitivo y no se traba cuando pasamos de Netflix a Disney+. ¿El único detalle técnico a considerar? El contraste en habitaciones completamente oscuras. Como es un panel de gama media, los negros profundos a veces se tornan un poco grisáceos en escenas muy oscuras. Sin embargo, para verla con las luces de la sala atenuadas o durante el día, su brillo es más que suficiente. En cuanto al audio, la función Q-Symphony nos salvó la vida. Le conectamos una barra de sonido Samsung y, en lugar de anular los altavoces de la televisión, ahora ambos sistemas suenan al mismo tiempo, logrando que las películas de acción se escuchen potentes y envolventes en toda la estancia.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting Started: The TV was incredibly easy to setup; I was able to physically remove the unit from the box solo. Logging into streaming platforms was easy and intuitive as well, especially if you already have a Samsung account which saves all your app logins from one Samsung TV to the next. Design and Build: As an affordable model, this TV impressed me greatly. The bezel is small and accentuates the excellent picture quality. It’s not ultra thin, but I think this is a plus as it feels less fragile when moving. The legs mounts were easy to install and despite their small form factor, feel sturdy and reliable. The remote control is small and bare bones, but functional albeit a tad unresponsive at certain angles. Picture & Sound: This TV features beautiful video quality and HDR functionality, with vibrant colors and excellent contrast. Sound is good, but would certainly be enhanced with a sound bar or speaker system. Smart TV Features: There’s lots to love here. As a gamer, the Motion Xcelerator system helps enhance the refresh rate to create a smooth gaming experience. The TV also features a game mode which improves the responsiveness even more. The built in voice assistant (tested Bixby) is reliable and works well paired with a Samsung branded phone. The inclusion of Samsung Knox security is a nice addition too, and assists with protection from unauthorized apps and/or security threats which most of us don’t even think about in regards to a TV, so a definite nice touch there. Taken together with the ease of logging into apps, both bluetooth and wifi capabilities, it truly is a versatile device and could easily be used as a living room TV or even a computer monitor. Overall Experience: This TV rocks! The look, feel, and setup are top tier at this price point with noticeably good gaming performance and an excellent overall value. The weak spot is definitely the remote control, but it’s not a deal-breaker whatsoever. I highly recommend this TV.

Good picture and sound. Easy to set up. Now the annoying bits. Have to download "smart things" app and connect to work with Alexa! Has built in voice recognition "but Bixby" but unable to use because smart remote sent with set has no microphone! Cheapskates. Also had real pain connecting my pc. It reset my display to multiple monitors which stopped apps opening. Took days to track down problem and fix. Apps on screen ok but take a while to get used to. Overall good replacement for my last TV that died.

Setting up the TV is proving to be quite frustrating, even though I've been part of the Samsung ecosystem for almost 2 decades. I don't like the remote either; call me old fashioned, but I love remotes that still have numbers on them. Shipping was also confusing; thankfully got items on time, but shipping details did not match what was on Samsung website or app. I did appreciate that the TV was able to connect to my phone quickly; the Smart things aspect seems to be responsive as well.

What i really like is the SmartThings / Bixby integration, works flawlessly .surprisingly it even has some functionality with DirecTV with the mobile app. For me this is a bedroom tv so it's the perfect size. Highly recommend this tv to anyone in the market for this size tv

I was impressed how fast I was able to set it up once I just plugged it in as long as you have the app downloaded it will sync to our account and make it match any other Samsung TV you have They shrunk the remote from the ones with buttons but the old one works as well. It’s very responsive, and that user interface still feels friendly and familiar.

The screen is so clear nd full of vibrant colors also the sound is really good better then other tv. I have a Bluetooth speaker and it connected fairly easy but the tv speakers has good sound. I enjoy the free shows and movies it comes with overall very satisfied with this tv.

Hi. We just bought this TV about three weeks ago and so far are quite happy with it. Picture is great and there's a lot of options that go along with it. My only complaint is the remote control . It is too small and it does not light up in the dark. That's a hassle and I will probably have to replace it with a generic one . Aside from that, we are very happy with the TV so far.

When I switch on one tv it also turns on the other or will change channels on the other tv. It appears other customers have experienced this too.This is disappointing and I regret purchasing two Samsung tv’s.
