Supported models and requirements
To use AI Football Mode on your Samsung Smart TV, the following conditions must be met.
- AI Football Mode Pro : QN990H, QN950F, R95H, S95H, S90H, LS03HW
- AI Football Mode : QN900F, R90H, S85H ~ M80H, U9000H, LS03HE
- To use this feature, make sure the latest software version is installed.

What is AI Football Mode
AI Football Mode automatically provides optimum picture and sound quality for watching soccer matches. AI Football Mode Pro and AI Football Mode automatically optimise picture and sound quality through real-time AI analysis. This feature automatically adjusts colours and brightness, and remasters sound to enhance the immersive viewer experience when watching football matches.
Picture optimisation
AI Football Mode enhances the saturation of uniform colours and green grass to deliver visually sharper images. AI analyses the content in real time and adjusts colors and brightness to create dynamic contrast.
Sound optimisation
AI Football Mode enhances commentator clarity and amplifies crowd cheers to deliver a stadium-like atmosphere. For more precise control, 2026 models include AI Football Sound Controller, which allows users to adjust the volumes of the individual commentator voices and background sound separately.
Note:
- The performance or operation of the service may differ, depending on the original content. Individually set sound volume may be reset if the content changes.
If a soundbar is connected, only picture optimisation works, and the sound setting automatically switches to the soundbar's sound field mode.
How to set up AI Football Mode
AI Football Mode Pro
AI Football Mode Pro automatically runs by recognizing football matches. If you select Auto, the content you are watching is analysed in real time and the picture and sound quality is automatically adjusted.

Open Settings on your TV and select All Settings.
Step 2.
Select Advanced Features.
Step 3.
Select AI Football Mode Pro Settings.
Step 4.
Select AI Football Mode Pro.
Step 5.
Select Auto to enable automatic recognition of football matches.
AI Football Mode
AI Football Mode can be activated through the Settings menu.
Step 1.
Open Settings on your TV and select All Settings.
Step 2.
Select Advanced Features.
Step 3.
Select AI Football Mode Settings.
Step 4.
Enable the feature.
Note:
- Some screen setting features may not be available on the Smart Hub Home screen.
Football Mode is automatically deactivated when AI Mode or EyeComfort Mode is activated.
