Product is advertised as able to connect with andoid devices and i assumed that included phones thus product to be able to transfer data directly from phone to ssd but this feature is not true for the Product. And the corresponding app for Product does not funtion at all. Product description is inaccurate. Product is good with pc and laptop haven't tried play station yet but disappointed as I thought I would be able to bypass useing having to trafer phone data to pc then to SSD unfortunately only discover this wasn't possible after purchasing product. For reference android devices is a Samsung S10.

Overall, I really love this PSSD, but sadly, ever since I had moved to Linux last year on November, even though it is not 100% compatible with the OS in the first place, I cannot access my PSSD to access the files I have stored inside it whilst on Linux, combined with the fact I encrypted it with my password. Linux cannot open the program by default, which requires the likes of Wine in order to open. But despite that, the OS (any Linux distro for that matter) still cannot detect it. So what I would propose, is to build a new T8 which would be compatible with not only Windows, Android, or even Mac, but also Linux. Or at the bare minimum, give out the source code to the Linux community to create a commandline program to access the likes of the Samsung PSSD T7 drive. Thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope some day this would be taken on board.

I am running my Macbook Pro 16 with the latest macOS 10.15.4 (19E287). I bought Portable SSD T7 Touch today. It's says that I would be able to to use the fingerprint features, but the software keep saying I didn't connect the drive. I think their software is not ready yet. Samsung, please work this on!
