This Phone is amazing. I used to own a Samsung A13 which has recently ran out of updates so I decided to upgrade to the Samsung A26. The phone is awesome with its 50MP camera and its AI features. The battery life on the samsung A26 is amazing giving a full day on of use. The screen its extremely good because it adapts to the light so you can always see the screen even when the sun is shining also the performance of the device is decent for playing games on and preforming small tasks on the go. Its 5G connectivity is amazing and extremely fast keeping you connected at extremely fast speeds.

Camera is good. Editing options are ok but I feel that I can edit better in Google photos. Battery life is good, but it's a new phone so you would expect that. The fast charger I used on my previous phone was a 67w one which does not work on this phone. I've had to switch to a 25w one, so it is slower to charge than I am used to. The display is good, although sometimes a little slow to respond when you go from a normal to very bright light, but I've got used to it now. No issues or loss of quality with music playback either with the phones speaker or when connected via Bluetooth. Overall performance is fine, I am generally happy with the phone.

We replaced our very old iPhones with Samsung Galaxy on the recommendation of our eldest daughter, battery life had become an issue with the old phones and the small screen size wasn't very good for our aging eyes. The new Galaxy A26 5G had everything we needed and has proven to have excellent battery life, a good size screen, the zoom facility on the camera was a great bonus and the overall performance of the phone has been excellent, another great feature is the easy connectivity between other Bluetooth items I use including the car. A great phone and so easy to use we wish we hadn't waited so long to change our old phones.

Love this phone,once set up, easy to use. Previously had an A80 so familiar with Samsung and despite my grandchildren urging me to go down the iPhone route I resisted and am glad I did. Long battery life , clear display, and easy to use camera, I am quite enjoying finding out what it can do. The phone for the price, in my opinion cannot be faulted on performance. I am not a technophobe so did not want to spend a fortune on a phone with features I would probably never understand or use. The A26 5G certainly lives up to my expectations and needs and more.

Very disappointed with this phone which lacks basic audio and video features that only became apparent for me after purchase. The absence of stereo support in headphones renders it renders it not fit for purpose. Just about every multi-media application, be it watching movies, listening to music or playing games become a dull experience. There's also disfunction in following embedded media within Facebook such as Reels or YouTube which cannot be resized to full screen or stretched with finger gesture. I have returned the phone for a refund.

For some reason this phone will heat up by itself even when no apps are running and all battery-saving settings are turned up to max. As a result, the battery is depleting much faster than my previous Samsung. As someone who only updates their phone once in a blue moon, i'm pretty gutted. Based on reddit posts online, it looks like this is a pretty common issue - wishing i'd read a bit more before making the purchase. In terms of general features etc, seems good but I don't have a great deal to compare it to given my lack of phone buying.

Camera is good. Photos nice and clear and the image eraser tool is brilliant, can get rid of all the annoying people in my photos now. Battery life is no better than my old phone, but I do not have ut on the saver setting. Display is good and clear. Connectivity is much better than previous phone, where I live it is poor area gor signal but does not seem to be a problem and I am getting messages and calls coming through. Overall I am happy with the performance of my new phone. Also live the colour of minty green

I don't love this device at all, there are far too many "Options" . It is a phone made for someone who is very technical minded, even the instructions are complex. I just need a phone that accepts calls, sends calls, sends and receives texts, take the occasional photo. This phone is very complex and far too many apps already included on purchase. Not the best purchase I have made. And I am not a film enthusiast, but your options are limited to those that sit in front of a screen for their pass times.

Second time I've had a Samsung, first one was an A13 which was very good. This A26 is even better, in my opinion very good value for money. It does everything I want it to, and is also robust, I've dropped it a couple of times with no adverse effects. Love the camera, in particular the slo-mo. Battery seems to last a long time and recharges quite quickly. Display is better than the A13. Had android auto on all the time while in France, and the connectivity was very quick. All in all, love it.

First few days i nearly sent it back battery kept getting hot and ran down after a few hours so I looked at forums and it said that when first switched on it was doing things in the background like sorting out files settings and arranging it all so it connects to everything. After a few days everything calmed down didn't get hot when charging and I started to work out how to use the camera and looked at the way everything was displayed it took a bit of getting used to but all going great

First of all, I have Signia hearing aids. Unlike other galaxy models, this one doesn't have full functionality like my previous pixel 6a. When I make a cellphone call, the microphone doesn't work. Other functions work. I'd like to see an update that addresses this. Battery life is disappointing. Icons move from where I put them. When switching on, I have to play hunt the icon. Camera is fine. Screen size is good for me. My first Samsung phone and sadly likely to be my last

Don't like it ! My previous mobile which I have had for 16yrs, was aJCB light small and simple. Now 3G is finishing I had to change. The Samsung 26 won't fit in my pockets, too large and heavy ! Does so many things that I do not want and have no interest in, but above all it was supplied with no instructios at all, lots of pretty symbols on the display but what they are for and what they do are a mystery.Unable to use it !! I am 82yrs old and simply wish to make phone calls !

My experience using the Galaxy A26 5G is amazing. The display reaction time is quick, fast and does not lag or glitch. It has a great speaker quality and seems to be very durable. The cameras are very clear and take beautiful pictures. The battery life lasts a long time as I take public transport and usually use the phone during this time and I don't need to charge the phone for 2-3 days. The 5G mobile data connectivity works seemingly well and works great without wifi.

It's a reasonable phone, but I didn't realise that it doesn't have e-sim capability until after I bought it as there is no information specifically on the Samsung site. On the internet it seemed to indicate that it did which is why I bought it. I couldn't have imaged that it wouldn't have an e-sim when our 5 year old Oppo did have! We were expecting an upgrade but got a downgrade. Now we need to go back to the Oppo to get access to an e-sim for travel.

My oled display looks nice especially at night time, the performance is much better than my previous phone and gets me through the day, the 5G connectivity gives me pretty good mobile speeds, The battery is fine generally considering how I use my phone and the camera is alright for the quality I need. My favourite thing about the phone is it's look, im loving the mint green colour which i see more as blue, and the over phone looks good and fits my personality.

I had a Samsung previously so just wanted to get a new one, as the memory on the last was smaller also wanted a phone with a better picture quality. The display is good, clear and easy to navigate. Photo quality very good, nice clear crisp images. I can store plenty of appa and not worry about enough space on my phone. The battery needs to be charged daily which is not great , I wish the batteries had a longer life span. Over all I'm happy with this phone.

Battery tends to over heat even when I'm not using the phone, ie apps all closed and phone is switched off, drains Battery really quick even charge decreases when charging. I've even tried different cables and charger plugs but still the same issue. Got to a point j put phone in my cool box to cool it down. Also fast charge doesn't charge as its supposed to, takes 3 hours to fully charge to my set limit of 85%. But overall aside from that it's a good phone.

I have always stayed with Samsung and my latest telephone is the Galaxy A26. I do not have need for an all singing and dancing mobile but this model is perfect for my requirements. It is easy to use, self intuitive and the camera is a clear improvement from my last mobile which was the Galaxy A13. The screen is a nice size, not to big and not too small. Once again, Samsung have produced another low to mid end product which has everything I need.

Wow, what can I say, this is without doubt the best mobile phone that I have ever owned. Having been an Iphone user for many years I only purchased this android phone to find out if the problem I had was the phone or the network. I found this phone heavy, not nice to handle, and seems to have a mind of it's own doing what it wanted to do but not what I wanted it to do. This maybe due to all the AI apps in it. (I hate AI). I now have my Iphone working again so this one will be going up for sale. I will be glad to see the back of it.

The battery is good, camera is much better than my previous phone, the display is alright apart from the thick bezel at the bottom, the performance is alright. I found the phone must be really sensitive to touches because I wasn't even touching it and it kept moving about, I tried to restart my phone but however many times I pressed the button it wouldn't restart, i think the back camera layout can go back to the way it was on previous models

The camera. My old phone had only a 6MP camera and yet it feels like it has better pictures than my now 50MP camera. The reason for this is the de-noisifier on the pictures. My old phones pictures when you zoomed in looked blurry, a bit fuzzy, and a bit pixelated, all completely normal. However when i zoom on the photos i capture with my A-26 it looks fake, almost like its been painted? This leaves me wondering if my A-26 uses some heavy A.I interpolation on my pictures. And even worse it doesnt seem like i can change this. Ive heard taking photos in pro mode works but it doesnt. There is no setting ive found to change it. When 6MP pictures look better than 50MP pictures. It has me worried that ive chosen the wrong phone to switch to. I have many more issues but this camera one is the most important and the issue i feel most betrayed about.

Some great features on the phone camera, great works well no issues battery has been holding out well. Volume speaker distorts sort sound when working at full level. The biggest issue is phone can be very sluggish at times. When you have been browsing different apps, seems to use up RAM fairly fast so need yo keep clearing apps which can be quite annoying at times when you are trying to get things done in good time. Otherwise all good.

It is a really nice phone, one issue, occasionally when I try to get into my phone, the keyboard doesn't work!! So I have to "emergency call" then come out, switch my screen off and on again, just fiddle about with it. It is annoying at the moment, am worried it stops working altogether!!! Any idea's what to do? PS, this survey is annoying as well, in the "which describes you" part, how about a "needs a phone that works" description??

had to change my old Samsung phone as was only 3G..which I'd had for years & still worked perfectly ...but had been informed by network supplier that the 3G signal is being switched off in my area...(no doubt the more phone savey people will tell me I didn't need too) however consequently needed to upgrade my phone to 4 or 5G which I have done and updated to the Samsung A26...which seems to be a reasonably priced & an easy to use mobile ...however I'm probably the type of customer who is not a slave to a mobile & probably only use a small fraction of the available technology...having said that ...A26 works perfectly and had not issues transferring the store data from my previous Samsung to the new A26....however my network supplier didn't want my old Samsung...surely this perfectly functional old phone will be of some use...too good to just throw away!

All in all the best phone on the market for people with a medium range budget. The battery is very good. The screen is high definition. The performance is brilliant, with the 8 gbs of ram its perfect for anything high or low intensive you might need. The camera is a different story. It works well in bright well lit conditions but not so well in the dark. The video recording could also be a bit smoother The connectivity is normal

Having worked in the mobile industry for 25 years, based on the reviews above there is clearly a problem with this device and the battery overheating. I really think instead of the probably AI generated answers you are giving on your review section, you should be looking after your valued customers and telling them you are aware of the issue and will sort it out for them. Overheating batteries are a health ans safety issue right?

Apparently different geographical locations have different similar types for this phone - either esim or physical sim. This makes purchasing the phone a little more complex and for me personally...I was disappointed to find that esim wasn't provided for the Australian version. This was despite me researching the phone extensively as I hadn't accounted for this geographical variance as it was mentioned nowhere.

I bought this a few weeks ago, and so far I really like it. The message system is a little different from the A21S (previous phone), but seems to work well. Phone is considerably faster than my old one too. It's feature rich, battery life is good. My only cons with this is the need for an adapter for earbuds (wired), as I don't use bluetooth ones, and supplying your own charger. But other than that, it's really good.

I've always been a Samsung user but after my Galaxy S22 Ultra started playing up following an update I needed to get a cheap phone to tide me over, I have to say I've been very impressed with A26 naturally the overall performance isn't as good as my old handset but I've been impressed with the battery the overall speed and with the phone as a whole when I get another ultra I will keep this as a reliable backup.

Not 100% impressed with this phone and definitely not as good as my last Samsung. It is slow to connect at times has a mind of its own. Don’t like the AI. The battery life is a plus and the camera and display are ok. Too many apps applied. Samsung can’t you just make a simple phone for making calls taking pictures texts and what’s app and for using the internet. Not everyone needs all the gizmos provided.

I was able to transfer everything from my previous samsung within a few mins to my current phone inc the thousand or so pics i had on it. I chose samsung for reliability, and overall performance. Photos are sharp clear & colourful. Also I wanted to add an sd card to expand the memory. Battery life average. Surfing doesnt use much of its charge but making call does. Im pleased with it does what i need it to do.

Stunning colour iced mint? Great features including a very easy way to screenshot images. Shame that I had to purchase a charger and earphones separately. It would have been better if they had been included in the package. Also, it would be great if website ad blockers were installed automatically in stead of buying separately. The phone gets quite hot at times particularly when charging not good.

I had to stop using my high end Motorola phone because the phone reception at my home was terrible. Telstra could not boost my signal but suggested this phone because it has a Blue Tick for reception. And it's true since I bought my A26 I get no more call drop outs or straight to voice mail and now I can actually use my phone's Data for a change. The Signal reception on this phone is Awesome.

The Battrey life is very poor. I have to charge it every day. My old A13 lasted days before I had to charge it. The display, adaptive brightness is turned off but when I go outside it dims in sunlight and cant see the phone or photos. Camera is good and I like the upgraded functions from the A13. Mixed feelings on this phone after having it for only a month does not feel like a new phone.

It is a great phone and don't regret getting it they can work on the battery a bit as it only last 1 day also would like if it could have had wireless charging that would just make it one of the best ..camera is excellent no problem no problem with any connectivity on anything anywhere,it has a great display for gaming and working,the performance is also great no lagging or problem at all

The Galaxy A26 is so much more straightforward to use, apps load instantly, camera is easy to work, the buttons and touch screen work really well, the best yet! The battery lasts far longer than the iphone so that's good. Really impressed and very pleased I bought it. Still finding out how to do some things as I'm not a techi.

First I must correct you, I don't have an A26 5g i have a A56 5g and yes I like it very much, far superior in every way to my old phone, screen is very sharp, the cameras are excellent, just negotiating around all the features , it's so quick and easy to use, and I'm amazed at how long the battery lasts compared to my old phone , I cannot fault my Samsung A56 5g it's brilliant.

Excellent phone for the price. I'm really happy with performance, camera quality, storage and transferring everything over from my old phone was simple and relatively quick. Easy to navigate the menus. Clear, crisp images. Highly recommend this phone if you want a phone for everyday use. I don't stream or game so can't comment, but this phone is perfect for my day to day needs.

I am very disappointed that the face recognition facility does not work on the A26 as I was led to believe in my research that it was available on certain Apps. such as my banking apps. Display is good and the battery life serves my needs very well. I very rarely use the camera on my devices but it works satisfactorily.

The setting up wasn't easy either transferring I had to do in sections it kept saying not enough storage on old phone. Love the phone but had to take it back twice as it keeps coming up with the moisture sign and couldn't charge it I did everything samsung told me to do but it never sorted the problem I returned the last 1 yesterday got the new 1 here but scared to transfer yet again incase the problem starts again I've had samsung phones from day 1 and never had a problem I hope this helps

First I thought that the battery on this phone was quite poor but after a few charges it is actually better than my old phone and I don't even charge it every day! It's very intuitive and quite easy to find the apps that you use regularly,they appear quickly so that you have them to hand next time. Great clear display, battery life only lasts me a day, but I do use for Internet purposes too as faster than my lap top. Great camera for zooming. I am using dual sim so I have my work number and private number on one phone. Easily connects to each service. Was unhappy with latest update as changed the way you can access apps but overall happy with performance

Had this for a month now. Upgraded from a Galaxy S10 and with Smart Switch it took less than 15 minutes to transfer the info , then maybe another half hour to install and setup all the apps. The phone is snappy to use, the face and fingerprint works well, and with a magnetic connector charge cable I'm not missing the lack of wireless charging. Very happy!

Bought a new phone because storage was running out on my A21s and A26 has much more, although 17GB are taken up with the system. Also thought this was dual SIM plus SD card, like the A21s, but it's not. It's either 2 SIMS or 1 SIM, one SD card. Seems a backward step. Also the sound is tinny. I am concerned re the battery life, I haven't streamed anything yet, but battery is only lasting about a day. It's currently on 65% and says it will last 1 day 4 hours, but I know it wont. When I got my aA21s in 2020 the battery lasted about 3 days, and it still lasts about 20 hours even though it's 5 years old. I feel the A26 battery will be practically dead in a year, I'm not convinced by it and seems I'm not the only one. I was very happy with the A21s, only reason for changing it was lack of storage, but I suppose you want us to keep changing upgrading its good business, but if the battery fails too soon I won't be buying Samsung again.

No battery power saving unless in dark mode, so not as good as A13. Pull down on screen notifications less easy to access. On switch doesn't operate alone you have to press the volume down switch too!!. Why? More complicated and no info up front about this. Previous A13 very easy transition from A20e, this clumsier and less well thought out.

Overall the phone does what I need. That being said, you have to be so precise with where you touch and the autocorrect is awful at recognising nonsense. The fact that the screen doesn't meet the bottom, aesthetically is unfortunate. The touch sensitivity of the screen seems to be poor, especially when double tapping just to check the time.

I do really like my new device except for the fact that most days while I'm using my phone and message appears to say I have no service/no sim and I have to turn off my phone and turn it on again to get service back, which is very inconvenient and never happened with my previous device. I also feel my device is a bit big and unwieldy.

The phone is too heavy and too large. Screen is not as touch sensitive as my previous A20e which I preferred. Performance is good and fast. The phone is too complicated, preferred my A20e. My one problem is that I'm used to turning my phone off at night but have had to give up with my new one. I try dragging the home page screen down but it doesn't work (it did initially but not any more). I've also tried holding the on/volume buttons together but again, apart from working initially, it doesn't work anymore.

This phone is faster than my previous and is able to receive connection where my old phone could not. Unfortunately for me I still do not get a great battery life as although it will connect at some points in the house it will not connect everywhere and this runs the battery down faster that I would like.

You send me updates when Samsung no longer UI v15 as the widget no longer supported for One UI 8.0 or above. Even on here you flip from connectivity to Display. And update dated 1 8 25 and today 25 8 25. Ive has no wifi with 02 geographical coordinates so called mast down since 8 8 25.

I don't.love this phone. Touch screen is too slow for my games, this also makes spelling mistakes because it types the wrong letters, there is no jack for my headphones so I had to but the wireless ones which I hate. Reception is poor compared to my old phones so no, I do not.love it.

I bought the Galaxy A26 as a backup phone. This phone comes with 6 years of software support which is great for a mid tier phone. It also has gorilla glass plus water and dust protection. Again features which are mainly only found on top of the range phones across many brands.

I have hearing aids. When I make a call, the recipient can't hear me although I can hear them. I have to turn off my hearing aids to hear them abd obviously I can't hear them very well. My audiologist believes the Samsung programming has changed as my aids are not faulty

The battery lasts a good while and charges very quickly. The camera is good but I am not sure what options to use to make better, some suggestons would help. My old phone had different noises for different options like text or email but I cant figure out how ti apply this.

I love the overall function and speed of the phone. The display is clear and the battery does not fade across a days use This is the downside though, I find I have to charge the phone every 24 to 36 hours, previous phones have given 5 to 7 days of battery for similar use

I find the keyboard difficult to operate. There does not seem to be an option to make the letters bigger. I would prefer the fingerprint sensor to be on the screen rather than the power button. I don't find the phone as user-friendly as previous phones.

The camera, photos seem very dull compared to my previous galaxy phone. Also not happy that I can't adapt notification noise to differentiate between notification styles. Prefer my S range phone, so will probably go back to that on my next update.

Display & performance better than my last Samsung but connectivity & battery a little disappointing for a new phone,camera is better. Prefer layout & accessibility of my previous Samsung but that may just be a case of getting used to new layout
