Just looking at pictures online will not give you the full story - you should go and check it out in the store. Once you hold it, it looks like a standard phone, and then you open the Fold, and you're stunned by its vast, gorgeous inner display. It's a whole different world - reading, using two apps at once, playing games, and watching videos.

This phone was the absolute perfect phone for me! It's ultra sleek and beautiful. It's another experience when you open the phone and have a mini tablet to use. There's so many features. This phone is truly next level. Unfortunately I am a diabetic and the apps I use for my devices is not compatible with this phone yet. This breaks my heart.

(See images for comparison with Fold 6.) Better camera. Bonus if it's lighter and still holds incredible battery capacity. What more could you ask for? The typing experience has never been this easy. I've previously owned an Ultra device, and it feels like this is the perfect size for a Fold. I'm an avid reader of ebooks and like to watch YouTube videos daily; the main screen more than accommodates these tasks with ease. The camera is unbelievable. In particular, i am impressed by the unique large format offered by the device when unfolded which is incredible for viewing photos, browsing the web and reading books. The quality of the photos and the screen itself is very high. I was skeptical as to whether this phone would be thin and light enough to be user friendly - but it is. Battery life is reasonable. I am still getting used to some Android features, and sometimes the internet seems to freeze on the device for no apparent reason but the phone gives a great user experience and I am delighted with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I pre-ordered the fold z7 after my successful pre-order of the fold z5 and I am amazed by the improvements and find myself using more of the features than I did before. The handling is so much better, sleek and slim yet feels bigger by a mile to be able to stream my shows and movies. I have always been a sasmung user from my first Note 3 following every release to the z7 only missing out on the Note 5 and fold z6. Every upgrade has left me impressed and given me more functions. When AI came to my Z5 I didn't really latch on but in the short time I've had my Z7 I find myself using it more by the day. The other major improvement I'm feeling is the voice recognition, having a strong welsh accent I've always found myself repeating but my Z7 seems to understand way better. This weekend I also got the opportunity during my daughters 7th birthday trip to the Theme park to really test out the camera, I was blown away with the slow motion features and editing and how clear the zoom is even during fast paced actions. I rate my Z7 and 9.5 out of 10 only losing half a point because I wish I could have got it sooner haha. Thanks Samsung and keep up the improvements, I look forward to further feature explorations in my upcoming Thailand holiday trip for video editing.

I’ve been wanting a Galaxy Z Fold device for the longest, and now that they’ve given it a better display, along with the same performance as the S25 Ultra, I couldn’t be happier! I came from note 20 ultra which last with me more than 5 yrs with no single issue! Samsung phones are very reliable and their OS is second to none👌🏼, the device is soo light, firm and strong. The battery is good. Display is perfect. The camera is v.good but as I know Samsung it will be better after one or two updates. Pros : Blue color pops. Improved battery life and cameras. The zoom is phenomenal. Slightly wider main screen. Magsafe charging capability. The slim build is great and much lighter than previous models. Cons - The main screen would be prefect at 3in wide. A built in magsafe magnet would be better. The camera lens placement should be horizontal because it doesn't allow you to use magsafe wallets and batter charges. You have to position them diagonal so it's pointless.

The phone is much slimmer and I really appreciate the larger, brighter display whether opened or closed. Performance and battery life seem enhanced from my previous model.The new AI options are very intuitive. Overall it feels more comfortable to hold and operate. Obviously some way to go before I can comment on the longevity of the phone in general.

I love how the phone feels in hand and how much more convenient it is to hold. I have been holding off from fold phones until now, as they were too bulky and thick to carry, but now the phone is much improved, and I am seriously considering switching to the Galaxy Z Fold7 this time. The phone looks very slick in hand and don't even feel it's a fold but like any other bar phone. Samsung should have given a little more battery on this big screen, and I doubt after long use it can last more than 24 hours. The design has to be the highlight and what sets it apart from the rest. The performance is incredibly good even while using Dex it is fantastic and makes it a great option. The camera is brilliant too and deserves a praise, not bad for a foldable. The battery is relatively bad, I struggle a to get a full day out of it.

My first Fold, before I had the s23 Ultra which I loved, however it was to big. What I love about the Fold is when it's folded it's small and light, and when you need the bigger screen it unfolds beautifully. Also the camera is amazing! I have some amazing portraits, editing on the large display is great. The battery life isn't bad either considering the powerful performance. I am fully converted to the Fold and LOVE IT.

I recently bought this device and I can only say that it is a complete work of art, it is quite thin but also sturdy, its camera is very good and it has excellent fluidity, I really am delighted and it is worth mentioning that I have been an Apple user. On the other hand, I have had good views on my social networks when I share my shopping experience, apparently the public also wants it.

The design is engineering marvellous, very thin and light weight yet very powerful delivery. Camera quality is out of this world with full display of greatness. The display is just amazing. Everything about this phone is amazing. And what is even better is the flex mode AKA the tablet mode, marvellous, when paired with Samsung dex on a big screen, you don't need PC anymore. My first words were “it looks and feels amazing”. It fully opens, with the screen fully flat, no ridge where it folds. The features are great, great camara for all your different types of photos. The speed is excellent when opening apps. You can use this for absolutely anything, I used it for editing photos, playing games and streaming, no issues whatsoever. Connecting the phone to other Bluetooth devices is super easy. AI is there and simple when required. Highly recommended if you are looking for quality. Looks stunning

I like to keep up with technology and innovations and i always wanted and liked the idea of a foldable. As a middle aged person i was always looking for bigger and bigger screens. So much media is consumed and socialising is essential so a good phone is litterally a must have these days. you dont realise how much you depend on your phone until you dont have it . I bided my time and then pulled the trigger on this fold 7. Especially after samsung released the fold 6 special edition overseas. It gave us a glimpse of what to expect for the fold 7 and it hasnt dissapointed. the display is clear and big. the pouter screen is very usable . it would be great if we had a setting to have different font sizes on the outer screen and inner screen The camera takes really awesome pics, especially in 50mp and 200mp. the HDR nas 4k video is stunning. never mind all these experts with eagle eyes. The average user will be impressed. The battery life could be better and after a day of mederate to heavy usage you may have about 30% battery left but if it gets you through the day then it has acheived its objective . perfomance is fast and smooth. so much technology to play with . so much customisation possible, and the design speaks for itself. Samusung have certaily caught up and surpassed the comptition with its slimness and elegant sexiness. IT oozes class. As with everything else , handle with care and it will look after you. I would love a smart view case that just wraps around and covers the front screen while protecting it . it si crying out for a smartview cover Overnight it is now the foldable to beat . I use split screen constantly , usually with email on one side and Chrome or YouTube on the other. It genuinely feels like carrying a mini tablet in your pocket. Screen size has increased a lot while thickness has really decreased. I am actually amazed at how it has improved. Cameras have also improved quality majorly. The Fold 7 has loads of impressive features concerning it's new size. As a Samsung fold huge fan I definitely recommend the Fold 7 not only for all it's new improvements but also for the new size and quality samsung always provides. Being able to do so much on a split screen or a normal size screen is just a pleasure everyone should at least try once before deciding on the next phone. It has great cameras, same as S25 ultra, it has got a SnapDragon 8 Elite, perfect for gaming and intensive work. The small display is also big and comparable to a normal sized phone like the s25, and the internal big screen is 8.9 inches and it is perfect for gaming and watching movies. The battery length is great, if you use the big screen you can also use it for the whole day. I would absolutely recommend it

Honestly, I got this phone mainly because I consume a lot of entertainment, whether that is Netflix, YouTube, TikTok, etc. And for the movie and binge watchers, this is amazing. You get a crazy display, and the video format is much bigger than your regular phone. The camera is a whopping 200 megapixels, and the quality is insane. You really are getting the best of both worlds. Especially for those people that want to multitask, the massive display truly enables this. If I were to give it one critique, I would say the battery life for a phone at this price could be better. I would have really enjoyed the new battery technology being used in this phone, but I guess we'll wait for the next one!

However with the case it still has a super slim profile and the built in screen protector does the rest.

It fits in your hand comfortably with the front screen large enough to use without opening the phone. Then when you want all the goodness, just open the screen. I’m honestly pretty disappointed with the Samsung Z7 Fold. Initially, it seemed like a really promising device, but the foldable screen just didn’t hold up at all. After about a month, it cracked for no reason—no bumps, no drops, just normal use. For a phone at this price point, I expected a lot more durability. Instead, it ended up feeling like a pretty expensive piece of “garbage.” A screen that fails this quickly without any obvious cause just isn’t worth it

When I compare it with other non-foldable smartphones, it is lighter and thinner. The best feature of it is the foldable screen. If there is something too small to be seen on the main screen, in the blink of an eye, I can have it on the big screen. The only issue is that sometimes scaling doesn't work when you change the view from a small to a big screen. Z Fold 7 is fast and works smoothly. 16 GB of memory makes the difference. Both screens are perfect. Excellent colours and refresh rate. Sound gives you an unmissable experience with your favorite music playlist. The smartphone works perfectly with Bluetooth earphones and with my car audio. It is a premium product and I recommend it to everybody.

I was never bothered by the thin form-factor on previous devices but I have found the wider screen a much nicer experience. Battery life has been solid even though I wouldn't class it as exceptional. Camera quality is superb and really pleased with the new AI features. The only area I would class as a downgrade it's the loss of the under-display camera. Personally, I would have preferred to lose the inner camera rather than have that beautiful screen interrupted by a hole punch. Losing the S-Pen hasn't bothered me at all and trade that for the new design is worth it. Performance so far has been excellent!
