I purchased this monitor directly from Samsung. The main jog button that is used to control the monitor, split in half and crumbled after less than six weeks.  I can now no longer turn the monitor on/off. change source, or change any of the settings in the monitor On contacting support, was told that this is physical damage, and not covered by the warranty. I press the button twice a day to turn the monitor on/off, hardly heavy use. Escalated the case as I was unhappy with this response, and was told on a callback that the management decision of "Physical Damage" was final I am now left with a repair bill of on a monitor that's less than six weeks old. Do a google search on "Samsung Broken Jog button", you'll see I'm not alone here in the problem I have experienced here The monitor itself is very good the brightness, contrast , flicker, responsiveness, and uniformity are great, it's just such a let down to have something as straightforward as this bring the whole experience down

If I could leave 0 or negative stars, I would. Purchased this monitor through the online store and it arrived promptly. Less than two months later, it has stopped working. I am now two weeks without a screen, and the service support is not doing anything to fix or replace this. They have sent a separate power cable and then that's it. Absolute waste of money and really poor service. Save your money folks and buy something from a reputable merchant that will last. Samsung is not the company it once was and that is evident from the quality of their products and their service.
