The Z fold7 is so slim and yet so well built, it feels like it will last as long as any other flagship phone, with build quality, cameras, battery life and One UI8 software making the Z fold7 a perfect choice for business use and any user. The inner screen works very well with stylus pens, and I’ve found them to be very similar writing experience as previous Z folds which used proprietary S Pens, so I was happy I can still use a stylus to do everything I used the previous Z fold6 for. Overall I’m very happy with my Z fold7.

I was worried about the cover screen moving from a s22 plus however, the size of the cover screen is perfectly usable as a normal phone. The foldable aspect has changed how I view phones as it operates as a small tablet. The thinness and camera are impressive. I would recommend to anyone having doubts as this is definitely easy to use moving from a conventional phone like the s22 plus. The battery has lasted me for full day so no complaints there and the phone is pretty fast and snappy. The size was the main area for me regarding the cover screen and it's pretty good. The hinge is not a bother if you're worried about that.

Overall a brilliantly designed phone. Only nitpicks are: Design needs an indent to help unfolding as difficult to separate halves. Outer screen could do with an antireflective display. Inner display is gorgeous. Enjoying having a narrower phone when folded compared to an ultra, much more pocketable and easy to handle when making calls. Would have liked the inner camera cut out to be more off centre so it wouldn't be visible when watching YouTube etc. Camera and battery seem great so far, despite initial concerns about battery life.

Having been on Pixel phones for the last 3 generations (and after being underwhelmed with a Samsung experience many years ago), I had some reservations. But the transition across has been seamless. And the device....WOW! Fantastic quality and feel, amazing camera and image quality, bright and clear screens. So much packed in an ultra thin and super light unit. My only slight criticism (which is an unfortunate by-product of one of its best features!) is it can be difficult to open because the two halves are so thin! I've been the owner of two Galaxy Z Flips and was finally ready for the big time with the Fold 7. I am glad I held out and waited for this newest model. It's new form factor and design are truly a big leap forward for foldables. The crease is almost nonexistent at this point. The display is gorgeous and makes running multiple apps seamless. As a Tab S8+ owner, I wanted to have that level of multitasking on my mobile phone, and now I can. The camera bump does hurt the slim figure of the phone, but it can be forgiven once you know how powerful it is. It's a real conversation starter this phone. It'll continue to surprise me as time goes on, no doubt.

My first words were “it looks and feels amazing”. It fully opens, with the screen fully flat, no ridge where it folds. The features are great, great camara for all your different types of photos. The speed is excellent when opening apps. You can use this for absolutely anything, I used it for editing photos, playing games and streaming, no issues whatsoever. Connecting the phone to other Bluetooth devices is super easy. AI is there and simple when required. Highly recommended if you are looking for quality. Looks stunning

I previously had the fold 3 first and I enjoyed quite a lot, but the new fold 7 really shows a large amount of improvement and I can truly say it's built beautiful. The front screen is the same as any other phone making it much better versus the fold 3 slim screen and the inner screen totally trumps the old version as well and the biggest thing that made excited as the thinness of the phone which is incredible. They also reduce the hinge size and it feels a lot like a normal phone in your pocket. Very light weight as well. The features are something im still learning and trying but the new camera feature for selfies is super cool.

The transfer of data and apps was easy with the Samsung app, however make sure you use a cable to link the two phones, it transferes just about everything, if you use Bluetooth, well, not so much! So the phone! I love this thing, the outside screen is a great size and very usable, but the inside screen is just stunning, this phone is expensive, but so far I feel very much worth it. As a tip to find out how the features and settings work, I'd very .much recommend pulling up one of the YouTube videos on how to setup your phone, it'll make the start of your z folder life much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned the Z Fold 3 and 5 and the Z Fold 7 is an incredible step up, both in design and performance. When unfolded, the crease is barely noticeable and the slim design is ridiculous (barely wider than the USB-C port). Even when closed, the phone is about the width of S25 Ultra (which I traded up from). Performance wise, in my usage, it is on par with the Ultra, which is to say buttery smooth and lag free. The 200 megapixel main camera is a massive step up in quality over previous iterations and the autofocus on the Ultra wide camera is a welcome inclusion. Fingers crossed for a 5x telephoto zoom next year. Highly recommend!

I pre ordered the z fold 7 and received it as soon as it was released. The size of it is amazing. It truly feels like a regular cell phone when it's folded. However, the inner screen got a black spot on it, that has now spread to cover almost the entire thing, rendering it useless. I now have to send my brand new phone away for repair. Seems to be too fragile. I've had a case in it since it came out of the box and an outer screen protector, and the inner screen still got broken within 2 weeks of owning the phone. I'm not sure if its a defect, or if I did it, but I'm not hard on my phone, so if it was me the phone is too fragile

There is a huge difference between the z fold 7 and its predecessor the z fold 6 which is thicker. The screen is beautiful the design is 2nd to none. How they made a phone this thin and still make it a flag ship model with basically no compromises is an innovation in its self. The 200MP camera is a nice addition compared the the fold 6 which i had. Performance: Never slows down, I use mine more for gaming and its ability to play emulators at full speed is amazing. Design: This is where i think samsung could do alot better, its exactly the same from the fold 4 onwards and its just getting a little stale. Value: Its a folding phone, its going to be expensive but for what it is? i think its worth the money.

Useful to know there is some resistance, but sand etc would bugger the device. Battery, it just about lasts a day of average usage. This is find but does limit my comfort with going longer days (e.g travel and or outdoor adventure) Camera, why not just have the same cameras and the ultra ? It might be that I need another cable that's firmer when plugged in. Other than that, the battery life has been solid, and it charges quickly. Overall, a fantastic device that’s been a joy to use. The phone is thinner, lighter and the battery even though it is the same capacity is far more efficient. I find myself using the outer screen more now, for quick replies or checking something. The outer screen is basically the width of a normal phone now so much easier to use. The inner screen is and has always been a delight, great for multiple tasks... I can open spotify and browse the Internet at the same time. The camera quality is also far better. I did not like the inner under display camera before, the hole for the new camera doesn't bother me and the camera quality is far better now.

That phone was well built, peeformed well and the battery was reliable. My initial usage with the Z7 was getting used to the way that this model performed. The design is amazing, the clarity amazing and the display outstanding. Having sold my digital camera, the chance to ascertain the powerful 200mb camera on the Z7 in an outdoor envionment where the full zoom could be put to use was taken whilst photographing Tenby harbour from the top of the hill. A very good photograph with excellent colour and light balance. I am still getting used to the Z7 but overall 10/10. Superb.

Then I got the Fold 5 which did make me loose confidence as I had too many issues with the device and I ended up sending it back for Ultra 24. Then came Fild 7 I thought should I take my chances and finally gave in and wow everything about this device has Wowed me till now, be it the size, weight, features, user friendliness I don't think it is easy to capture everything in words. I have had the samsung galaxy Z Fold 7 for about three weeks now. And I can honestly say, I love this phone ♥️ ever since the first samsung galaxy fold came out.I always wanted one, but I chose to wait until I found a version of the Z fold I was comfortable with. And I must say i love everything about this phone and it was definitely worth the seven year wait. The only problem I have is the inner screen. I have to carry around a microfiber cloth with me everywhere I go to clean the inner screen, because even if a speck of dust/dirt is on the inner screen And it is closed, it will leave it indents on the inner screen 😩

I will rate galaxy z fold 7 as the best smartphone that I have used so far. The level of freedom that the screen provides is excellent, especially for media comsumption and opening two screens side by side. The reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is beecause of battery, would really appreciate if we could get 6 hours of SOT. At present I am getting 4 to 4.5 hours and around 125% battery usage per day on average. Also would like to see a better telephoto camera, hopefully 50 mp at least 5x. Rest I am extremely happy, probably the happiest after a purchase that I have been since a long time regardless of price.

It is my third Fold and for the most part are great phones. I dont like that i can't set separate ring tones for different contacts, texts and emails, very frustrating. As I edit this i must repeat myself its very frustrating that I can't have different ringtone for different people. Also I have found that I need a lock screen for some apps. This is very frustrating since I'm into my phone a hundred times a day and its never further than arms length away. It's totally unnecessary. As a result I have downgraded my rating. All the problems could be remedied with software updates The screens are nice and clear but have problems with cracking in the center from folding

Pros: Big improvement coming from the z fold 6. Love how slim the phone is in comparison. It feels like a regular Samsung phone when folded. Camera is better. Cons: The battery life still sucks. The camera still isn't what I would expect at this price point. It's better than the z fold 6 for sure but not much. No more S-pen. Not a pro or a con but the screens are still really reflective. Overall, for the price, I was hoping for a camera equal to the S24 & at least a slightly better battery life but regardless, I love the fold 7 & think it's a nice step up from the 6,. I'm glad I upgraded. However, until those 2 things are improved, I doubt I'll be upgrading again.
