Great Ultra big tablet with a beautiful display and impressive software feature set. I think Samsung is the new Apple in regard to innovation and work hard keep your loyalty. Very happy with my purchase and Samsung's support when I've needed it. I do wish there was an option to turn off some of the edge pixels from accidental touches given the super thin bezels. The Dex feature makes this tablet the best 2-in-1, and the reason why Samsung is the king of innovation now that Apple is so cautious it's boring. Way to go Samsung! So many features I could write a small book and spend a fulltime job learning. Thank you for reading my humble review.

I use this tablet every single day from my drive to work to my workout return in the evenit is my primary radio in my truck when I drive. To work and I use it at night on the treadmill when I'm running to watch videos check stocks YouTube battery life last a very very long time. The screen is beautiful and the processor is super fast. I can do multiple things at once have multiple windows open. It's just all around a great device and I would recommend it to anybody. Who is? Looking. To get a tablet that works better than a laptop or a desktop computer and the integration between my phone and my tablet and my buds you can't. Beat it.

I needed a larger tablet and went for this bad boy. The S9 Ultra is the same with more tricks, but I am not that tech savvy, so I saved it with an older model. It has only been a month. I bought a case and a glass screen protector. The case is the rugged kind with the rotating stand/ handle, and it is sufficient. I also ordered a keyboard, but you don't need it because the screen gives an almost full-size keyboard. It's crisp, clear, and light. I used the pen for selecting stuff, not drawing, so I can't speak to that, but so far, so good. Gaurd, the power cable with your life, that is lightning charging. The off market Cabell is slow going.

The largest tablet I've ever owned, and the View on this thing is amazing with great hardware powering the screen. I've never been one to use a tablet for work related things, but the performance of this model and the amount of ram loaded in it make everything smooth as butter. If your looking to watch videos from any platform this thing ensures you will enjoy watching. Plenty of accessories to go along with it as well and anything Bluetooth works with it. The price is hefty for this and the higher end model, you get what you pay for and the trade in option and sales they have help get this into the hands of folks wanting The best!

I have worked in I.T. a long time and have owned / used many tablets in my time. This tablet is head and shoulders above any others I have encountered. The display is crisp and clear as well as responsive and accurate. The processing power can handle anything I throw at it, with no signs of overheating or slowdowns. Samsung listened to their customers, time after time, perfecting this line over time and have reached a level other competitors can only dream of. This is a purchase I have felt good about since day one and I don't see that view changing anytime in the future. Don't hesitate to make the same decision I did and choose this tablet as your own!

As a artist working in entertainment, I use this Samsung Galaxy tab s8 Ultra in helping me explore new ideas on the go. I draw and paint with Clip studio paint for a near perfect desktop alterative. I also use Nomad Scultp for 3D sculpting. A lot of power in a small device. I have this with me when im doign laundry so I can sit and sketch for what I think is the best drawing experience outside of a desktop. While we travel I use this and its large screen and excellent speakers to stream videos and music for me and my wife. I love this so much that I gave my wife my iPad pro and Apple pencil 2. She is now thinking of jumping on the Samsung tab family too.

This is the most complete tablet experience I have ever had. I got my tablet start with the Galaxy Note 10.1, then was tablet free for years having used a Pixelbook for about 5-6 years. I needed something more ecosystem focused and seamless so I bought the Tablet S7+...that was a great tablet, but I replaced my laptop and S7+ with the S8 Ultra. I have never used a tablet as much as I do with this. The integration of the S-Pen, the ability for the tablet to switch into DeX, the seamless copy/paste from phone to tablet and back again...it's just fantastic.
I do not see myself upgrading to the S9...This is absolutely a keeper.

This thing is a powerhouse!
It is capable to replacing your PC/Laptop (to a certain degree when you add a keyboard to it).
It's multitasking capability is incredible. Split screen in it's massive screen is so easy and cool. It's perfect to content consumption, colors pop and black is reaaaaally black, it's amazing all around.
Only downside is that is WAY too expensive for the same processor you will get in a Galaxy S22. If you compare it to iPad Pro and their M1/M2 processors, its ridiculously unfair of a comparison.
Considering the price point, it should come AT LEAST with a cover (like it is done on the S6 series)

I am an active Classical and Jazz musician and music teacher with failing eye sight. A year ago I started reprinting my charts on Legal size paper. I hoped there would be a tablet coming out that would have a screen large enough to use on gigs instead of carrying binders of printed music. I was thrilled to hear about the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and put myself on a list so I could be one of the first to pick it up. The S8 Ultra is perfect; the aspect ration is almost exactly the s same as 81/2 X 14. The lighting is perfect and with MobileSheets and iRigTurn I have my entire repertoire at my fingertips (or toes). Thank you Samsung.

Infact this thing is better than most laptops I have had.
Can you get a more powerful laptop ? Sure ... but this thing is plenty powerful. I got the version with 16g of ram ... it games like you would not believe, is extremely light and thin and the screen is so beautiful 😍 and has virtually no bezel.
I honestly can not think of a single complaint and if you have all samsung stuff it works amazingly with it all. I get all my phone messages and everything on it and I seamlessly display things on my TV or any monitor really. I can even use it as a second display if I need one.

I have owned multiple laptops, monitors, tablets, TVs, you name it. The S8 Ultra has the best screen I have ever used. When it comes to personal entertainment, I highly doubt there is anything that could beat it. For productivity, with Samsung Dex and Android tablet optimized multitasking features, coupled with this massive beautiful display, there is nothing that can beat this device when it comes to android.
If you do not require OS specific applications, you can do 99% of computing with this device. I, for instance, need to photo and video edit professionally, and for that I need a PC. But other than literally those 2 things I do everything else with this device.

I've never purchased a tablet at this price. I went for the fully loaded Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra with Highest CPU, Memory and Storage.
I also purchased the S8 Ultra Keyboard which is a must have for the tablet.
I received if as a gift last Christmas from my wife. And for all that use it for - This Tablet delivers! I've never had issues with crashing app, lag. The Smart Pen definitely works flawlessly compared to my HP laptop pen. And I love that the pen holds magnetically to the tablet as it charges.
For as much as it cost - I know that this tablet while remain relevant for many years, to the standards of the ever increasing growth of technology. Totally worth the price.

I absolutely love this tablet. I was previously using an iPad 12.9 pro, Mini LED; however, the multi-tasking limitations had me searching for an alternative. Enter the 14.6" Ultra. This thing is amazing. The screen real estate and multi-tasking features are unbeatible. The fact that I can open three windows as well as pop up windows and handle any task needed is amazing. In addition, the DEX feature, which turns your tablet into a desktop is extremely helpful in accomplishing task outside of the normal tablet use. All that wih being able to unplug, kick back on the couch and watch some shows or play some games. This is now the device I use for everything. Highly recommend.

Had this the S8 Ultra for about a week now and all I can say is wow! There are pluses and minuses when you compare android over iPad tablets but hands down this is by far the most innovative and useful tablet for a long time!
Battery life is amazing. I didn’t purchase the keyboard and considering either buying Samsungs or buying another Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. One thing that will blow you away is the speakers! I have hearing issues and this is by far the best tablet speakers I’ve experienced.
The only thing that can take getting used to is typing on the ultra but with some practice and getting the right keyboard and it will not be a issue for long.

This tablet is replacing an older Samsung table that I used daily for 10 years. The old one still has a lot of life left, but this new one blows my mind. The screen is huge, and the colors are so vibrant. The hard drive is plenty big for my needs (and then some). It has more than enough memory, and the stylus is a bit addictive. I never used the stylus with my older tablet, but I just love my stylus with this new tablet. Long battery life, and the pink gold color is just beautiful. I will be using this tablet daily going forward. It's my new obsession. My television and cell phone are both Samsung products, and I appreciate how easy this new tablet works with them seamlessly.

I have gone from the Tab S6 to the Tab S7+, and now to the Tab S8 Ultra. I have been more than satisfied with every Samsung tablet I have used. The Tab S6 to S7+ was a huge upgrade, but when the S8 Ultra was released I was more hesitant to upgrade since the performance scores were somewhat similar. I finally made the choice to preorder the S8 Ultra and I do not regret it at all. The display is almost unreal, and I haven't used my standard PC for the entire time I've had this tablet. The products from Samsung never disappoint, and also the customer support/trade-in services are remarkable. 10/10 recommend

So, I ordered this Tablet early February and couldn't wait to receive it. When I finally did, I was underwhelmed. I have an S7 and was wowed by it's size and display. I was just looking for the next great thing. Well, this isn't it. It takes two hands to hold, the display just is underwhelming in crispness, the in my order included case is a total joke (doesn't hold together well, only magnetic connect) wouldn't protect it from anything substantial, and the keyboard has a hollow action feel, just not great to type on. I've been using a Bluetooth keyboard when needed on the S7 and it's great. This Samsung option is terribly designed, and poorly executed.
If you've got an S7, keep it!

I previously had the s6 lite and loved it. Unfortunately I dropped it and shattered the screen. As I was already considering the s8 ultra, I figured that was my sign. I love almost everything about it. The size is my only drawback, making it a bit less portable than I was used to and needed. But I have gotten used to it quickly. I am always on the go, it moves with me pretty flawlessly, it connects automatically to my phones Hotspot. The picture display is absolutely gorgeous. The split screen capability and processing speed is great for multitasking and getting things done quickly. I just love it!

I bought this product for business traveling and personal use.
This product is a better than a laptop I have.
100% recommend to use this with multitasking and to connect to TV without any cord. This will change your life only if you know how to use samsung product correctly.
Besides, I use this table gaming at home while I'm watching drama at home.
Only thing I wish it to have this comes out with SD card slot. So I can store more files.
128gbs isn't enough for sure if you are using Bluetooth model only.
But overall, this table beats.

I bought this tablet within a couple days of its release along with the S22 Ultra. This tablet is a full blow PC when used in Dex mode and is incredible in the normal tablet mode. So your getting a PC and tablet in once essentially. It is very large, maybe too big for some but I love it and watching movies/TV and playing games on it is absolutely stunning due to the large screen and the resolution and power behind this tablet. If you have xbox game pass ultimate or steam link etc. and play cloud/streaming games this tablet excels at it because it's super fast, responsive and the screen makes it a portable TV basically. Definitely needs the keyboard cover/case to reach its max potential.

I always upgrade my Samsung tablet every couple of years for more Ram and storage space. I play roblox on my S8 ultra and it's runs well during any game I play. I also watch shows on Netflix and other apps and I usually have no issues. Sometimes on Netflix it doesn't continue to play episode after episode but it could be Netflix. Also with Netflix, I cannot download any movie or show onto the SD card with the S8 Ultra. My Samsung Note will download Netflix to the SD card so I don't know if it's something with Samsung or my Netflix account. I love the big screen and the light weight of the tablet.

This tablet helps me so much when it comes to work because it doubles as a second monitor with the Second Screen option. It really came in the clutch when my monitor went out on me. Entertainment is bar none the best on this. I watch 90% of my movies, anime, shows on this thing. The gaming that I do with this beast is Game Pass and it's worth it. The speakers are really impressive too. I use this as my home speaker. My only caveat is that I wish there was a better Samsung keyboard cover that has a better hinge. That way if it's on your lap it's not wobbly. Beyond that I love this machine.

I've had a few tablets over the years, but this is by far the best one I have used. This is the first one that has included a stylus. The thought of using a stylus with a tablet was never really something that I thought I would like.. but I must say, I love it. The stylus is so comfortable to hold and it just glides across the screen effortlessly.
The brightness and colors are epic on this thing. Having such a great time with all the drawing and coloring apps. Most of my time is spent playing Diablo Immortal. This tablet runs it flawlessly. No complaints here - I highly recommend this tablet!

I use my Samsung Tab S8 Ultra to Stream Videos and Watching movies the Screen is One of the most vibrant and wide displays I have ever used on a tablet and I don't want to go back . Not to mention the 120hz screen is fast and smooth and pairs really well with the included Pen that makes notes feel like I'm writing on paper . The Tablet feels Premium even though it is super light and thin not only that while the Cameras aren't Samsung smartphone quality the cameras still fo there job and put out high quality photos . Overall the Tab S8 Ultra is the Best Tablet I have ever owned and puts all the other tablets I have used to shame I hope to see more Premium products like this in the near future

I got this galaxy tab S8 ultra a month ago and I love it! It has amazing features and apps. My favorite feature is the multi tasking screen. It has made my job easy when it comes to doing assignments. You can open as many tabs as you need. Another one would be the PENUP app. Omg it takes away my anxiety coz I just click on the app take my s pen and color any drawing I want and it just relaxing for me. I love my tablet so much and it’s like a mini flat screen I use it to watch movies and show. Wait! Not to mention Samsung has Samsung tv plus app for free! I watch any shows, sports and news anytime and anywhere. This galaxy tab s8 ultra is next level yall. Y’all should definitely check it out

I use this tablet for games and movies, it's amazing on movies not so much on games depending what you are playing. Other than that it's great battery last a long time, oh and the speakers are really good too. I was thinking about trying some drawing apps but I can't find any im interested in, if I could find some this tablet would be good for it. I would like to point out I got the 16gb of ram version with 512gb of memory and it has a feature that can give it a extra 8gb of ram based off the available storage. I think Samsung should advertise this more because that is a really good feature.

This tablet is the perfect size. I wanted to upgrade from my 7” tablet and this 12.4” screen is an amazing upgrade. The screen is crisp, vibrant, and clear. This tablet is very slim, and lightweight. The battery lasts for many hours of continuous use, and charged quickly. There are cameras on the front and back. Both of these cameras are excellent and take wide screen pictures. It does come with the S-pen. The pen magnetically attaches to the back of the tablet, to charge and store. The multi screen feature is a lifesaver, I can video call while making a grocery list and taking notes. This tablet has so many great features that I am continually learning about. I am a beyond satisfied customer!

My wife and I originally got this for house hunting, multiple apps allow us to pull up a large map and zero into areas we were interested in. Once we got to the spot we could take pictures and with the handy s-pen we could edit in or out features that we liked or disliked. Being able to meet with others while out and about through the plethora of apps made it a dream. When we met in person the ease of seamlessly showing our work on another Samsung device like a TV made it easy to do so in comfort for all of us. Thank you Samsung for making devices that work together to make life easier.

I have had my tab s8 ultra for almost a month, upgrading from a tab s7+ amd a tab s6 before that. They keep getting better.
I use my tablet with a keyboard often for emails and other light task work that i want to do when at a cafe, bar, outside, etc. Its been super convenient.
The screen is absolutely beautiful, the surround sound from a tablet is absolutely amazing, it does a great job considering its size. While traveling recently it was great to watch media in my hotel room.
Integrated with the Samsung ecosystem (phone, watch, buds) this has been an absolute pleasure to use.

This tablet has a massive 14" display that would seem to be uncomfortable to work with, but due to the extremely thin design it is incredibly light and practical.
I used to think tablets were unnecessary but now I've done my best to replace my laptop with this thing, and I have absolutely zero regrets. With the Android 12L update, multitasking is so fast and effortless that it really excels in ways other tablets just don't.
The S Pen experience is silky smooth and stacks up against incredibly high end art digital tablets, with the beautiful screen colors and brightness to boot!

I first moved from an ipad to a Samsung tablet with the S7+, and even though there was an adjustment phase, I REALLY liked it! I prefer android vs iOS and when the S8 Ultra came out, there was finally an Android option that could compete with a larger iPad in regards to size.
Specs vary a lot, but I'll just tell you I've NEVER run into an issue while using apps, games, etc in regards to crashes, poor speed etc. The only downside would be not all apps are available or designed for this tablet or layout.
Battery is pretty solid, perhaps standby might be a bit behind other OS, but usage and normal day to day is pretty great.
The size and lack of case options were the biggest changes I had to adjust to.

I was an avid IPhone 13 coupled with an iPad kind of guy however after some time it became sterile and small. So I opted to move to a zfold and an ultra! This gives me a huge mobile footprint for efficiency and versatility. I work as a quality and Education Coordinator for an emergency medical service network in New England. This set up empowers me to move from clinical site to clinical site moving my office with me! Dex and second screen at the actual office and the proprietary folio spen and paired zfold screen while out and about! And switching was super easy with smart switch!

I use my tablet for gaming, streaming, and web browsing. I have never had any issues with lag or with games having performance issues. I run all of my games at optimum performance and it doesn't phase my tablet one bit. I highly recomend the S8 ultra. The only reason I took away 1 star is due to the pen not having any practical storage options. There are cases that store your pen but none that keep the slim profile and can charge the pen at the same time. However, even the pen is only a minor inconvenience. I would have only taken off a 1/2 star if that would have been an option.

One of my best purchases! Loved it so much i had 2 get a second one for hubby. He always had mine!!! He uses it for social media, i use it as a second screen with my samsung book2 pro laptop. I love starting a project on 1 device then quickly & instantly switch to another samsung product to finish with ease. Tablet is great size, great pictures, and no issues thus far. I will have this one for awhile. I receive compliments and questions everytime im in public with it. So far i have nothing negative to say about this tablet. bought this right when it came out, i upgraded form a tab s7+, which i also loved, and this tablet is an incredible improvement on an already incredible product, multitasking is effortless, watching tv or playing games on the giant screen looks gorgeous, and the s pen has to be the best quality digital pencil ive ever used its so fluid and has virtually no input delay. the keyboard accessory is also a huge improvement over the s7+, the backlight is great, the newly added app shortcut keys are convenient and the changes to DEX mode make multitasking that much easier. 10/10

The Galaxy S8 Ultra is an amazing tablet the only thing that holds it back I feel is that it needs to have the ability to integrate with windows OS this would put it more than above all other tablets with its speedy processor and great amount of memory and hard drive space it has amazing processing power and with the stylus integration it's just a amazing tool for a business platform or a schooling one the integration along with the entertwining of Dex this tablet would be next level and the most enjoyable feature is the 3-way split screen I use it mounted in my vehicle

I have been buying iPads specifically the pro model since Apple launched the pro line up in 2015. I was very impressed with everything introduced until 2022. The iPad pro 6th generation was a a very big let down. Apple doesn't innovative and is usually late the party regarding new features. This year I decided to try the samsung galaxy tab s8 ultra. The huge 14 inch screen and admittedly oled technology made me the jump. Overall coming from iPadOS to Android was very easy for me, and I love how very customizable android is. I'm very glad I purchased the tab s8 ultra.

This Device is legendary! Oh my goodness how much can I say about this Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra! I have had Samsung ALL OF MY LIFE! nlNever switched once and I never needed too! And when I got this Tablet the first thing that was outstanding was the quality display, long lasting battery life, camera display, and how much I LOVED IT! I've been using this tablet for months now and i've been loving it more than my previews tablet which was s7+. This tablet as a bigger screen and better pen latency than s7+ it's almost like your using an actual computer drawing tablet except it's portable and can operate on it's own and you can use it anywhere you want too. Which is great! Also it's very good at watching movies and using it as a second screen for computer or using samsung DeX making it like an actual computer. I would prefer it to any artist that's looking for a portable stand alone drawing tablet!

I love my Samsung Galaxy S8 Ultra Tab. I use it to browse quite a lot and draw a few pictures whenever I want.
The pen is awesome and absolutely flawless with virtually no delay in time when used.
Also, I watch YouTube videos and movies on my tab, its diaplay is the best I have ever seen for any tablet ever. It has absolutely beautiful colors and great brightness and contrast that makes it a wonderful experience each time.
Sometimes, I do use the Dex mode and trust me that it moves seamlessly from tablet to laptop mode. Can anything even come close to it? I simply enjoy having my laptop while traveling without having to carry one.
Life is so simple and full of colors and great videos with my new friend, my S8 Ultra!

There are so many things i can do with the s8 ultra, it has become my go to device for nearly everything. Whether it be playing xbox games on gamepass, streaming youtubbe and movies, or getting some hard work done. THe S8 ultra is more than up to the tast of whatever you throw at it. It has all the power you need and then some, with an absolutely gorgoes screen and ever excellent spen performance and features. Add in the keyboard case and this is simply and unbeatable combination. Samsung simply makes the best tablets hands down, and the OS is fantastic as well.

I use my tablet for many reasons. Work, personal and life. I enjoy using only samsung products due to the ability of getting everything needed first. We samsung users who are dedicated enjoy flawless technology and not secondary. Wether you need it for work creating a great presentation, using it for streaming videos and music, downloading files, school work or just everyday web surfing just cant beat having a trusty samsung tablet or device. I will never use anything other than samsung. I have TV, appliances, tablets, phones, gear and so on. I am 100% pro samsung. I have litterally made 10 friends switch from apple phones and tablets to samsung. They are very happy with the switch. But hey its samsung who wouldnt be happy.

I have been an ipad pro user for many years and waited for the software to catch up to the hardware.
Finally made the switch and I can say I don't miss my iPad at all. The large wide screen is amazing for streaming consumption. The OLED display is beautiful. Sound is great and the keyboard and included S pen feels better than the apple pencil for sure.
I literally traded my iPad in sold my apple keyboard and pencil and got this updated S8 Ultra for free.
Cameras are great. Fast, love the ability to use Dex. Really makes the iPad iOS seem so dated.

Where do I start? Let's begin by saying that this tablet has an amazing 14.6 Inch display that shows very accurate colors for my video and image editing! This tablet amazes with its preformance in games too when I'm on the lunch break or just enjoying my late evening on my couch after work, or If I am too tired I go to bed and play a movie or some awesome TV show... But I don't want to forget to mention one of the best features, SOUND and the SPen. The speakers during the movie are astonishing sounding and absolutely beautiful spatial audio... SPen in the box might be my most used feature throughout the day, as I mentioned, I do image editing and it's pressure sensor never dissapoints! All in all this tablet is a game changer!

This tablet is very nice looking, the screen colors look nice, the battery life is pretty good overall.
The tablet is expensive, the screen could honestly get brighter to suit more use cases, the UI is a big improvement from past Android tablets but the user experience is overall very frustrating. The exorbitantly priced keyboard/trackpad is often unsuable and leads me to choose to not use the tablet at all. Using the S Pen is fun and seems to be fairly accurate but the device is too big and heavy to be a handy (take-everywhere) notes tool.
While there are positives to this tablet, I would never recommend it to anyone based on its extremely high cost and the fact that almost everything is easier to get done on a laptop.

I use it for everyday needs such as calendar for daily appointments. Alarm to wake up everyday. Watch TV on it when the wife is watching her shows I'm not interested in. Battery life is great! The only 2 negative issues I have is its a little heavy and they don't make a lap stand or floor stang big enough to hold it. So streaming TV shows is a little difficult holding it to be able to see it while sitting or laying in bed. The cloth ones that sit on your lap don't work well. They fall or can't adjust enough to see it well! Bit over all a great tablet.

I use my tablet for work, fun, and education. My young kids also play and watch videos. Needless to say, the tablet gets handled most of the day. This is the first tablet I've owned where I feel like I finally got my money's worth. I've had it now for over a year and the battery looks is still really good. I've never worried about the battery not lasting for the tasks I've performed. The screen size is bigger than the first tv I owned. Bluetooth works great and casting to other devices is super easy. Overall this is the best tablet Samsung has to offer.

I love all my Galaxy equipment. I haven't used it tons yet, but it's like having a giant phone. Beautiful image, runs fast. I have it paired with a keyboard in a case. I tried to play pubg with it, but the screen is just too lage for that. I love the s pen, I use it to write what I am searching for, it takes practice to be able to write correctly for it to get the letters right. I can just scribble notes on blank pages to get my own writing down. Drawing works well, I just can't get drawing with the pen very well. Transfers data between devices easily.

I've had this for a couple months now and it's still incredible to me. The display is beautiful and the amount of canvas I have to work on is perfect.
The few things I don't like: 1-the palm rejection when using the S-Pen leaves something to be desired. The same or similar apps on my iPad pro with apple pencil are streets ahead. 2-the bezels are almost too small. When trying to wrangle this hog with one or two hands, it's too easy to connect with an appendage you didn't want. A case with a stand is helpful. The type-cover case is not great though.

I've never had a piece of tech that has allowed me to do so much all in one space at any location I want... until now. The Galaxy tab s8 ultra has allowed me to be at my most creative point in my life giving me the ability to draw, paint, and even write with the all of the tools required to do so. The screen size is nice and large. It's extremely clear. I love being able to use the S-pen to handwrite notes and draw. The S-pen and screen are highly responsive and work smoothly together.
The tablet has tons of great features and can be used to watch videos, scroll the internet, draw pictures, take photos, etc.
I get tons of use from it. It's handy and efficient. I am very happy with it.
The processor is fast! I haven't had any lag.
Initial set-up was a breeze. Using it afterwards is just as easy. It's made to be user friendly and is fun to use.
This tablet has a perfect mix of practical functionality and fun, creative uses that seamlessly work. It makes my life easier and it is also fun to use.

It's my first tablet since iPad 1, I've used other products along the way, but Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the best I've used. Screen is large and pictures clear. I let my kids use the stylus to draw and they love it. Drawing is a breeze and writing notes on it is also very easy and fun. I also love how my phone and tablet are connected so when home, I don't need my phone anymore. Highly recommend! The only downside is the battery life as others have mentioned. This is an easy replacement for note-taking in class and at work. Love it so far!!

Where do I begin?... I initially purchased this tablet and specific model for work purposes. I am a teacher, so this tablet was the perfect size for all my work needs. I use all the Google features, as that is what is what is required at work. Working on my tablet everyday from work or home allows me to be proactive wherever I am. I also game on it every now and then, when I am free. Multi multitasking on it, has become a life saver with time management. Samsung has really done it, providing one of the best tablet experiences personally.

Really enjoying this new tablet, specifically the larger screen. My old eyes sometime have issues with smaller displays, fonts, etc. and this larger screen really makes the difference for me. BONUS is the keyboard cover that came with it during the pre-order and now I not only have a killer tablet with massive storage, incredible sound and stellar resolution, I have a fully functional portable device and can leave my laptop at home. Included stylus is super easy to use and with the keyboard, I've got no limits for usability. Super lightweight, kicking sound for streaming video, music and recorded voice, long battery life, Bluetooth connectivity for headsets/earbuds - AND it's got expandable storage - this will be my last tablet for some time.

Love my upgrade. Had the previous model and I can say what a difference. The battery life is great. Lasts at least three days of heavy use. Not only did it make videos clearer, but reading my books was easier. The ability to tone down the brightness without making it dark. Love it. Graphic novels come to life. The sensitivity of the pen is noticeable and the handwriting recognition is better. If the new one has this degree of upgrade then I'm thinking of the s9. Love the 14 plus inches, I'm grabbing this more than my laptop..

For how light the tablet itself is it packs a powerful punch. Taking a step above from the pervious model. The exciting thing is the screen the 14.6 inch screen makes multitasking seemless. The s8 tablet has been a definitive example of more screen, more productivity for me as multitasking rarely feels compromised, which can't be said for any other Samsung mobile device I've used in the past even though they all feature the same multitasking functions from a software perspective. When using 2 apps, full-sized apps, side by side cutting one of your sides and half to incorporate a third app is still plenty serviceable and bringing out additional apps in the small pop-up view fields a lot easier to use without having to do a lot of resizing or adjusting.

This is hands down the best tablet I've ever owned. Setting up was a breeze and navigating the device is really nice. It's super sleek and well-built. I primarily use my tablet for procreate, a design app, and it works flawlessly. Love the pen as it's super smooth. The screen is crystal clear quality and the size is perfect. I purchased this tablet back in February but it was on backorder due to high demand. I didn't receive it until April 7th but it was well worth the wait. I had the Tab S 7+ and I was so excited about upgrading because this tablet had all the features of my old tablet plus more(pun intended). I was blown away when it arrived. It felt extremely solid and looked amazing. It made my S 7+ look like a toy when I say them next to each other. I love the functionality, resolution, size and most of all the second screen option. I work from home and this allows me to be productive from anywhere in my house with second screen. Overall this is the best device that I have ever purchased. This was an upgrade from my Tab S7, and what an upgrade it was. The screen size is fantastic, the power is really great as well.
I use it for web browsing, movie device, remote desktop to my Windows PC, as a second monitor for my laptop as well as some gaming. From time to time I will attach the keyboard, but it's primarily a touch device for me.
It really does everything I need it to do, and the screen is beautiful. I get compliments on how massive the screen is. It takes a bit to get used to, but after that, it's all good!

I am a physician and use this device as my main computer.
It is a powerhouse with a beautiful screen and great portability. I use it to manage my patients ehr, use it to make ultrasound with my wireless probes, perform ekg tests with kardia devices, record sounds with my stethoscope.
Movies look amazing on the screen, great sound also.
The only thing that holds this device back is related to Android and it's optimization for apps in a screen this big, but overall is a great choice and my favorite Samsung device so far.

As an exchange from a Table S6, it is a GREAT improvement. Keyboard is perfect, alike using any keyboard but with additional features such as illumination and configured functional keys (APP1-APP3). Cover is MAGNETIC! Need no tape or else, remove when no needed. As a laptop replacement, I am NOT a MS Windows fan, perfecct replacemeent. For the size, lightweight. Great screen, HUGE! This tablet came in clutch for collegiate pursuits. I'm a student at UMHB and require electronics for various functions. This product, with the appropriate case, has endured traveling from building to building, from backpack to desk, from just about any where I use it going on more than 6 months now. There are some minor issues when I'm note taking on the touch-screen but I simply move around on-screen to avoid that space and continue on. I was already expecting a great tablet, but what I received far exceeded my expectations. This tablet is amazing.
The large 14 inch screen is crisp and clear, offering 4K resolution and super fast response times. I’ve been able to use this for graphic design and the user experience has been incredible.
The tablet is so thin that it almost concerns me, I wasn’t comfortable using it until I went out and purchased a case, but it is super light.
The pen included charges via magnets on the back of the device, and offers a mouse click capability.
As for FPS, the tablet performed better that 72% of tablets and phones tested, but maxed out under high stress at 20FPS (4K).
I’m very happy with this product and will be using it daily for work and pleasure.

I use my tablet many ways. For streaming my favorite shows. The picture is beautiful with the OLED screen. The colors are vibrant and the Dolby sounds makes the experience even better! I also like to web surf, check email and social media. The 120 Hz, Snapdragon chip make the scrolling fast and lag free. When I connect on zoom, Google meet and WhatsApp video calls the cameras and image looks amazing. When I use Dex mode, it's another amazing and fast experience. Love the tablet. I had tab s7+ which i traded for S8 ultra. I also have latest generation iPad Pro 12.9. In my opinion S8 ultra has better screen than iPad. I love watching YouTube and movies on it. Speakers are very good on both S8 and iPad. Where ipad shines is magic keyboard and apps. Samsungs keyboard is good for working on desk only you can not use it on you lap. I pad magic keyboard you can use anywhere you want. Also trackpad gesture’s on ipad are way better and more responsive. Most of the apps for ipad are made for it so apps are fit properly on ipad screen. Allot of android apps are not optimized for big screen or not available at all on tablets “signal” for example. Overall S8 ultra is a very good tablet that needs more love from app developers and better keyboard design.

I absolutely love this tablet, it's sleek and lightweight in your hands and the screen is large. It's really simple to get setup and start using. The s-pen is very responsive and accurate when using. I've used this tablet for everything from watching movies, checking emails and browsing the web, also with a drawing app and it works amazingly well with no buffering or lagging. The storage space is definitely one of my favorite parts of this. Ive already downloaded over 100 apps and still have plenty of space left over.

So let's be honest, there's always pluses and minuses with every product. This tablet though is an absolute beast. I use it for light gaming, for picture editing, a fair amount of emulation, and as a control hub for my house. The one downside to this thing is just how big it is which makes it a bit unwieldy. Just remember though that this isn't meant to compete with your regular iPad, but your pro models and with Dex, game changer btw, it can even be a really good chromebook. I'll never buy an Apple tablet again!

I've used the tablet more than I thought I would. Streaming the shows and movies is like having my personal theater. I don't even use my TV, just because the tablet is more convenient.
When playing games, it's crisp and smooth and having a large screen is really advantageous for many games that I play. Now for work, it's actually keeping up. Because it's a pseudo laptop, all my work is done efficiently and easy to do. I've owned previous galaxy tabs, this one legit reigns over the rest. Glad I purchased the S8.

i traded my tab s7+ for the tab s8 ultra mainly for the larger size (i wish it was a 17 inch tablet, but 14 inches will do for now)
the tablet is excellent in most ways except for the atrocious battery life that's just about as bad as that of the tab s7+.
it's otherwise been a pleasure to use. the s pen and its unmatched features as well as samsung note are invaluable.
imho this is clearly the best tablet on the market, samsung only needs to improve the battery life and consider a 17 inch version next year.

I've used this table for work, school, movies and video games. I've never put so much stress over this device in a year. Samsung dex works flawlessly for work. Basic school softwares works amazing as well with the backlit keyboard. Movies in 4K runs smoothley with no lag over 2-4 hrs. Xbox gamepass works amazing as well. I've realise it had saved me so much money, I've gotten rid of so many devices to replace with thi ALL IN ONE. Will most definitenly grab the new tab s9 ULTRA when avaliable. Thanks samsung!

The feature designs are some of the best that I've seen out there. High power and efficiency. The Dex features have been beefed up too so it actually feels closer to a laptop. Add a display and your basically running a computer slightly toned down. Overly display is pretty solid too with the full screen displays showing videos at maximum performance. Theist impressive feature though is jumping from feature to feature or having multiple windows open to work seamlessly. I would highly recommend this to anyone

I would have never been able to own a tablet this nice if I wasn't chosen to do this for an honest review. And I must say that I give this a 10/10. Just the screen, camera quality and color is mind blowing. I always wanted some type of tablet so that I could do high quality photos of my babies to cherish forever. With this tablet I can do that!
Galaxy Tab S8+ is great great home use or on on go as well. I would recommend buying a protective case since it's made very thin.
It's so fast and the large, 12.4" display is so impressive. Watching a movie has never been easier or more convenient!
You get the tablet, S pen (which is so cool), data link cable and quick start guide.
If you decide to give this a try you won't be disappointed. I have absolutely no issues at all.

I have now been working with the new Tab S8Ultra now for about a month and its a real game changer for me. When I am out and about on jobsites and need to view plans and possibly mark them up, this is the fastest way to do it. I previously had the S7+ and when I first started using that I thought it was possibly too big but after living with it for work, I saw the potential in having even a larger screen size. The writing experience is also notably better on this vs the S7 as well. Nice work Samsung!

Don't have a personal laptop but this tablet does 99% of the things I need it to do when compared to a laptop/computer. The best for media consumption, when flying I always catch people looking at my tablet when watching movies and always get compliments that this looks better than their iPad. If you're into digital art this is also great for drawing. Also use it as a notebook for work notes. Have used this pretty much everyday since I've gotten it over a year ago and haven't had any issues with it.

Well, I use my tablet to check my emails, shop, take at home selfies, playing games, or just plain online chatting..I stream a little, but what I especially love to do mostly on my tablet is stroll the picture gallery, I love the size and graphics of how my photos look. My second favorite is gaming, with the huge screen size I can see it really well. The sound is excellent! But I really really love the photo gallery, I love to see my photos on the seeensaver mode when charging..that's about it..

This tablet is huge. The display screen is larger than my laptop screen and i love it. I mostly use this tablet for leisure activities such as streaming movies and tv shows as well as playing games. Its a great size for video streaming as my wife and i watch movies in bed together and love the wide screen. The video quality is exceptional! Taking notes on this tablet has a paper and pencil feel with the Ultra pen that comes with the tablet. When writing there is a consistency and feel of paper and not as if you are writing on a glass screen. This is an additional tablet to other tablets by other brands that are in my home and has easily became the family favorite tablet. I have not one bad thing to say about this tablet. EVERYONE should own one and experience what the ULTRA has to offer.

I've had my S8 Ultra for about 5 months now and it has not been a disappointment. This is my first android tablet; I had originally planned to get the S8+ but am so glad I decided to "go big or go home" in this regard. This has just about replaced my laptop for daily activities including work such as doing Zoom meetings and taking notes. Performance has certainly been off the charts no matter how much I throw at it. I have no regrets and am looking forward to the next big thing they have to offer.

I mainly use specific apps on my S8 Ultra Tablet. The huge screen size is great as a visual. However, it seems that many apps are not very compatible with this size tablet. So the app will look much smaller on the tablet screen. I have found that there aren't many options for propping up this tablet to use vertically. It seems to work best when I'm just browsing online. Even with this negative feedback, I love this tablet due to its size, speed and memory. Definitely a great product worth buying!

I've had this Tab 8 Ultra since it's release last month. The screen is amazing and produces vivid colors. The updated Android software works very well, though there are apps that need more developing to make the experience nicer, but I blame that on the developers not optimizing apps for the Android tablets.
The initial setup went easy; remember to backup your old tablet, as this helps tremendously with the new set up. Dev X makes the Android experience much like using a Windows computer.
The Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra Book Cover Keyboard is a great accessories and I don't think I would own the tablet without it. Be forewarned, it's pretty expensive fora keyboard cover.
I enjoy that this tablet does not have a huge learning curve and most people should be productive as soon as it is set up.

Love this tablet. I had the S7 plus and really thought the S8 Ultra might be too big and I don't regret the upgrade at all. It definitely is a large tablet and you can not use it the same way you could the S7+ with one hand. ideally I wish I could have both but since I use mine more for media and gaming the larger screen is well worth it. If you want to more of a one hand I would not get the Ultra. As for performance I play apex and other game with no issues and the screen is amazing with plenty of brightness. I did get the book cover keyboard and its nice but I usually bluetooth it with a smaller keyboard and that works great as well. I will say its not a direct replacement for a laptop but if you not doing too much heavy lifting it can do just about anything you might need. Hope this helps.

Love the tablet size, resolution and fast apps. Had reservations about the weight and after using for little over a month, can say it is pretty good overall.
Typing on attached Keyboard is very good. Using the pen (not that much) and for its use for taking notes and occasional drawing, sees to work very well.
Couple of things to remeber, keyboard magnets hold pretty well but should not risk holding by keyboard. When using as a true laptop felt backstand could have been little more stronger.

I upgraded from a Tab 7 Plus and at first the size seemed huge. After a day this is the perfect sized tablet for me. With the keyboard case and DEX this has replaced my laptop. I used my laptop for web browsing, email, and MS Office and the Tab S8 Ultra does all this and more. The screen is excellent for streaming movies and shows. The speakers sound great and are very loud. The Dolby Atmos setting adds incredible depth to the sound. This is by far the best Android tablet on the market.

I bought this tablet to replace my S6 Lite, because I wanted a larger screen for videos, video calls, etc. I linked my S8 Ultra to my other Samsung devices and I've been using it for almost everything. I haven't been on my laptop for weeks because of it. The pre-loaded apps, coupled with what I've downloaded, makes it so I don't need a laptop or desktop. It's not too big to come with me when I go out for the day, but it IS big enough to make viewing and editing photos and videos a delight.

I used this tablet most of the time for entertainment, watching movies, YouTube videos or anime series. But also I used for study, the Aplicación Samsung notes and the Samsung pen help me to have all my annotations in one place as I was writing in a notebook, is a really good device to take note an read books. The only problem that I get is the limited Adobe apps compatibility, I think that is time to work with the or made something similar to them. But in the rest is an excellent tablet.

In my 4th week with this beast.
The good: videos, graphics, multiple screen usage , S pen smoothness , comparable app opening speed to iPad ,speakers , rocker controls, SD card access, thin flexible screen, Samsung standing protective cover very well designed. Have not worked with Samsung connected keyboard as of this review.
Where the Ultra is lacking in comparison to iPad:
screen touch sensitivity, fingerprint reader, some software choices

Overall verdict ,so far so good, hated to lose Apple News (magazines subscription plan ) , good news Zinio app allows individual mag purchase that equals out. Magazine viewing with the Ultra's screen is so crisp and clean. Gaming has been a treat ,specifically Microsoft Flight Simulator , after a few minutes it will become your favorite game.

I pre-ordered the S8 Ultra the day it launched. I was SO excited to receive it and it was amazing! I has no complaints and had I written this two months ago it would have gotten five stars. The cable that comes with it is usb-c to usb-c, which I don't have an AC adapter for. So I used my phone charger until I could get my hands on the appropriate charger block. Now it doesn't charge. If I plug it in, it will flash the green charge ring and immediately stop charging. It takes 15 hours to charge (IF I can actually get it to charge that long. Spoiler Alert: it charged for 6 hours and now I cant get it over 46%) I've tried different cables, different blocks, I even got the usb-c block and tried the cable that came with it. Nothing works. It's nothing more than a paperweight right now. A waste of money.

I bought this tablet a few months ago. I actually order the 256g version but was sent the 128g. But I can't say anything bad about it. The only complaint or question I have is samsung going to give this amazing device carrier asebility? That is the only draw back to this beautiful device. Please samsung look into making this Device sim card capable. This will make this device the leading tablet in the industry. In my opinion this will make the tab s8 ultra hands down a 5 star product.

I've had a few tablets over the years and this S8 Ultra is as close to perfect as I could hope for. Battery life is just amazing. Screen is beautiful and gets very bright. Sound is awesome as well, with great stereo effects. If I had to find one thing to complain about, it would be the pen storage. I lost one in a cruise terminal within 2 weeks of getting the tablet. The magnetic keeper is okay, but if they could store then pen like on the Galaxy phones, I would love that.

I have used many different tablets over the years and this one is top notch! The design has a bigger screen 14.6 inches and less border so you get a great picture that is very clear! I love all the functions of the S pen being able to screen write, color, and use as a normal stylus. I also love that it comes with a data cable for easy transfer of documents and things to my laptop. It is very easy to set with a Samsung account. Charging is very fast and mine lasted for 24 hours before needing recharged. The only downfall is that it is wifi capable only and I can't add a Hotspot or anything to it. The 128 gb is more than enough space for all my pictures, videos, apps, and work documents. Cases and screen protectors are sold separately and not included with the tablet. The sound is also very crisp and clear.

I've had this tablet a little over a week now and I was a little worried about the size to be honest but those fears have all gone away. It is a massive tablet with a beautiful screen but doesn't feel to big in the hands or uncomfortable to use for a long time because it's so light and thin. Even my wife who doesn't like the bigger phones has no issues using it. The UI is just like using your Samsung phone the the size makes it feel like a laptop, really the best of both worlds.

Ok so i bought one for myself and thought it would would be a nice portable gaming device other than my phone. Boy was I surprised. I now use this like a PC laptop. It does everything and then some/ I even bought a second one for my mom and she loves it. The size is a bit much and can get cumbersome but I will gladly deal with that for all the features and perks that came with this thing. And the fact that I can link tablet phone pc and tv together....MIND BLOWN!!!!!!!!!!

This tablet replaced a 7+ that used to feel like a sizable tablet. Not anymore. My wife still has her S7+ and it seems like a baby next to this thing. The screen is gorgeous and the batter life is better than expected for the screen size. Is it the first tablet I would pull out on an economy seat on a plane? No, it's heavy and tough to hold up for long periods of time. Is it the tablet I prefer to consume media in and around my house, yes, absolutely! Plot this puppy on a desk and kick back and relax. I use it to mirror games from my PC and it allows me to turn any desk or counter into a workable gaming station. The included pen feel great for notes and my toddler loves coloring on it. Over all great experience so long as your not looking for something light and mobile for reading on the bus, train or plane.

I've been an Apple user for years, but this year I switched to the S23 Ultra and S8 Ultra. I'm pleasantly surprised by how seamlessly these devices work together; it's truly amazing what Samsung has achieved, from outstanding battery life to a sharp display that allows you to multitask effortlessly. I think I'll be sticking with Samsung for years to come. My only complaint would be that they should support their tablets for a longer duration, honestly, more than just 4 years.

Thanks to the massive 14 inch screen this has become my go to device for reviewing and editing photos during my travels. The S-pen makes it easy to do accurate detail work. Using the USB-C port with a small hub i am able to back up images from my SD cards to a thumb drive. The system is very responsive allowing me to quickly review hundreds of pictures. Being able to punch, zoom and scroll around each one to check for sharpness and focus is much faster than using a laptop.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this, I am not used to using anything other than a laptop or my personal cell, which is also Samsung. This tablet is so sleek and the pen included really makes a huge difference. I didn't believe it would, but I use my pen everytime I use it. Even if it's just to scroll! The sound on here is also pretty nice! It gets super loud and does not have that static like some do if they are up to loud. The battery life is nice! Normal really. It keeps a good charge. I would recommend a case and screen protector just for the extra protection. I have a Samsung galaxy phone and this tablet, even with size has handled being dropped a few times with no cracks or visible damage! It's very sturdy and reliable! I would recommend to anyone looking for something lighter and a little different!

What I've come to appreciate about this tablet is not just the speed but the ease and convenience for a multitasking as I almost always be doing.
Being able to respond to work emails, run zoom meetings, taking notes of said meetings and catching up on YouTube vids is just fascinating and I couldn't be more happier.
Then for my personal times, I can read and updating my personal studies.
It's overall a brilliant, smart and effective tablet and I recommend it for all.
