We spent good money buying a DYSON and have used it as a supplemental unit to our main corded Eureka vacuum. This is until the Samsung Jet 60 arrived. In a side by side comparison, the Samsung is much quieter than the DYSON, more powerful and the battery lasted much longer. Last but not least, the canister does not required cleaning/deep cleaning as often. The Dyson is constantly clogged up. Requiring it to be taken apart and pulled the dirt out by hand. No such problems with the Samsung. My wife promptly pitched the DYSON. My next cordless Stick vacuum will be a Samsung for sure.

It's easy to change attachment configurations: the long vacuum pipe can be detached to the main body & the floor brush attachment & crevasse tool can be attached to the main body or the long pipe; great for use in a car or truck. The waste canister can easily be detached from the main body vacuum motor for quick emptying & cleaning. That battery lasts long enough to vacuum my whole RV & most of my car. I'm not sure if the 60 is still available, but an upgrade to a higher model includes an extra battery & more attachments. I highly recommend whichever model one can afford.

I primarily got it for my main floor which is hardwood and tile. On the main floor it is easy to maneuver around kitchen bar stools and dining room chairs. II love it because it gets under the kitchen cabinet area, that is hard to reach with a full size vacuum, without hitting the cabinets. On carpeting, it's powerful suction pulled more dust than I can to share out of freshly vacuumed carpeting. The light weight stick vacuum makes cleaning so easy and effortless! I have recommended it to several friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] at first i didn’t love this vacuum - i’m used to using a vacuum with a brush roll. but as i kept using it, i started to love it. i am able to extend the attachment so i can reach the top corners of my average sized ceiling. the battery lasts quite a while if i leave it on the regular speed, but dies fairly quick if i put it higher. i like using this on our hard flooring instead of a regular broom. the samsung jet™ 60 fit cordless stick vacuum works great on carpet too. i don’t really use it as a standard vacuum, since i have 3 kids and 3 pets. this one is used as an in-between vacuum. *i received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.*

You do not need to press and hold the power button anymore One of the best feature is easy to cleaning in my opinion. Other brand you must disassemble the whole unit. However this item you can just disassemble without any tools and just clean under water and it clean deep inside. I have a dyson and ai need to deep clean once I can smell some odors and it is not easy to do deep clean to everybody. I really highly recommend everyone who wants to clean the house and this vacuum.

i'm disabled with cerebellar ataxia...in other words i have no balance and not much coordination. i purchased this in the hope that i could use my rollator to assist me in doing some cleaning. we have all wood floors. so far so good. it's powerful, on high it'll suck a watermelon through a swizzle stick. of course on high the battery will last about 5 minutes. on medium about 20 minutes. on low it'll go about 45 minutes. it's light enough to use as a handheld and not unwieldy at all. my only minor complaint is the expense of a spare battery. i highly recommend this to friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i was so excited about getting this new vacuum cleaner. when i opened the box, i was ready to read my instructions and get right to it. let me tell you, this sexy sleek (samsung jet™ 60 fit cordless stick vacuum vs15a6031n5) was worth my wait. i charged it and went to work on my carpets. great suction in my high traffic areas. i love the washable micro filter you can clean with just water. remember, after cleaning, dry completely for more then 24 hours in the shade before use. it is recommended to clean the filter once a month to maintain the best performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first "stick" vacuum and I'm pretty satisfied. The time from setup to first use is pretty quick and the manual was easy to understand. Charging the battery is easy as well, its removable. Cleaning the vacuum is a breeze but the only downside is that it can't hold a lot so depending on your usage you may have to change it more frequently. Also, the bottom part is detachable so you can clean anything that gets stuck. The machine will also protect itself against foreign objects and stop spinning so you don't run into problems. I am mainly using it do light cleaning versus getting out my broom and dustpan and I'm glad I have it. I think I will get one for my elderly parents so they don't have to worry about brooms anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Git this as a gift from Samsung, and tried it to clean my pet dander, and does a great job picking my pet hairs up easily and quickly, also used this on our spot/area carpets and does a quick fantastic jib cleaning them, while the charge is limited we found it provided plenty of time to do a quick cleaning of the spot carpets 2 large and the pet area easily and effectively. Charging is fairly quick, love the attachment to the wall for a quick connect and charge while saving space, great easy vacuum to use, great price.

I bought this because I thought it was a good product. It cleaned well at first, but with very little use, or handling, the beater bar broke off. the tabs that hold it on are tiny and plastic. Tiny little ears to hold the entire beater bar on. To buy a new head the same size, it was going to be half the cost of the entire vacuum. It can clean, and is fairly handy and the battery last 40 minutes.....but is way too fragile to be of long term use. I had this vac 3 months when the bar broke off.

I was using the wired vacuum before now, I got tired of plugging it before I can vacuum and my house is very big. So, whenever I vacuum I plug it up to 4 times to get all spots. i literally use this every day. this is the first home appliance i have bought from samsung, and it has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. my order came with a wall-mount, charger, one battery pack, and a "close-up" attachment in addition to the standards cleaning attachment. i use this to clean my apartment floors (tile) and inside my car. i have two cats so there's always fur somewhere. on a full charge, i can usually vacuum every room's floor.

I have a Dyson and a Shark and often feel frustrated with the short lasting battery power and the lack of suction on the dog hair. I have two beagle terriers with short course hair that sticks to everything. Then Samsung Jet 60 had superior battery and suction, pulling the hair off of furniture and carpet edges. I love versatility of how easy it maneuvers. Also, I find it to be less noisy than my Dyson!

This is not something to use to clean your entire house if it is big however this does the job of picking up crumbs Lynn pet hair and reach for those hard to reach areas. It's wall mountable, easy & quick to recharge the battery, and very versatile adapter alternatives. The floor sweeper attachment can be removed from the long tube & attached directly to the main motor body for intense hand vacuuming of rugs that might otherwise be uncontrollable using the long tube while standing. The wand attachment likewise can be attached to the motor body or the long tube to reach high areas or down the side areas of appliances. Now I kind of wish I had sprung for a couple models up that includes a stair step attachment and an extra battery. The included battery lasts long enough to do my whole RV trailer, but with an extra battery I could go on to finish my car or a truck without waiting for a recharge.

The suction power is incredible on this cordless vacuum that's the usual trade off when you get battery powered vacuums but we were pleasantly surprised with the opposite. While it does suck down a full battery fairly quickly it also charges quickly. Will definitely continue buying Samsung vacuums from now on.

Also, base attachment broke, and replacement is quite costly ( 50% of the full vacuum ). Currently using the base taped together. Samsung should make these attachments less painful to replace, or work on strengthening the materials used for parts which will have some physical contact with the surroundings.

I never expected this small samsung vacuum to have better suction than my dyson. I have 2 german shepherd dogs I need to vacuum 2x a day stairs and hallwas. i purchased this vacuum because i have arthritis in my hands and wanted something light and an on off button then i did not have to hold down. this this vacuum works fine on hard surface, but it does not clean up dirt of any kind of rug, even on the high setting, which you cannot really use on carpet anyhow because the increased suction makes it impossible to push. don't waste you money.

You don’t get the 40 minutes it says you should get per use. We bought it mainly to vacuum the carpeting on our staircase but because we use it on high setting the battery dies within 15 minutes we have to recharge before we can continue. On low setting it works ok on our tile flooring.
