Have the supported Galaxy Watch on while you sleep to help measure your AGEs index. You can see the comparison of your data and the average statistics of your age group. AGEs is a compound that is naturally created in the body when protein molecules and fat molecules oxidise because of sugar molecules. As you age, the more it accumulates in your system. Dietary and lifestyle habits can affect how fast AGEs pile up. For example, a diet that includes a lot of sugar can make AGEs build up faster. According to recent studies, high AGEs index can speed up aging and can cause chronic diseases.
  • Antioxidants help prevent chronic diseases by removing free radicals and reducing oxidative stress. There are two types of antioxidants: antioxidant enzymes synthesized in the body and antioxidant materials obtained from food. When the body's natural antioxidant enzymes become insufficient due to increased oxidative stress and aging, dietary antioxidants are required. Dietary antioxidants such as polyphenols, carotenoids, retinol, vitamin C and vitamin E are abundant in fruits and vegetables. Therefore, it is crucial to consume enough fruits and vegetables to manage oxidative stress caused by aging or unhealthy lifestyles.
  • The score system of Antioxidant Index is calculated based on WHO's recommendation of consuming 400 grams of vegetables and fruits a day: Very Low (Score < 50): Indicates average daily vegetable and fruit intake is below 50% of the recommended amount.
