I've been eyeing the Samsung flip phones for a few years now and once I saw the pink option I finally bit the bullet and bought one. I LOVE this phone. The cover screen is so functional you can do like anything on it and I often use it more then the big screen since it fits in my hands so nice, the colour is beautiful, the battery lasts all day with constant use, I haven't had any issues with the screen or hinge and the crease hasn't been noticeable, i love how much i can customize it, and I've dropped it multiple times already since I bring it to work and haven't had any issues. It may not be for everyone, but im very happy with my purchase!

Considering I was intending on purchasing a z FLIP8, not the ZFold, I am very happy with what I got. It's super versatile, can be used as a small screened phone or a bigger screen unfolded and is just as good either way. I love how light and slim the unit is and have already purchased several cases for it. I'm so happy with my new phone! (Last one was a Z flip 7, much chunkier).

The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

Just replaced my z flip 3 with the new z flip 8. So far I am loving the new phone. The crease is far less prominent than my old flip and the screen feels sturdier as well. I also really like the ability to use most of the phones features on the front screen which wasn't available with the smaller flip 3 screen. I do wish that the classic lavender colour was available in flip 8 and not only the new fold 8s as I definitely prefer it to the pink. I also don't like that some of the AI features come preinstalled as I know I will not get much use out of them. But, I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and have already convinced one to buy a matching one!

I love flip because it fits in all my small purses and my pocket in my scrubs. I have noticed a much faster processing capacity and smoother opening from beinf closed. I was hesistant to upgrade this time around since I knew there weren't a lot of changes made from Z flip 7 which I most recently had. This is my 4th Z Flip the size is perfect for pockets, the main screen is protected by the clam fold it's lighter, the hinge is smoother, the "crease" is almost non existent! Colours are better this year too. Linked to all my other devices seamlessly especially my Mini! Battery also lasting longer, always use battery protection so never charge beyond 85% you can now choose your protection level also. Much more responsive and love the prompt features and AI spam alerts. It feels slimmer but still durable and substantial. You won't be disappointed!

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Just a normal person reporting. This phone isn't better out of the box, in my case you have to go to the provider website for the esim which disjoints you from the set up. There is no discernable upgrade for this phone that i can tell. In fact, the color feels matte and not shiny. Everything feels like a downgrade aestheticly. I am not techie so saying how it is perceived. It's about the same size and depth. No real changes with waterproofing or dustproofing. Same camera as far as I can tell. Not impressed. If you don't need a new one, don't buy it. If you are like me and need a flip phone, I'm considering Motorola. Which is exactly what I think Samsung wants.

The 8 does have decent updates; however, these updates are more so for convenience rather than needs for increased usability. For me personally, I could've gone without the upgrade to the 8. I only upgraded due to the rumors of this being the last flip so I wanted to make sure I had the latest version if this were to be true. I think if you enjoy the flip 7 and don't need or can't afford the upgrade, then you're good and aren't missing out on much.

The responsiveness of the phone is impeccable and is extremely smooth, the new silicon carbon battery allows for your flagship battery life whilst making the phone slimmer, which shows in the crease now taking a huge visual decrease seen in other fold phones and also the hinge being smooth and durable to allow easy opening. And finally with the new titanium screen fitted into the screen the durability has stepped up dramatically.

The Flip8 fits in my pockets so much better than my last small galaxy S24. And, I enjoy the retro feeling of flipping the phone open! The Flip8 may not have noticeable advancements from my last S24, but I am enjoying the style. The screen is great. The battery life is good, but not a huge improvement over other new phones. That would be my only criticism. It's all about the compact size for me. Please don't stop making Flips! And, please keep making phones in light colors. It's easier to find in a bag.

I wanted to use it a couple weeks before I had a verdict and honestly I love it. I really enjoy all the different ways you can use the flip and find myself using the front screen for more than I thought I would. I love the fingerprint scanner it's so fast and the screen when open is perfect for my Netflix. The fact that I can flip it closed and it will fit in my shirt pocket just is so helpful when my hands are full. I had the option to switch back if I wanted to for cheaper to a bar type phone and I decided nope I just like the flip too much.

The camera is much improved and the battery life feels a lot better. I love the amount of care and thought Samsung gave to the external screen, what you can do now on the outside is so impressive it's almost like having two phones in one. The color is also very nice with the pink tone. Also the opening and closing now is much better than before it has a more satisfying click when it opens and closes. Samsung also continues to do an incredible job with the crease in the screen when the Z Fold 8 is opened.

Only negative so far is the media apps like netflix amazon and disney really need a update for a pinch to zoom function as it is small big widescreen bars or zoomed in to full screen and missing most of the sides there needs to be a nice inbetween screen please add this! I know the fold 8 has better viewing screen but as the flagship fold i feel this is missing. However so far everyone i show this phone too literally says wow when i unfold it!

Design is beautiful, sleek and very stylish. I love how compact it becomes when folded. Camera quality is great too. I was little unsure to switch to flip but I am glad I did. It's so fun to use, feels different from a regular phone. So far I am happy with the performance, design and I would definitely recommend flip 8 to anyone who is looking for something different.

I like that it doesn't look like any other phone. I especially like the wide screen when watching videos and looking at photos. The screen is also very responsive. When it comes to the camera though, it doesn't have the zoom capabilities of my previous Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. When I tried the zoom, the screen looked shaky and faces in the photo were very undefined. On the other hand, without the zoom, photos and videos look great. Now I need to find out how to use my phone in concerts.

I find when you are used to a certain size screen, it's hard to go smaller especially for the eyes. I love the way it feels and is a lot smoother on the keyboard. The battery last a long time too. I like that tbe screen lays completely flat, and the overall size when closed is a lot thinner than my old Z Fold which took up more space in my bag. So far using the phone, I have no issues. Happy with my purchase. I haven't used a lot of the AI functionality , so can't comment too much on that to give 5 *.

This one is only a slight upgrade, though. Camera etc are much the same. The more powerful chip is noticeable when in use. My biggest issue is battery. It didn't need to be slimmer and lighter, because it was already a compact size. It needed a bigger capacity battery, that doesn't run so hot. This thing gets insanely hot if, say, you are running android auto with sat nav going. To the point where the phone shuts down. Not good, during a long car journey to somewhere you don't know. So, this has not changed from the 7. I was hoping it would. Everything else is good.

The hinge was never a problem on my 5, and it seems to be even smoother on this one, and no screen creased yet, although, that never really bothered me anyway. I have recently discovered "Bixby" as well. I always knew it was a thing on my old phone, but never used it, as I thought, well, if I have Google, why do I need Bixby?? It is SO GOOD! You can set it up to answer calls either folded or by unfolding. The screen was bigger than most foldables at that time. This year I decided it was time to upgrade so I chose the Z Flip 8. It's slimmer than the Z Flip 3 which is nice. It fits in the pocket even easier. It also has a bigger screen on the front when folded. Making it easier to do all kinds of apps without opening the phone. So if you're looking for a get little phone to fit in your pocket I recommend getting the Z Flip 8.

Fast,smooth and just a work of art and craftsmanship. Sometimes I feel it's a bit delicate compared to a single brick style but I guess I'm just getting used to it. Pick a good quality case as it does put your mind at rest on the protection front. Battery life seems s goods as my S23 even using it unfolded. The hinge is reassuringly positive on open and shutting, just remember if you rotate it while watching something you remember as trying to shut it the wrong way could damage it.

I have had the samsung flip 4, flip 6 and just upgraded to flip 8. I have loved all of them. The samsung flip 8 is thinner and the display is really sharp. Although I have not had much time with it, I am enjoying it so far. There does seem to be a few bugs I am having to work out which I have never experienced before. I am not very good with technology so it is taking me some time with the help of AI. The phone shows that it is off line sometimes and the airplane mode comes on. That has been frustrating. All in all, I hope to work out the bugs and enjoy this phone as much as my previous flip phones.

I switched to the Flip 6 upon its launch, and I just received a new Flip 8. As someone who loves to stream videos and music, I appreciate the improved screen quality on the Flip 8 with no visible screen crease on the interior screen due to the titanium upgrade. The slightly larger overall size is a better fit for my hand while still compact enough to fit comfortably and securely in my pockets. I am using Gemini vs. Google assistant and it's a game changer for instant access to facts, information and tasking. Battery, on the first day, you are setting up everything and there seems to be a significant improvement. Display is definitely brighter and less reflective. Hinge is really snappy to open and much easier (though no problem with fold 7 either). One thing I love about one UI is the responsiveness of the whole UI compared to Magic OS (I have a V6 too). Time will tell on Durability but the fold 7 was perfect for a year, so no reason to doubt the ultra. Speakers are great for such a thing device.

I had a Fold 4 which I loved, but the crease, weight and thickness pushed me to the S24 Ultra at upgrade time. Now instead of the s26 Ultra, I just got the Fold 8 Ultra and it's soo good to be back! The crease is virtually gone, it's lighter, it's impossibly thin, more durable internal screen, bigger battery, brighter screen, flagship chip, higher resolution, improved hinge, flex mode, cover screen preview..almost perfect! My only complaint is the lack of fold pen support which was great on the Fold 4. I get it might have been difficult with how thin the device is and it's not a deal breaker, but it would have been a nice bonus. Great job Samung and thanks for the awesome trade in bonus!

It's cute, it's compact, and I can open and shut it. I also prefer the keyboard and the size of the phone since it is easier for me to type and handle. I almost got the Flip 7 for the gorgeous cobalt blue color (GBA SP nostalgia), but then we I found out they were releasing a pink Flip 8 I had to wait. The color is absolutely stunning and I am beyond happy with it. I also think the screen on this phone is a noticeable improvement from my Ultra 25. All in all I am incredibly happy with my purchase and I am going to stick with the Z line in the future!

The Z Flip5 was the first one I owned, and I hadn't upgraded until now. This new model is much thinner and a little wider. It's an obvious improvement over three generations, so it feels great and is noticeably faster. The battery lasts much longer, which is very important to me because I use my phone for work. The camera is also an improvement, although I wish it were as good as the Galaxy Note's. Still, the compact size is what matters most to me. I can't give a complete review of the phone yet because I just started using it, but it's definitely a huge improvement over my last one.

I wanted to try a flip smart phone and after playing with a different kind for a bit, I found myself missing Samsung, whom I'd been with since 2006 when I got my first android phone. The full back display and cameras being on the same surface allows for photography moments that no other smartphone series does. The Z Flip8 feels lighter and yet more durable than it's predecessors and after double checking right now... The main screen 'crease' is nowhere to be seen. The only place where the phone feels lacking is it's battery performance. It's not bad by any means but is also nothing to write home about and will need a charge before the day is up as well as overnight. Genuinely a fun and functional flip phone - would recommend!

Integrating the apps and system with the new AI gives the ability to conceive, plan and execute my calendar, tasks, and events on time. This is due to the sharing of data, notifications and productivity files. The camera is also a step up as the pictures are sharp and well organized. The flip feature is to my liking as it gives me a simple, small, fit in pocket phone I can unobtrusively carry and use it folded for quick calls, texts, etc. When opened, the Z-Flip 8 pro idea a broader landscape to view articles, watch videos, and compose e-mail or letters.
I recently upgraded from the Motorola RAZR plus 2024 and I've got to say, while having a similar look and feel, the overall experience is mind boggingly different. From the extra half centimetre of width to the customization, cohesiveness and ease of the Samsung family. Truly a beautiful product inside and out. The camera is amazing, the display feels ingrained and like that of a regular no flip phone. I can't attest to the durability as it is protected like fort Knox on a bad day. Battery is ok from what I've experienced so far but I assume it will get better as it learns my usage patterns.

So don't need to carry around a battery bank like I have for years anymore. Front screen has really bright and clear. Wide so I can type without pressing multiple buttons. So I'm faster at texting. Phone is crazy thin... Like marginally thinker than iphones and galaxy phones but phone folds open! Internal screen is nice. And crease never bothered me much on fold3 but this generations you can barely even feel it let alone see it. Phone is snappy and fast... Zero issues with speed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so I had the flip 4 and went back to tablet phone (s25+) to see how i would get on. needless to say I went back to the zflip 8 and, so far, I love it. easy to use main screen and great screen on front which can do so much and I'm still learning! the main screen is very responsive and battery life seems good although I'm still to test properly . the feel of the phone is so much better than the flip 4 and s25plus, much thinner than both of these making it unobtrusive when in pocket . hope the durability of the hinge has improved as this was the only thing that let me down on the 4 version. quality of pictures and videos are great for a phone. so far so good and so glad I switched back to a flip.

I am someone who upgrades my mobiles frequently, but my upgrades have been exclusively with another Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series ever since it first came out. I had the original, the Flip3, Flip5, Flip6 (loved the yellow colour) and now the Flip8. The phone has proved reliable and with never a crease or crack, I just like to take advantage of Samsung's generous trade-in. I also appreciate that the Flip (so far) still includes a pSIM (nano-SIM) along with eSIM technology. I travel overseas a lot and in some countries an actual physical SIM can be a plus.
Wow, not even sure where to start. All I am gonna say is if you want something practical, simple, yet advanced, LOOK NO FURTHER. The Z Flip 8 is a very nice phone. Amazing display, battery is not so bad whatsoever. No need to worry about the hinges when folding, it folds perfectly. The perfomance is exceptional, better than my S25 Ultra which was my previous phone. Get yourself a case, make it more durable but when getting this phone note that you are gonna need to be extra careful with it, as with any phone. You get used to the folding quickly if this is your first Flip. Might have to get the Z Fold 8 Ultra as well 😆. But yes, durability must be considered. Great for making space in your pocket 😆.

It's been simple to take out and view the date, time, weather update, notifications, etc., without having to open the phone completely. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disabled and the flip phones come in handy fit in the pockets better I have been a flip phone user for a long time now the Z flip 8 is a great phone the only thing I have is on the cover screen pressing the home button does not return you to the lock screen. The lock screen should be the home page like it was on a Z flip 7 the good lockk app should have its own card or the app card should hold more, be full card itself. I haven only had the Z flip 8 for a few days now still looking at everything that has to offer but I have noticed that a lot of things have become much better

I upgraded from my old ZFlip 3, so I knew what I wanted from this phone. While its an upgrade, some things are not sitting well with me. I don't like the AI constantly nagging me to use it. I don't like the camera lenses protruding from the phone when on the Flip 3 it was smooth, too easy to damage. I compared the technical specs and was surprised to see how some things improved only marginally while others went backwards. It's a lot of paychecks for a small tadaa! Rather than a "Wow!".

I chose this flip phone as it's something different and unique and also really like the pink color it comes in. In my previous phones, I haven't had the option to personalize it as I've had with this phone. I enjoy being able to use the cover screen to do so many things. In the past I've always had to find something to prop my phone on to watch videos and now I'm able to open the phone halfway to use the cover screen and it stands on its own. Overall, it's been a learning curve as this phone operates quite differently as what I've been used to but it's been fun learning and customizing everything which makes the phone feel more personal to me.

After two years of my wife and I taking these phones all over the world, we are both huge fans of Flip's. I chose to upgrade to the Z Flip 8 because I appreciate advanced technology and features. The Flip 8 is still at a reasonable price point while offering many advantages even the Fold line doesn't offer. The size and feather light package are everything. This phone does it all, yet fits in spaces so small there just isn't any other device that compares. My favorite feature however, is to be able to plug in a little fan and set it on the table and be cool with my cool Flip phone. My friends are always envious over that trick.

The screen is beautiful and the crease is much less than that of my old Z fold 4. I hope it is more resilient and will not crack down the crease as that one did even whilst still in warranty. Without a protective cover, I find the phone rather slippery to handle particularly when opened. The thinness is very impressive but I would rather have preferred a return of the S pen or at least the integration of some sort of stylus. I also wish you offered a range of protective covers with a stylus, a stand and RFID space for cards. Is there one you recommend that I can be sure will work well?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was debating between the s26 and Z flip 8 after my s20 finally died. I'm quite happy I chose the Z flip 8, it feels luxurious and well engineered. If you spend a lot of time on your phone or multitask often this is a great option. The split screen and picture in picture are great. I like the convenience of the cover screen when I don't feel like using the full screen. Much of the UI and features are customizable. Runs smoothly, and crease is only noticeable in direct sunlight. My only 2 complaints are the overuse of AI features which feels unnecessary, and the quality of the front camera, but since you can use the coverscreen and back camera for selfies it's not a big deal. Overall I think it's worth the price so far.
The battery on the flip 8 is a lot better than the z flip 4 i purchased a few years ago. The display is just beautiful, bigger ,wider screen. It has a built-in screen protector for durability. The hinge is much better than than my flip 4 and you can't even see the crease on the flip 8. I love the performance of the phone. The front screen also has it where you may add a lot of extra widgets. I am so happy with my purchase. It came in a beautiful pink color, very vibrant. I am totally satisfied with what I bought. I really love how compact this phone is. It's worth every penny. If you're interested in this phone I say go for it. It's definitely worth it. This phone is very thing and much lighter than my S24 Ultra. It opens a whole new way of using a phone. Unfolded you can multitask with more apps open and with some apps expanding further. I can't praise this phone enough and there's no way I could go back to a slab phone. The outer display isn't quite as wide and the hight of my S24 Ultra but it's not much. I expect this will eventually change in future models My life cycle with phones is 2 year it'll be Fold 10 for me.

However the wow factor of being able to open the phone up to see the gorgeous large dispaly more than makes up for it. I am very impressed with the fact they have made the fold almost invisible. I can honestly say that I am totally unaware of it whilst using it and sometimes have to look at the back of the phone to make sure I am going to close the phone up the correct way. So far so good, only had it for a few days and I'm loving how long the battery lasts... Only thing during the initial setup, I had to search how to bypass the SIM activation, since with my Carrier you can't transfer the ESIM, you need to download their app and upload a new ESIM there. I'm really hoping the factory screen protector doesn't fail within the first year like my Flip 5 did... Loving the feel and operation of the phone so far, I'm coming from the Google Pixel 9 pro XL, which has the better camera... Yeah, I wish the Flip 8 had a better camera by now.

I feel like it never dies. There is no crease that is visible or that I can feel. The phone seamlessly opens and closes. The outside screen is like the coolest thing I've ever seen. It's so easy to maneuver, and you can add apps to it that you need quick access to. I am truly excited about samsung pay, and all the things the wallet has to offer. This phone is really as cool as it looks, and I feel freaking awesome using it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade my Z Flip 6 to the Z Flip 8 which I love! Definitely a great decision. I am unfamiliar with the Flip 7 and if it has a big difference compared to the 8 but there are differences compared to the 6! The best feature in my opinion is the ability to use the half screen more. Being able to open apps, and other use that screen more without having to open the whole fun is a game changer. I haven't really used the new camera feature they boast about but I do think it's cool. Another thing to mention is that it did get bigger and more rectangular which doesn't bother me. I really like the phone and I do hope Samsung continues to come out with more features and upgrades to the flip just like they do with the folds!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z flip 8 because I like the form factor of flipping a phone open, in addition to being able to use the cover screen. I owned a z flip 7 before, and although the new phone mainly has quality of life improvements over the old phone, it feels like a nice upgrade. More can be done on the cover screen now, and the screen looks slightly sharper. The phone can also get brighter than the previous gen. I think these upgrades were worth it, but if you are tight on money and have the z flip 7, I would wait for the next one to come out before upgrading.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to get Samsung Z flip again after my previous Samsung Z flip 6. I love the phone because talking on phone has become so much simpler now. Even when I'm working, I can slightly flip the phone and keep it for video mode on without having to rely on anything else. My hands don't get tired of holding the phone. Plus Z flip 8 has some a cute feature of choosing multiple pictures for the lock screen, which helps me put pictures of my loved ones and reminds me of them whenever I look at my phone. Additionally, the phone is so light, the screen feels extremely good different and smooth. Even after flipping the phone, it doesn't show the line. Samsung has taken phones to some other level. Crazily in love with my new phone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned the Z flip 3, 5, and now the eight. I chose this because it's easy to put in my pocket. I have always liked foldable phones. This new generation shows a lot of improvements over the previous ones I had. First of all, the crease is no longer visible. I am hoping that the screen protector will stay on longer than on my previous phones. I have yet to use the camera and try the AI for photo enhancement. But I am looking forward to doing that. The larger battery gives me longer working time and the improved cameras should improve my pictures.
Excellent battery life compared with Z Flip6. Crease has never bothered me on any Flip or Fold, but it is noticeably better than the Flip6, even after several folds. I do not open and close any Flip or Fold a lot, so that is never concerning. Especially with how much these displays have improved. I no longer worry at all about these screens and have been using only Samsung folding phones since the Z Flip1. That means, I do not think it is going to randomly stop under normal usage with good, mindful care for the inner screen. It still requires more attention, but it is no longer something one has to pay SO much attention to. Rather, just use the device as a tool, like any other phone and be surprised with how long it can actually last.

Having to be a Samsung user for over 2 decades, the AI features is surprisingly good. But in comparison with the previous One plus Open (years older) the samsung galaxy z ultra 8 is subpar for its camera quality and intuitiveness. The screen quality is also less. I have not tested its durability since I just got it for a few days. But the body durability and built seems soft. The battery also run out faster even on stand by. It heats up a bit when plugged. The hinge fold and crease is good. The performance is really good. The phone starts up fast.
Upgraded my phone from the zflip 6 to the 8. So far, I am absolutely loving it! It's much faster than my 6 and the crease in the middle of the screen isn't noticeable at all!! What an improvement 😀

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the longest time, I had The Samsung Galaxy S 24 Ultra and I absolutely loved that phone, but I thought that I would try a different series. This is my first flip phone and I find it to be okay. I find that sometines it's difficult to open and takes longer to access the phone call it's self, which can be a negative especially if it's a important phone call. I am surprised about the battery life on the phone. I don't think its great and thought it would be better considering it's a smaller and lighter phone. I am also disappointed by the camera too. But the sound quality is good and the phone was expensive for being a basic cell phone. The Z Series seems to be about just being a flip phone which could be seen as compact and I do like that.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
