The crease is far less prominent than my old flip and the screen feels sturdier as well. I also really like the ability to use most of the phones features on the front screen which wasn't available with the smaller flip 3 screen. I do wish that the classic lavender colour was available in flip 8 and not only the new fold 8s as I definitely prefer it to the pink. I also don't like that some of the AI features come preinstalled as I know I will not get much use out of them. But, I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and have already convinced one to buy a matching one!

I've been eyeing the Samsung flip phones for a few years now and once I saw the pink option I finally bit the bullet and bought one. I LOVE this phone. The cover screen is so functional you can do like anything on it and I often use it more then the big screen since it fits in my hands so nice, the colour is beautiful, the battery lasts all day with constant use, I haven't had any issues with the screen or hinge and the crease hasn't been noticeable, i love how much i can customize it, and I've dropped it multiple times already since I bring it to work and haven't had any issues. It may not be for everyone, but im very happy with my purchase!

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

Folded: Wide and compact like a passport — the 5.5-inch cover screen is way more usable one-handed for texting, scrolling, and quick tasks. Unfolded: The 7.6-inch inner screen has a near 4:3 ratio that's excellent for videos, YouTube, Netflix, and browsing with fewer black bars. The crease is much less noticeable thanks to new Flex Titanium tech, and the hinge feels solid. It’s fun to open and close. Some people might still find the thickness or sharp corners slightly awkward in tight pockets, but overall it's a huge improvement in everyday comfort.
This phone is great as a tablet replacement. You can literally use it in a pinch as a laptop replacement if you have the right software and bluetooth keyboard. Apart from that, playing games, doom scrolling social media and watching movies are way better than a normal phone. Battery life is still abit of a letdown with heavy use, but I am sure it will improve in future iterations. Can't ditch that powerbank yet. And the cameras may not be as good as the flagship slab phones, but its competent and best of all you can lay it flat and fold the phone like a "tripod" of sort. And do get a case that covers thing hinge when the phone is folded.

The material improvements in form factors are noticeable (thinner lighter hinge opening, crease...). The camera performance is an obviously improvement. Everything else is a incremental improvement. I would normally upgrade primary phone every three years (Z fold 3 still works fine but feels like a brick compared to Z Fold 6) but the upgraded form and cameras had me have a look at the Z Fold 8. Whist I miss the S Pen, it's not a productive killer for me. The Z Fold 8 upgrade was worth bringing my upgrade forward. After 2 months it's a keeper (may retire the Z Fold 3 :-) ).

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Absolutely fantastic phone. The Z Fold 8 folds, unfolds, and occasionally reminds me that apparently my bank account is also capable of folding. The screen is gorgeous, the performance is ridiculously smooth, and multitasking is so good that I can now procrastinate on three apps simultaneously. Build quality feels premium, cameras are great, and the whole phone screams “I have my life together” which is impressive considering I bought it mainly to show people that it folds. Battery life? It exists. Price? Also exists. Worth it? Absolutely, if you enjoy premium technology and making financially questionable decisions. 10/10. Would fold again. 📱

This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

Firstly, fingerprint and facial recognition is much improved on my old S24 Ultra. Love that it's on the side button and not the screen, where the protective screen interfered with it before. The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

When it's open, you hardly remember that this thing folds in half! The seem is hardly there, unlike the Flip 6, which shows slightly after time. Excellent AI features you won't find on ANY other phone on the market. I've been with Samsung for many years and have never been disappointed. And if there was a problem, Samsung is quick to fix it. The battery is pretty long lasting, likley due to optimized OneUi9 and the silicon carbon battery. I can get 7-8 hours of real usage with this beast. 2. The galaxy AI features often come in handy for work and travels. The 7 year of promised updates also a great plus. 4. It is light enough to be like the normal phone I use previously but when you need a bigger screen for watching YouTube or multitasking you just have to unfold it. I like that it doesn't look like any other phone. I especially like the wide screen when watching videos and looking at photos. The screen is also very responsive. When it comes to the camera though, it doesn't have the zoom capabilities of my previous Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. When I tried the zoom, the screen looked shaky and faces in the photo were very undefined. On the other hand, without the zoom, photos and videos look great. Now I need to find out how to use my phone in concerts.

Just a normal person reporting. This phone isn't better out of the box, in my case you have to go to the provider website for the esim which disjoints you from the set up. There is no discernable upgrade for this phone that i can tell. In fact, the color feels matte and not shiny. Everything feels like a downgrade aestheticly. I am not techie so saying how it is perceived. It's about the same size and depth. No real changes with waterproofing or dustproofing. Same camera as far as I can tell. Not impressed. If you don't need a new one, don't buy it. If you are like me and need a flip phone, I'm considering Motorola. Which is exactly what I think Samsung wants.

The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

I wanted to use it a couple weeks before I had a verdict and honestly I love it. I really enjoy all the different ways you can use the flip and find myself using the front screen for more than I thought I would. I love the fingerprint scanner it's so fast and the screen when open is perfect for my Netflix. The fact that I can flip it closed and it will fit in my shirt pocket just is so helpful when my hands are full. I had the option to switch back if I wanted to for cheaper to a bar type phone and I decided nope I just like the flip too much.

Screens are very responsive and good resolution. OS is very fast and responsive even with the fold/unfold requiring everything on the screen to change modes. Very smart to have front facing cameras on both screens. Room for improvement; a little hard to open the fold without tapping things on the small screen, perhaps a finger gap to open would be better. In the open screen mode the keyboard doesn't make use of the middle of the fold which makes it a bit hard to open. Overall this might be the time to go Fold if you are considering it.

The camera is much improved and the battery life feels a lot better. I love the amount of care and thought Samsung gave to the external screen, what you can do now on the outside is so impressive it's almost like having two phones in one. The color is also very nice with the pink tone. Also the opening and closing now is much better than before it has a more satisfying click when it opens and closes. Samsung also continues to do an incredible job with the crease in the screen when the Z Fold 8 is opened.

I find when you are used to a certain size screen, it's hard to go smaller especially for the eyes. I love the way it feels and is a lot smoother on the keyboard. The battery last a long time too. I like that tbe screen lays completely flat, and the overall size when closed is a lot thinner than my old Z Fold which took up more space in my bag. So far using the phone, I have no issues. For my experience very excellent for fold 8 dahil ang dali nya lang dalhin at ang ganda nyang panooran... grabe din yung design nakuha ni samsung yung talagang need ng mga client sa palagay ko dahil sulit yung mga features na meron to lalo na kung mahilg ka manood ng movie or mag basa dhil sa mga AI na meron sya mas mapapadala narin yung ginagawa mo. Dagdag pa dito meron silang bago yung Fan Cam for video editing na maenjoy mo lalo na kung my mga favorite Character kang gustong gusto mo panoorin... kht sa labas at loob ng bahay unstable yung viewing dahil mataas na brightness nito... for me is a good and nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I have gone from flip 6 to 7, and now 8. I really like the flip. It's a good form factor in my pocket. This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

I tried and tested many Microsoft, Google & Samsung Fold Devices but settle back to the Samsung Fold for the convenience of Android Ecosystem from Smart Watches, Android Auto, Android Tablets and Phone Link to name a few. Recently upgraded from Fold 6 to Fold 8 Ultra and what a change in sheer strength of hinge, weight of the device and display improvements i notice immediately. So Far I Am Loving My Fold 8 Ultra. Cant wait to test it out end to end and add a bit more feedback post few months of use.

I love the phone, it matches those barbie flip phones we had back in the 2000s. So it brings back memories. The display is definitely modern, the battery last me a whole day, durability wise, its definitely good. The hinge isnt as bad as i thought itd be. It doesnt heat up as much as i thought it would.

The hinge was never a problem on my 5, and it seems to be even smoother on this one, and no screen creased yet, although, that never really bothered me anyway. I have recently discovered "Bixby" as well. I always knew it was a thing on my old phone, but never used it, as I thought, well, if I have Google, why do I need Bixby?? It is SO GOOD! Now I can send a WhatsApp, or add to my notes, see the status of my washing machine etc, all without typing a thing! All in all, I love it, thanks!

You can set it up to answer calls either folded or by unfolding. The screen was bigger than most foldables at that time. This year I decided it was time to upgrade so I chose the Z Flip 8. It's slimmer than the Z Flip 3 which is nice. It fits in the pocket even easier. It also has a bigger screen on the front when folded. Making it easier to do all kinds of apps without opening the phone. So if you're looking for a get little phone to fit in your pocket I recommend getting the Z Flip 8.

Fast,smooth and just a work of art and craftsmanship. Sometimes I feel it's a bit delicate compared to a single brick style but I guess I'm just getting used to it. Pick a good quality case as it does put your mind at rest on the protection front. Battery life seems s goods as my S23 even using it unfolded. The hinge is reassuringly positive on open and shutting, just remember if you rotate it while watching something you remember as trying to shut it the wrong way could damage it.

I switched to the Flip 6 upon its launch, and I just received a new Flip 8. As someone who loves to stream videos and music, I appreciate the improved screen quality on the Flip 8 with no visible screen crease on the interior screen due to the titanium upgrade. The slightly larger overall size is a better fit for my hand while still compact enough to fit comfortably and securely in my pockets. I am using Gemini vs. Google assistant and it's a game changer for instant access to facts, information and tasking. Overall I am quite pleased with the Galaxy Flip 8 and if it's to be, future Galaxy Flip phones
I have had the samsung flip 4, flip 6 and just upgraded to flip 8. I have loved all of them. The samsung flip 8 is thinner and the display is really sharp. Although I have not had much time with it, I am enjoying it so far. There does seem to be a few bugs I am having to work out which I have never experienced before. I am not very good with technology so it is taking me some time with the help of AI. The phone shows that it is off line sometimes and the airplane mode comes on. That has been frustrating. All in all, I hope to work out the bugs and enjoy this phone as much as my previous flip phones.

Battery, on the first day, you are setting up everything and there seems to be a significant improvement. Display is definitely brighter and less reflective. Hinge is really snappy to open and much easier (though no problem with fold 7 either). One thing I love about one UI is the responsiveness of the whole UI compared to Magic OS (I have a V6 too). Time will tell on Durability but the fold 7 was perfect for a year, so no reason to doubt the ultra. Speakers are great for such a thing device.
