[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After upgrading from the galaxy watch 6 to the galaxy watch 8 I can certainly say there's been big improvements made.
The battery life is a definite improvement - the watch will last all day with considerable use and exercise monitoring. And the charging speed is significantly quicker than previous models.
The watch is easy to set up and provides a great walk-through when you first use it to help get used to the features.
A large clear responsive screen makes day to day use a breeze.
Ive had many people compliment me on how smart the watch looks and its comfort fit means often you forget you're even wearing it.
The step count, distance and heart rate monitoring is all very accurate and I like how you can view day, week, month and year on the wearable app to compare your results constantly.
Ive always liked Samsung products, but this has confirmed my opinion that their products are well made, fashionable, and comfortable whilst constantly keeping up to date with the latest technology.
I look forward to continuing using the watch and more than likely finding even more useful features that I'll fall in love with.
5* product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a day to day smart watch in an affordable price category!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (44mm LTE) and I really like it. It’s slim, light, and feels great on my wrist. It’s more comfortable than other smartwatches I’ve tried and fits under my sleeves with no problem.
The screen is bright and clear, so checking messages and notifications is easy. The touch bezel is smooth to use and doesn’t make the watch bulky. The watch face looks clean and modern.
I like the health features—heart rate and workout tracking are very accurate. The new Galaxy AI also makes it simple to manage notifications and keep track of my fitness.
Overall, this is my favorite smartwatch so far. It’s easy, comfortable, and works really well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as an upgrade for my wife who was on a Galaxy watch 6. She used the Galaxy Watch 6 daily, and the only problem with it was that the fitness tracking seemed to not be as accurate. As the the Galaxy watch 8 has a few improvements here, it seemed like the right move and it does seem to be more accurate. The Galaxy Watch 8 has been both exciting and, in some areas, surprising. While the jump isn't revolutionary, there are enough meaningful improvements to justify the upgrade. It seems faster, better at tracking and the battery also lasts longer. My wife also liked the style this has over previous generations with the change in shape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new square-circle design is very attractive and also seem to be more slimmer.
The screen resolution is crisp; vivid and the brightness also helps to make it easy to read even in direct sunlight.
The straps included however is too short and I need to purchase additional straps.
I was able to set it up with ease when paring with Samsung S23 . It very responsive to touch without and delay.
I use the watch record my activity when running on treatmill. The distance recorded are very closed and that give me confident the accuracy when GPS signal is not available.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So yes initially it looks massive on my small wrist, but on closer inspection it is just the squarer frame of the face. On set up I love the fact it asked if I wanted to restore the settings from my previous watch which I did and it has transferred all my existing settings and watch faces to the new device and really quickly. I am using the health monitoring features and have noticed there is a greater accuracy when recording steps than in earlier models alongside the updated gps. The blood pressure has been calibrated and the ECG has been recorded, so I will see how I get on after a work out. I love it so far and it has been a great addition to my fitness routine and wardrobe, the straps are easy to change so goes with everything.

Mainly, I wanted a better battery life, which the Watch 8 definitely delivers on. I now only charge every other day which is amazing! The 8 is also lighter, looks nicer and feels more comfortable on my wrist, it doesnt feel bulky at all, which is amazing considering all the upgrades to the display and AI features. Overall, I definitely recommend to everyone looking for an everyday smartwatch, you can't go wrong with the Watch 8.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a watch I never knew I needed. Firstly, I love training and this watch tracks my movement. I thought I was doing a lot of walking in just my everyday travels but know I KNOW I am.
It gives me a different reading on my kilometres to the treadmill which is a bit disapponting as I want it to say 5k which is what the treadmill reads but the watch always has it as less.
I am able to see how high my hearbeat raises to on the spin bike. It tracks circiut but iI am not sure what it is measuring.
I am yet to use it whist swimming. I know that I can but I am a bit wary that I may not press the lock water out bit. However I am most excited to use it there as I wantot know if it tracks my laps which will be brilliant and my speed per length. That will be very interesting

It let me see deeper into what I am actually doing when I go out for a run. I gave it to my son to test out as well and he was raving about the various features like body composition - which let him see his body fat % and so much more. My only problem with it is that the Bluetooth drains the battery very quickly which means that I cannot use it for sleep purposes which was the main reason I bought it. Apart from that, I really enjoyed using this watch and would 100% recommend it to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have upgraded my watch 6 to the Samsung Watch 8 and I am so impressed!
I was unsure about the change to the design but having tried it on my mind was completely changed!
It looks brilliant.
Set up was so easy, as I had a watch already I was able to set it up from the latest back up so my settings and faces were all transferred over.
I was really excited to try the new features I kept seeing advertised on my watch 6 and they do not disappoint.
I can now track my AGES index, vascular load, and Antioxidant level. The last one is really clever, you place your thumb over the sensor and it measures the build up carotenoids in your skin. It's really made me think about increasing my fruit and veg intake to get a better score.
The layout of the tiles is new too, you can now stack one on top of the other so they are grouped into categories or you could do it by your favourites.
Really excited to try out the running coach and I'll update my review once I have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The latest Samsung smart watch is not only just stylish but it performs very impressively aswell, the screen is a real standout to previous watches, nice and vibrant and easy to read.
The new Gemini integration works very well, everything is so easy to use and measurements, sleep, steps etc seem very accurate once compared with other smart watches on the market.
Battery life I'm averaging just over 2 days which for me is fine as I like to charge my devices upto 100% daily so all is good in that department.
Nice variation of watch faces and customisations to really make this watch unique to you and your personality.
Overall a really nice watch and have encountered zero problems since my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my first Galaxy watch and I swapped to the Watch 8 from the Watch 7. Alot of times when you upgrade on 1 year cycle the differences seem small. But having used the Watch for just over a week this does feel a different experience.
The OS - Watch 8.0 is smooth and looks really nice. Moving between tiles and apps has nice transition.
The screen brightness indoors and outdoors is fantastic, easy to read and phone like quality.
I haven't been able to use fitness aspects too much due to a small injury, but hopefully soon.
Battery life has been good, even though a bigger battery , I think the screen brightness means performance for the Watch 8 is about the same as Watch 7! But that's fine. Normal day off the charger of being at work for sometimes 12 hours stillnaround 70%.
The gestures seem to react quicker maybe due to the redesign of the Watch fitting closer to the wrist which is a good improvement.
Overall I would say it's a very good upgrade with a comfortable feel to it.

The feedback from the phone to the watch is seamless. And the fitness tracker, from heart rate to sleep quality, is nice, especially with Gemini AI, a nice quirk.
One thing I must say is the square and circle design is not appealing to me; I definitely prefer it to be a seamless circle. Another thing is the battery life; for the regular person, it will last the day and need a charge at night, which could be better.
But the positives outweigh the negatives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Turned up just before my holiday and has been great, used it all my trip away to keep an eye on my heart rate, step count and something I didn’t realise it supports, blood pressure - the health and fitness tracking along with the improved battery life of the newer watch let me use it for almost 2 days without needing to charge.
The watch is a much needed change from older Galaxy Watches that came before - much thinner footprint than previous models, and a display that’s bright enough to read easily in bright sunshine.
I am coming from a Galaxy Watch 4 and the performance is noticeably better, the OS on the device is much snappier and smoother in comparison. I didn’t realise that the GPS was quicker to lock and is definitely improved.
The only downside for the device is the newer style straps, which means they’re no longer a standard fit for a watch and are proprietary. Not a massive downside, but it does mean my old straps won’t work, but I’ll get some new ones!
Overall, fantastic upgrade and well worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with my new watch. It connected to my Samsung phone as soon as I turned it on, and it set up very easily. I have found it easy to work around the menus and get it set up as I want to. I have found the features really helpful in monitoring my health and exercise, and in encouraging me to think about what I eat and what I do.
My only issue is that this watch did not come with a C plug, so I was not able to use it until I purchased one separately. The charge also does not last much more than a day, so I need to find a time in my day to charge it regularly so it does not run out.
I find this watch comfortable to wear and there are other straps and protective covers available to personalise it.

The watch strap is such a shame - I have had the watch all of one week and the strap is already worn and discoloured... I have done perhaps 6 hours of exercise in that time and worn it for sleep tracking. How can you market a watch the be good for sleep tracking and fitness, but sell it with a band that discolours after 1 week? Very disappointing.
The watch itself is great to use - nothing special. Coming from the Watch 4, there is not exceptionally noticeable upgrade but it is smooth to use and the screen is clear. Nice a light also. Has a couple of laggy moments hopefully updates will iron this out. Battery life isnt great but its liveable.

I've found the options such as sleep apnea analysis, blood oxygen levels and skin temperature to predict period options to record whilst sleeping to be interesting ideas I had not thought about before purchasing the watch. I've found the watch comfortable to wear, even whilst sleeping. I think the design is sleek and not too bulky, but feels secure throughout wear. The watch is easy to navigate with a good sized face to check emails and reply to messages. So far I am enjoying wearing and using the watch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Watch 8 arrived in smart packaging. Inside there was the watch and cable for the charger. Unfortunately the charger is USB type C instead of normal USB, so I needed to buy a new adapter for it. The design of the watch is really smart and looks great on my wrist. I like that is sits flatter on my hand as this makes it a lot more comfortable than my previous smartwatch.
The Watch 8 was easy to connect to and to set up. It has a lot of cool features like Energy score, sleep tracking, Stress tracking, Breathing exercises. I was excited to try the Blood pressure and ECG features but I was unable because they are available only if your phone is Samsung too, and my phone is another brand. That was quite disappointing as it feels like part of the functionality of the watch is blocked for Samsung users only.
Another disappointing thing is the battery life. The battery lasts around two days with moderate use of the watch. That's a bit limiting, I expected better battery performance.
Overall the watch is comfortable, looks amazing and has impressive features, especially for Samsung smartphone users.

I was pleasantly surprised by the elegant and minimalist design – it looks luxurious, yet the watch is lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The strap is soft and stays firmly in place, even during workouts. Display is bright, crisp, and incredibly smooth – even outdoors in direct sunlight. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate between features and customize settings to fit my needs. Battery life exceeded my expectations – with daily use (notifications, Always On Display, sleep tracking), it lasts about 2 days, which I find perfectly acceptable. The only downside is the slightly longer charging time.
I mostly use heart rate monitoring, AGE index, stress tracking, workouts, and sleep tracking. The in-depth analysis of sleep quality, stages, and personalized recommendations are standout features for me.
While I love the overall design and functionality of the Galaxy Watch8, I was disappointed to find that it doesn't work with the original Samsung Dual Wireless Charger due to the strap’s position. It only charges properly if you remove the strap, which is frustrating and unexpected for two official Samsung products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used other watches before, and I have to say this watch is amazing! It feels like having a smartphone on your wrist, thanks to all the apps and features it offers. I've been using it for a week now, so it's gathered a lot of data about me and my lifestyle. Using this, it can provide suggestions and advice on activity and sleep times to improve health and wellbeing. I find this so fascinating and helpful in my day-to-day life. Having additional features like the weather app, WhatsApp, emails, and phone is so convenient, as I don't constantly need to pick up and turn on the phone. I can easily check everything from my wrist!
The display is great, especially in high light and sunny conditions, you can clearly see the screen, images and text are sharp. It's also very responsive to touch.
One thing it lacks is battery life, which is why I can only give this watch a 4 out of 5. I find myself charging it every 2 days, and it even takes more than an hour to fully charge. I understand that having all these features and sensors uses a lot of battery, but it's still definitely something that can be improved on.
Overall, it's still a great watch. The price is also reasonable. I would recommend this watch to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch8 is an excellent upgrade on my previous Watch7. It is lighter, looks more refined and is far more advanced!
I love the overall look & feel of the Watch8. The screen is bright and crisp. The 44mm is a great fit and the sport band is cool. The watch feels much lighter on my wrist and reassuringly it is tough and durable. I like the simple press-of-a-button to remove the strap. It’s so much better and stress-free.
Setting up the watch was seamless and I was all done within 15 minutes. The Wearable app on my Samsung phone brought everything over without any issues, including my health profile and watch face settings.
Speaking of health profile, my favourite feature about the watch is the energy score along side the sleep tracking and auto workout detection. I used it when swimming and it was spot on. The water lock feature comes in handy here. The waterproof rating of the watch makes it great for adventures and activities I like to do. The durability of the watch is impressive. The other health features such as stress and blood oxygen monitoring are excellent and I find myself using them to get a full picture of my health.
I absolutely love the Watch8! It is the perfect balance of form and function.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a twch savvy person but I have found this watch incredibly easy to use. There are simple manuals easy to access to help get u connected and how to navigate the watch. It's a lovely light watch with easy interchangeable straps which I think it's a lovely option. Good size face and wide selection of faces which u can customise. The only downside is the battery life, while the health apps are amazing to have it does drain the battery i haven't used the watch to it's full potential so I don't think it would last a full day if u did. I had to turn on the power saver to get around 1.5days use before charging. On the whole a really good watch and a good investment if u are always losing your fone at the bottom of your bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this watch to test against the Samsung watch 6 and it's definitely an improvement and I wasn't unhappy with it.
I think I've tried out all of features except for the running options. I don't run. The only thing I had an issue with was the hiking function on one occasion in that it paused and didn't restart so instead of a 5 hour hike it tracked 37 minutes. There doesn't seem to be an auto-pause on hiking but it thankfully was only a one off.
I do love the shape of the screen and that a lot more items on the screen compared to the 6. The battery lasts about the same time comparing to the previous models but this is on full power rather than battery saving mode. The watch 8 charges a lot quicker.
Well worth the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was taken aback by the sleek elegance of the watch. Its streamlined compared to its other counterparts. The buttons at the side are sleek and not too protruding. The strap is comfortable and neat and the end of the strap is comfortably tucked internally. The face of the watch is a giod size and it is bright and you can see it in all weather's (including bright sunlight). The watch took a little getting used to as I was using a predecessor which had a dial but once there it was easy to use and set up. It was very straight forward a d things were moved instantaneously from my old watch to new, with all my details. The accuracy of using it for activities, like swimming, treadmill, walking etc were much more accurate. The health apps for monitoring blood pressure, heart rate
and sleeping were great. The quality of calls were much better. Texting was a little difficult due to sausage fingers but yu can use voice messages. The battery has improved but wish it would last longer. The one thing I did not like is when the watch is low on battery, it goes into battery saving mode (which is good) but if it's nighttime it will not give full details of your sleep. The charger is fast so you are not without ur watch for long. I would recommend this watch and it looks amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The watch looks really nice, has bright display, variaty of features and is the most comfortable tracking watch I have had.
However, there are some negatives too - some of the features are available only for Samsung smartphone users which is quite restrictive. The battery lasts around 2 days with minimum usage, which is just not enough. Also, the sport band it came with started getting dirty after few weeks of wear - the sisal bits are getting darker, and the corners of the band are turning blue. It's quite dissapinting quality for a Samsung product at such a price point and makes me wander how long would the watch last.
While there are quite few positives of this watch, the negatives are a reason why I wouldn't repurchase it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm loving the new Galaxy Watch8 (40mm). I was initially hesitant to purchase the Galaxy Watch8 since I already owned the Watch6 and was concerned it might be too large for my wrist due to the bezel surround. However, after unboxing it, I was pleasantly surprised—it’s the perfect size! It fits comfortably, and it's actually slimmer and lighter than I expected.
Setting it up was a breeze. Transferring data took less than five minutes, and everything synced smoothly. The main reason I upgraded was for the new health features, and I’m happy to say they’ve exceeded my expectations. The sensor is incredibly precise and reacts quickly to steps, heart rate, and sleep tracking.
The battery has lasted me just over 24 hours, but during this time I used it to record three different exercises, read WhatsApp messages, and measure stress levels. The battery charged fairly quickly and even alerted me on my phone when it reached 100%.
It honestly feels like having a mini personal trainer on my wrist—it tells me when I’m fully rested, monitors my heart rate, alerts me when I need to rest, and even offers dietary advice. Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or looking to level up your current goals, I highly recommend this watch. It’s more than just a smartwatch—it’s a smart companion for your health.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded from a Samsung 6 watch to the Samsung 8 watch. I have always loved Samsung products and feel that Samsung always delivers on providing the latest technology, features, quality, and durability. It does not disappoint with this watch either. Samsung has built upon the great features it already had and has further improved them, such as the tracking, which seems to be even more accurate. The only thing that I was unsure on was the design where I felt Samsung could not decide if they wanted the watch to be round or square and I personally preferred my previous round watch but I would have also been happy if it was square without the circular watch sitting in the square. This is, however, just my preference, and it does not take anything away from the watch and its amazing features. The watch seems faster, and the battery life has slightly improved but only ever so slightly. I feel I still need to charge it in the mornings whilst I'm getting ready for work. If you are looking at purchasing a smart watch then I would highly recommend this one, it is great for those who want more from a watch then just telling the time, its great to track your daily workouts and steps and also for taking calls and checking messages on the go aswell as a convenient way to make purchases. I highly recommend purchasing the Samsung 8 watch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned several Galaxy Watches over the years, but my last one was quite an old model. When the Samsung Health app updated and introduced features like a running coach and more in-depth health insights exclusive to the new Galaxy Watch 8, I knew it was time to upgrade.
After a week of wearing it, I’m genuinely impressed. The level of detail it provides on my sleep, nutrition, and fitness has been fantastic. Over the past year, I’ve been trying to take my health and wellbeing more seriously, and this watch has become the perfect companion on that journey.
The display is noticeably larger and sleeker than my previous watch, and it fits comfortably on my wrist. I did swap out the original white strap for a more durable one since my job can get a bit muddy—I didn’t want to ruin it!
One of the most useful features is being able to receive and reply to notifications directly from the watch. If I misplace my phone, I can even ping it from the watch, which has been a real lifesaver. The battery lasts just over a day and a half, and I usually charge it while I’m showering or getting ready for bed, so it’s fully charged overnight. With lighter use, I imagine it could last even longer.
If you’re thinking about getting a new smartwatch—or even your first one—I highly recommend the Galaxy Watch 8. It works seamlessly with my Samsung phone and has given me a much better understanding of my health and fitness. It’s easy to set up, user-friendly, and packed with features that genuinely make a difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start off with the watch itself is simple and beautiful. Not bulky, easy to wear and light weight. Very comfortable too, I forget im even wearing a watch until I need it!
The amount of tech on this wonderful watch is incredible.
I have not used it to its full potential yet. I have many health sections to set up but so far its been a huge help. My heart is irregular so its great to keep an eye on what my heart rate is doing. I charge it once a day , generally when I am cooking dinner or something where I do not need to use the watch for measurements. The health app is wonderful again still in progress! Even the simple footsteps tracker is great to keep an eye on what you do throughout the day.
The screen is bright with huge detailing. My husband sent me a link on WhatsApp if bathrooms which amamzingly I could open and have a look at bathroom suits on my watch! The picture was perfectly clear and lots of details.
I have sent texts with type but its easier to tell the watch what to write.
I have walked around Tesco talking to my mum on loud speaker on my watch whilst my phone was in my bag.
This watch has blown my mind but I still have so much to explore and learn!
The ai is very handy when I need to ask questions like where the nearest kfc is or what is the weather going to be like tomorrow. I am amazed what this watch can do and yet still have so much to learn.
Connecting the watch to my phone was easy and personalising the watch was fun and easy to do too.
I would hugely recommend this watch to anyone and again Im still exploring!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is an impressive smartwatch. I am loving Samsung's move to the minimalist slick style.
The Galaxy Watch 8 is a squircle design which makes it thinner and lighter than the watch 6 but had me running off to purchase a pile of screen protectors for next day delivery due to my fears of it not surviving impact of kettlebells and barbell blast type classes I do. (Full disclosure: I had to change the screen protector on my watch 6 on average once in eight weeks).
The Watch 8 straps no longer lies flat, abrading your wrists if you do impact sports like boxing. The Watch 8 also has new health features like Vascular Load and Antioxidant Index which told me off for not having enough fruit and vegetables.
There are more gestures shortcuts like the double wrist twist to decline a call and knock knock to launch an application. All in all a pretty solid smartwatch.
Now to the reason its 4 instead of 5 stars in my opinion, The Watch 8 does not fit the samsung charging pads that allows you charge multiple devices at once. In this connected age when charging ability is at a premium, overlooking this integration is an interesting blunder. Once charged to 100% a full day (7am -11pm) -including 1 hour of active exercise tracking- used up 70% of the battery life!! I switched on the power saving mode to help it last longer and it does reduce your vitals monitoring ending at a respectable 43%.
If this is your first foray into smartwatches or you're considering an upgrade and value the latest technology and health tracking capabilities, the Watch 8 is a compelling choice that I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My much-anticipated new Galaxy Watch8 BT 44mm has finally arrived and I've just paired it up with my phone and the wearable app.
I’m looking forward to fully setting it up, so it is personalised for me. The initial set up though was a simple enough process and having paired it with my phone and my Wearable App login it brought across my data from my previous Galaxy watch, which was a big plus.
I have to say I was in two minds about the design, namely the square bezel, but upon opening and placing the watch on my wrist it’s no longer a concern – the clean lines and the discreet rounding of the corners blends in nicely with the round screen.
I was also concerned about going with the 44mm, thinking it would be too big for my small wrist, but I am pleased to say I’m glad I went with it and not the 40mm. The 44mm provides reading on my watch much more clarity without having to hold it closer to read.
It is so much lighter than my previous version and love the extra features right down to personalisation on the face. Makes it feel extra special and its mine.
The hybrid strap is comfortable (just a tad too long for my wrist), but nothing I can't live with.
Looking forward to fully setting it up and all the other features, namely the health apps which are great for keeping a track of yourself. Being able to personalise tabs and apps is a great feature, especially as I live in my watch and can keep up to date with messages etc. My last watch saved me when I was locked out in my back garden with no one around to shout for help, as I was able to message my contacts from it to get help – literally a life saver – I’m sure my new watch will come in handy in case I ever get trapped again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new watch for just over a week now, this arrived the day before i headed away to europe for a week, so it was perfect timing and has given me the chance to get used to all of the features.
First impressions: this is a really attractive watch, with a great screen and a very satisfying unboxing experience. Setting up the watch was a bit more fiddly. As this is my first Samsung Watch and I don't have a Samsung phone, I had to download a couple of apps and whilst I was guided through the process, some of the setup steps didn't work first time and I had to retry them. Once the initial set up was done, I then had the chance to get in to the more advanced stuff: connecting running apps, setting up wifi, setting up NFC payments. Thankfully these were all pretty straightforward and I could get in to using it for running, for day to day use and during sleep.
The watch has a new AI running coach - which assesses your running level. I am an experienced runner but I was forced to do the AI running coach in order to get access to the more advanced running options. But once I had access to these, the watch has all the tech that I would expect from a dedicated running watch along with some really nifty features - such as an assessment of your running symmetry, contact time and others that can help you take your running to the next level.
the watch also tracks key metrics of your health, including during your sleep and can provide you with some really interesting feedback on your sleeping patterns and help to coach you in to a better sleep pattern.
I wore the watch every day and night during my holiday and it was really comfortable - it's quickly become a constant companion and i've really enjoyed exploring all of the genuinely useful features. I'm sure there are even more that i'm yet to unlock.
I've hesitantly taken the step to upgrade from a dedicated running watch and so far I have absolutely no regrets - it was well worth the upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch is a perfect match with my S25+. I love the design. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is thin, light, and feels good to wear.
Its screen is very bright, so you can see it clearly outside.
It has many health tools like sleep tracking, running help and it reminds me everytime that I have to stay active or that I have been staying in a place for too long
The battery lasts about one day and takes a while to charge.
Overall, it’s a nice smartwatch with smart features, but the battery is just okay. I wish it could lasts longer so I don't have to charge it every night.
But still it looks so good on my hand. Always a samsung fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Comes in simple, clean packaging. It's so lightweight, it feels like you're not wearing it. My previous smartwatch, a different brand, was quite clunky, and I'd catch the watch face on doors and knock it easily. This doesn't happen with this watch. The profile is amazingly slim considering all the features and sensors it has. Love how many digital watch faces you can choose from to customise it. Cute animations and vibrations when you achieve goals help to keep you motivated. There are so many functions, I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what this watch can do. I'm getting a much more accurate step count, and I love that it has a speaker, so it can tell you how far you’ve walked. The sleep data is really detailed, and I'm excited to try out the sleep coach. There are loads of extra bits of content, like mindfulness and exercise tips. Great integration with Spotify (I can skip tracks and turn up the volume when I’m away from my phone) and using Google Gemini at the touch of a button is really handy. I’ve used it to send text messages to contacts quickly and to ask questions. The overall controls are very easy to pick up, the swiping motions and the two quick buttons on the side feel intuitive. It’s easy to customise the settings too, so you can add the apps you use most.
Cons: The strap is a little fiddly to get on and off, you have to really push the little release buttons, which someone with limited dexterity could struggle with. The battery life, I’ve charged it every day, which has taken some getting used to; however, I’d expected this because this watch is working hard all day tracking steps, breathing, heart rate, etc. So as long as you’re okay with that trade-off, then it’s not too big of a deal, just charge it when you take a shower. You do have to take some of the features with a pinch of salt, I tried out the anioxidant index and it came back very low, which means I need to eat more veg, which anyone that knows me, knows I eat the rainbow of veg and fruit everyday! So yeah, only you know how healthy you are and this watch is just a guide.
Overall I'd recommend this watch, it's smart, easy to use and can be customised to your needs, even better that I have a Galaxy phone, so it works so seamlessly with that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having the device for over a week, I can really tell that love my new Samsung Galaxy Watch 8. It has exceeded all of my expectations.
Although it may appear at first on a larger side, once it is on my wrist, it actually looks very sleek and slim. I went for the silicone band to make it good for every day use while still giving it a stylish, elegant look. I can change the display easily via the Samsung Wearable app – there is over 300 watch faces to choose from.
My main reason for the purchase was that, after a health scare earlier this year, I have become more interested in monitoring my health and well-being. This is where the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 beats all its competitors big time.
So far I have tested all the health tracking features and I feel that I now learned more about my body.
I can easily track my daily steps, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep pattern, stress levels and even my moods and my cycle!
With the use of Samsung Health Monitor app, the watch can perform a quick ECG, blood pressure (upon prior calibration) and also check for signs of sleep apnea.
I also love it how the watch reminds me to move if it detected period of no activity for over an hour. If you cannot get up and move, it suggests performing some stretches and even counts them with you. Same with breathing exercises – you can do these with the watch’s guidance.
Apart from the extremely useful health monitoring, the watch is a perfect smartwatch. I can view and reply to text messages and also take calls easily. I am on the move a lot and not having to keep my phone in my hand all the time makes it so much easier.
As for the more technical features:
The display is great – so bright and crisp – I can see it so clearly even in bright sun outside.
The battery originally lasted me just over a day but with certain setting changes (AoD and on by wrist shake; sleep apnea monitoring off) I have managed to extend it to 2 days or so. The good thing is that the watch charges really quick – I tend to put it on charge while having shower and by the time I finish, the battery is fully charged.
The strap and buckle are so sturdy, once it is on the wrist, it is impossible to fall or come out by itself if buckled properly.
Overall, great smartwatch and I would definitely recommend to others.

It’s not just a gadget — it’s something that genuinely makes daily life better.
First off, the display is crystal-clear and big enough to read without squinting—perfect for those who, like me, sometimes need a little help with the fine print. Samsung’s AMOLED screen is bright and colourful, so checking texts, calls, or calendar notifications is a breeze—even when outdoors on a sunny day.
The battery life is strong enough to make it through a couple of full days which is incredible, obviously mileage may vary depending on use cases. Put it this way I do not have to charge it every day!
What really sold me, though, are the health features. At this age, I like to keep an eye on how my body’s doing. The heart rate monitoring is accurate and reassuring, and there’s even irregular rhythm detection, which gives me peace of mind. The sleep tracking has also been a game changer — it shows not only how long I slept, but the quality of that sleep. I’ve actually made small adjustments to my evening routine thanks to what the watch has shown me. There’s also stress tracking and breathing exercises built in, which sound like a gimmick until you try them on a stressful day — then you realise how useful they are. Likewise the fall detection features are just simple but sensible additions - again being middle aged these things do cross your mind when out on a hike or cycle.
Setup on my Samsung S25 Ultra was as you’d expect a total breeze and the integration is top notch. Just tapped and paired—no need to read a hundred technobabble steps. It also syncs effortlessly with my calendar and messages, and yes, I can even take calls from my wrist when I’m in the garden—no fumbling for my phone.
Google assistant integration is also fantastic and flawless, just talk into the watch instead of having to go get my phone out.
To put it simply, the Samsung Watch 8 isn’t just for “techy” people — it’s a genuinely useful tool for everyday life, especially for those of us who want to stay healthy, connected, and in control of our routines. If you’re considering it, I’d say go for it. It’s stylish, comfortable, and genuinely makes life easier. Once you’ve tried it, you won’t want to go back to a regular watch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a bit sceptical of smart watches as I didn't want to have too much information bombarding me but Samsung have considered this. The Galaxy Watch 8 and Samsung phone work together perfectly to ensure you only receive the notifications you need on the device best suited to provide it i.e. they don't unnecessarily duplicate every notification you receive. This simplifies things for me and lets me live in the moment. Whilst not overloading me with information it has helped to inform me of my sleeping habits, performed an ECG, checked my blood pressure, monitor my blood oxygen and heart rate as well as the obligatory counting my steps. The watch is great, well made, waterproof, the screen is crystal clear and the case is very thin making the 44mm Galaxy watch 8 unintrusive on my wrist whilst remaining reassuringly tough and durable.
One feature that I really like is that you can link the watch to modes and routines on your phone. So you can change the watch face and complications depending on where you are, what time of day it is, what devices your phone is connected to at the time... This means for example I can have my work and personal calendars up on my watch at home, but switch to a simple watch face automatically when I arrive at work and tell the watch to go into power saving mode when I jump into my car... The watch faces themselves have become better and higher resolution over the years and now they truly are works of art, it would actually be worth Samsung revisiting some of the older watch faces and renewing them to the latest standards. You can also customise the watch faces by adding 'complications' e.g. swapping a weather forecast for a calendar next up etc.
The looks are probably the most divisive thing about the watch. I believe that Samsung have moved away from the circular watch to distinguish itself from the competition. The cushion fit design is very comfortable and I know traditional watch makers have made very successful analogue mechanical watches with similar designs. Samsung should have leaned a bit more into this by creating a haute couture metal bracelet or similar to go with it to showcase how radically traditional this design concept truly is.
Overall though this is an amazing watch, they've just got everything right with the watch it's a very comfortable watch with sufficient battery to track your sleep and activities for more than 24hrs easily and much more if you are aggressive with power saving mode.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I upgraded from the galaxy watch 5 40mm Bluetooth, to the galaxy watch 8 40mm LTE. First big difference is of course the design, particularly the shape. Honestly at first I didn't really like the shape, I do prefer the old style, but you do get used to it, and it's not as bulky as it seems.
Setting up the watch was so easy, I was able to easily transfer everything from my old watch and everything was done in a few minutes. Honestly I love when I don't have to take so much time setting up devices from scratch. I explored the new watch faces and found one I really liked, I was able to put my husband as a favourite contact on my watch face which means I can call him with just a click.
There's so many new features on this watch also such as the new health monitoring features, vascular load, antioxidant index and AGEs index. I haven't set up an esim for the watch yet, but i definitely will before going on holiday. You never know when your phone could get lost or stolen especially when you're in an unfamiliar place so having your watch and being able to make calls or use Google maps etc is great. Also sometimes when I got out for a walk or a run I don't like taking my phone with me. It's great to be able to still make calls and use maps etc straight from the watch. Also buds connect with the watch so you can listen to music without having your phone with you.
Another thing I forgot to mention is the strap. As soon as I held that strap in my hand I noticed straight away how different it feels from my previous watch strap. Its thinner, softer and so much more comfortable to wear. Honestly I love the strap! My watch came with a white strap, not my choice of colour so I'll be getting a different colour strap.
I noticed the battery life is so much better too, it's lasting me over 2 days. The way the tiles are set up has changed too, now you can have multiple items as a list on one tile rather than having so many tiles to go through. I use WhatsApp from my watch, listen to music, pay for shopping, read emails, answer calls etc.. I'm going to use this watch for years to come, only way to top this is if they add a camera for video calling, then I'd upgrade.
Honestly I love my watch and I'm very happy I got it. The watch is water resistant, so great if you're going in the pool or having a beach day and you get in the water. Don't need to take your phone with you, the watch is enough and won't get damaged. Definitely recommend getting the galaxy watch 8!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really impressed by the sleek design of the Galaxy Watch 8, the superb display and all of the incredible smart features. Having owned a Galaxy Watch 5 I was so excited to upgrade to the new Galaxy Watch 8, however this time I opted for the 44mm instead of the 40mm that I was used to. Upon placing my order for the 44mm watch, I was slightly apprehensive whether I'd made the correct choice I was unsure whether the watch would look too big, due to having small wrists. Personally, I don't feel this is the case at all and I'm extremely happy that I chose the 44mm as it just gives that extra space on the display, it makes it so much easier to see and read information such as notifications and health iinformation. I'd say the only downside to ordering a watch with a bigger screen is that you don't get to choose the watch strap size, with the 40mm a small strap is supplied, 44mm and above is supplied with a large strap, I'd much prefer if there was an option to select which size strap you'd require as the large strap is too big on me.
The set up process was incredibly easy and straightforward, after turning on my new Galaxy Watch a pop up came straight up on my phone asking if I wanted to set up the device, and offered to transfer settings from my previous Galaxy Watch. After a couple of minutes everything was set up and ready to go with barely any effort required. The most challenging part was deciding which watch face to use as there were so many that I liked.
The watch display is extremely bright and vibrant, meaning that even in bright sunshine it's still very easy to see information on the screen. I've also noticed a significant improvement in battery life compared with my Galaxy Watch 5, I can get almost 2 days out of my Galaxy Watch 8 and the charging doesn't take long at all, I've loved trying all the different features, for instance testing the antioxidant level and vascular load - it's very interesting seeing different trends in the health data. The automatic exercise detection works brilliantly as I always forget to start recording walks etc but after 10 minutes of continuous exercise the activity is automatically detected and saved. Having the LTE version means I can leave my phone behind and not worry about not being able to receive calls/texts/notifications.
I'd highly recommend the Galaxy Watch 8, the device comes packed with features and is a notable upgrade from previous devices, I can't wait to continue testing out all the features!

But after I a few days I realised they're amazing. I've been using this watch to help with my weightless journey. Witch has been a great aid . I've tracked my steps every day, logged my water intake. Logged my meals. I've lost 6lb with the help of this watch. I love the fact you can set daily goals to achieve its really helped motivate me. I also suffer with a heart condition called superventtriculartachycardia , and the egg on this watch has helped me log and catch episodes of this which is a great aid. Every day I'm discovering new things on this watch and I love it. At first I did find it quite big on my wrist, but got used to it and I am actually greatful for the big screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an amazing piece of kit. It can do so much and every time I scroll through the features I seem to find something else. I'm very impressed with the levels of customisation you can give to this. It connected easily to my phone. The watch is comfortable to wear and the battery life is just over a day but I'm sure as the novelty wears off it off.
The buttons have additional functionality and are easy to use. They dont stick out too much so you dont end up catching them or accidentally pressing them.
The standard watch strap is ok, trying to secure the 3nd of the watch strap can be a little tricky as it goes under the main strip and I do seem to keep pinching my skin.
Overall a massive thumbs up from me. I really am enjoying this watch and it does everything I need it to do and so so much more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new Galaxy Watch8. I upgraded it from Watch6 and I'm glad I did. It looks awesome on my wrist, seems to be much quicker and more responsive than my previous watch. Have few more health settings - still under testing.
There is only one "but"... I got it with sport band which is slightly bended / rounded. This make impossible to charge watch on wireless charging pads (not the one included with watch), because the watch not laying flat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an updated version of the previous models and of course comes with Gemini integration, that makes life a bit more easier at the touch of a button. Having used this for over a week, I can say that battery comsumption is reasonably improved, lasts about 2.5 days on average usage. ECG, blood pressure monitoring are quite accurate once calibrated. The usuals - Heart rate, sleep cycle, stress levels, etc. are at par with other watches. The energy score and activity auto-detection are spot on, kept it on whilst playing badminton, and accurately measures the intensity of the activity.
The amount of apps that the notifications are being sent on the phone are easily customised.
Along side the watch, the wearables app is quite easily integrated and overall it is a seamless process from unboxing to setting up and starting to use :)
Overall, a very refined piece of daily equipment that is a stylish, sleek watch :) Quite pleased with Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung galaxy watch 8 LTE What an upgrade from the samsung watch6, great new features, yet to use the 'running app' in samsung health but im sure this will be usefull on my fitness journey. Watch is very comfortable to wear love the new square frame round the watch face, gives it an 'edgy' look, the straps are alot more comfotable the outer rim of the screen seems to have a bit of extra protection which I love. But the battery is TERRIBLE I have never had to charge a watch so much, this doesn't last a full day and im really disappointed with the battery life. I have the LTE version this time although im yet to go out without my phone, but its nice to not have the constant notifications everytime the watch disconnects from my phone when im in another room.
Definitely would reccomend but I would like to see a fix for the battery life, not sure it will last more than 3 hours with the running app open.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving my new Samsung Watch 8. Huge improvement over my previous Watch 4. The fit is so comfortable and super light. I love how easy it is to change bands as I like to switch between the sports band and the hybrid band depending on what I am doing. Charges very fast although I do have problems charging on my Samsung wireless charger trio as the band does not lie flat so it does not connect. The display is crystal clear and response time is excellent. I make use of so many of the functions, there are very few I don't use. All in all I am extremely pleased I made the switch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the watch 8 for just over a week now, it has surprised me. I expected the usual upgrades that we tend to get these days, but there have been many improvements made here from the physical design to the the new software that runs on it.
The design is always going to be subjective, but I have fallen in love with it. For me it just works and works well, it sets it apart from the competition. The software has been a delight, free from lags and stutters, it glides through it's colourful layout with ease which enhances the experience. Battery life has actually been quite good, lasting well over 48 hours with mixed usage, this was an unexpected surprise.
For me the most important feature on a smartwatch is the health and fitness tracking. The watch 8 doesn't disappoint here. Heart rate tracking and sleep tracking are more accurate than ever, the new antioxidant index and vascular load tracking have been particularly helpful for me. It's these kinds of innovations which set this watch apart from the crowd
So far this watch has been impressive, I look forward to discovering more of its vast feature set.

Getting call and message alerts right on my wrist has made my days run more smoothly, especially when my phone is out of reach. Compared to my old, clunky watch, this one feels like a natural extension of my routine: easy, comfortable, and genuinely useful.

The watch face is noticeably sleeker, and for the first time it feels more like a stylish smartwatch that is feminine to wear — the slimmer profile and softer square curves make it look elegant without losing that modern, techy feel.
The display is gorgeous. It’s bright, sharp, and easy to see even in direct sunlight, and switching between watch faces is quick and fun. I like being able to match the look to my mood or outfit, and the overall design just makes every style pop. The watch itself runs smoothly, with no lag when scrolling through menus or opening apps, and the Bluetooth connection stays steady for calls, notifications, and music.
Health and fitness tracking is still excellent — I use the heart rate, sleep tracking, and step count daily, and they’re accurate and easy to check. The battery lasts me through a busy day and night, and the quick charge is handy to top it up while im getting ready in the morning.

Galaxy watch 8 is a great looking watch slim and not bulky, the Ai features are great and work well apart from sometimes when you summon Bixby nothing happens, that's the same with Google Gemini you say 'Hey Google' and nothing not like Google assistant that responds straight away.
All the Samsung health features work smoothly on the Galaxy watch 8.... battery life around 2 days but with battery saver on you can squeeze 4 days but you lose a few health tracking features. Other than that's its a great looking watch packed with great features very happy so far 👍🏻

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fell in love with my boyfriend Samsung S24 in 2024. Since then, we had two babies together. Earbuds 3 Pro and now Watch 8 40mm Bluetooth + LTE.
My baby didn't disappoint me, instead made me proud.
I am still figuring out all the features. But very happy so far.
Beautiful sexy design, looks sleek even on my thin arm, specifically love the two finger pinch dismissal of notifications, side button customisation, app notification settings. I haven't used the health tracking yet.
I would have loved to be able to manually lock the watch with the wrist detection turned on. But now I need to turn it off to be able to lock it manually.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After upgrading from the galaxy watch 6 to the galaxy watch 8 I can certainly say there's been big improvements made.
The battery life is a definite improvement - the watch will last all day with considerable use and exercise monitoring. And the charging speed is significantly quicker than previous models.
The watch is easy to set up and provides a great walk-through when you first use it to help get used to the features.
A large clear responsive screen makes day to day use a breeze.
Ive had many people compliment me on how smart the watch looks and its comfort fit means often you forget you're even wearing it.
The step count, distance and heart rate monitoring is all very accurate and I like how you can view day, week, month and year on the wearable app to compare your results constantly.
Ive always liked Samsung products, but this has confirmed my opinion that their products are well made, fashionable, and comfortable whilst constantly keeping up to date with the latest technology.
I look forward to continuing using the watch and more than likely finding even more useful features that I'll fall in love with.
5* product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a day to day smart watch in an affordable price category!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic LTE 44mm in Graphite for a little while now, and it’s quickly become part of my everyday routine.
The first thing I noticed was how solid it feels on the wrist. The strap is strong, secure and comfortable, so I don’t worry about it coming loose. It feels like a proper premium watch, not just a gadget.
What makes it stand out is how it works alongside my phone. Notifications come through instantly, I can check messages at a glance, and the rotating bezel makes it easy to move around without fuss. It really does feel like an extension of my phone, but more convenient because it’s always right there.
On the health and fitness side, it encourages me to stay active. It tracks steps, workouts, heart rate, blood pressure and even sleep patterns, which gives me a better idea of how I’m actually doing day to day. Even when I’ve been sitting too long, it gives me that little nudge to get moving.
The display is bright and clear, even outdoors, and with LTE I can take calls or use apps without needing my phone on me. That’s something I didn’t realise I’d use so much, but it makes a difference.
Since I haven’t had a smartwatch for a long time, I can honestly say this one has surprised me in the best way. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about getting one. It feels worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first time smartwatch owner, I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and convenience of the watch. From simply having a pleasant and changeable watch face to monitoring sleep and activity, the watches' numerous functions have become parts of my daily life.
I have found the sleep monitoring functions especially useful, as they monitor aspects of sleep such as REM sleep and movement which has been beneficial in understanding my own sleeping patterns which are challenging to monitor without a smart watch. During the day, the watch means I do not have to use my mobile device as often, as notifications show up that can be replied to, and applications such as spotify or weather can all also be used directly on the watch. The watch can also easily be turned into just a watch, or have notifications turned off to not be as distracting which ensures that it can be used at all times of the day.
However, having used the watch for a week the battery life has not lived up to expectations. While the watch can last approximately 24 hours on full charge, it still means regular charging is needed which can be inconvenient if the watch is meant to be worn the majority of the time.
Overall, I recommend the LTE 40mm Galaxy Watch 8 as I have found it an extremely useful tool in my daily life and enjoy all the amazing functions it has on offer.

The sleek design, the easy to navigate interface, the comfort when wearing this!! It really is an amazing watch. The sensors allow for accurate readings and I easily connected this to my phone. I really could just go on and on about this. Battery life is just over a day but I think thats because I'm testing everything out and wearing it over night too. When my Samsung health app updated and said that with the new Watch 8 a running coach was available along side more detailed health reports I knew it was time for me to upgrade.
I've been wearing the watch for a week and now and I am blow away with it.
The details into my sleep, my food and my fitness has been fantastic.
I've been trying to take my health and wellbeing more seriously in the past year and the new Watch 8 is the perfect partner.
Th screen is bigger than my older version and much sleeker. It fits perfectly on my wrist. I have bought a different strap as my job can get a little muddy i didn't want to ruin the white!
I can get notifications and reply to them straight from my watch which has been so handy when I'm not sure where my phone is, and when i want to find it, i can call it from my watch! I cannot explain how handy this has been.
The battery has lasted just over a day and a half, i tend to change it when i'm in the shower or getting ready for bed so it is fully charged whilst i sleep. It would probably last longer if i wasn't using it as much.
If you are looking for a new smart watch or even your first one, i cannot reccomend this watch enough. It works seamlessly with my samsung phone and has given me a new understanding of my health and fitness and my wellbeing and helping me to improve things across the board.
It is super simple to set up and really user friendly. You won't regret it

I mostly use it for step tracking, heart rate monitoring, and sleep analysis. Workout modes are easy to start and provide helpful feedback.

One of my favourite additions is the ability to send voice notes directly from the watch. It’s incredibly convenient when I’m on the go or mid-task and need to capture a thought quickly. Answering calls from my wrist has also been a revelation — the audio quality is impressively clear, and I’ve had no trouble understanding callers, even in busier environments.
Navigating through the apps is intuitive and smooth. The interface feels thoughtfully designed, making it easy to access everything from messages to fitness tracking without fumbling or frustration. Speaking of fitness, I use the watch to log my workouts and monitor my sleep patterns, and the insights it provides are both detailed and motivating. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Watch 8 44mm is simply amazing. I had the previous generation Galaxy smart watch and wasn't sure if it was worth upgrading, however I am so happy that I did. This watch is a completely new design, and I absolutely love it. I wasn't 100% sold on the design until I saw it and got my hands on it, and then I was immediately sold. The screen is simply stunning, so bright (a lot more so than the previous generation) and pinpoint clear in any light. The watch is lighter and thinner than the old one, and is the comfiest watch I have ever worn, full stop. The strap is soft and supple, and the new mechanism which attaches the strap to the watch is great and ensures the watch fits flush and snuggly on my wrist.
The battery life is perfect for my needs, and lasts about a day and a half or so. I charge it whilst Im getting ready in the morning, and its fully charged by the time I'm ready to go, and will then easily last 24 hours, even with extremely heavy use.
I use a lot of the Health features of the watch and they are brilliant and seem extremely accurate. I track my workouts and dog walks/runs, and it never misses a beat (pardon the pun!). The energy score and sleep score features are brilliant and do mimic how I'm feeling pretty well. The watch seems to magically just know when Im tired and when Im feel full of beans and energy, and 9 times out of 10, it is spot on.
The watch is simply and straight forward to setup, and I had it up and running within a few minutes. Apps, Notifications and personalisation features are easy to setup, and as you'd expect from Samsung, it all just works seamlessly.
A definite upgrade from the older model and I'm so happy that I took the plunge and ordered it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously had the Galaxy Watch 6, which I was disappointed with, I was given the chance to upgrade to the Watch 8. And what a difference. In the box came the watch, a band and the USB C magnetic charger. A quick charge and the watch was ready to connect to my Samsung phone. Step by step instructions on the watch itself guided me through the set up and before long it was ready to use. First thing I noticed was how easy the menus were to naviigate with smooth scrolling of the tabs. All my previous apps were there having backed them up from my Watch 6. I'm a amateur runner so I was keen to try the running settings. The watch detected my GPS location quickly, something the Watch 6 really struggled with. The first run detected my location a little bit irratic but from then on, I've had no issues with it tracking me. The watch version I've got is the LTE so I was able to answer calls using my watch only, and the caller and me could hear each other clearly. It tracks my step count daily as well as the quality of my sleep, although I'm still dubious as I'm tired all the time, despite a recorded 9hrs of good sleep! The watch has the abiility to use for Samsung pay but I don't trust myself with that feature just yet! The battery life is superb compared to my Watch 6, with only 23% battery used after a full day of activity including a run. The watch is comfortable to wear with the band being just the right size for my wrist. Be careful that you check your wrist size as there are two different sizes of band. I'm impressed with the watch so far, and I'm looking to try out the running coach, although it may end up in arguments as I'm stubborn when someone tells me to do something different! As my review title says, it is the best Samsung watch ever and I've not been disappointed with it yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having the device for over a week, I can really tell that love my new Samsung Galaxy Watch 8. It has exceeded all of my expectations.
Although it may appear at first on a larger side, once it is on my wrist, it actually looks very sleek and slim. I went for the silicone band to make it good for every day use while still giving it a stylish, elegant look. I can change the display easily via the Samsung Wearable app – there is over 300 watch faces to choose from.
My main reason for the purchase was that, after a health scare earlier this year, I have become more interested in monitoring my health and well-being. This is where the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 beats all its competitors big time.
So far I have tested all the health tracking features and I feel that I now learned more about my body.
I can easily track my daily steps, heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep pattern, stress levels and even my moods and my cycle!
With the use of Samsung Health Monitor app, the watch can perform a quick ECG, blood pressure (upon prior calibration) and also check for signs of sleep apnea.
I also love it how the watch reminds me to move if it detected period of no activity for over an hour. If you cannot get up and move, it suggests performing some stretches and even counts them with you. Same with breathing exercises – you can do these with the watch’s guidance.
Apart from the extremely useful health monitoring, the watch is a perfect smartwatch. I can view and reply to text messages and also take calls easily. I am on the move a lot and not having to keep my phone in my hand all the time makes it so much easier.
As for the more technical features:
The display is great – so bright and crisp – I can see it so clearly even in bright sun outside.
The battery originally lasted me just over a day but with certain setting changes (AoD and on by wrist shake; sleep apnea monitoring off) I have managed to extend it to 2 days or so. The good thing is that the watch charges really quick – I tend to put it on charge while having shower and by the time I finish, the battery is fully charged.
The strap and buckle are so sturdy, once it is on the wrist, it is impossible to fall or come out by itself if buckled properly.
Overall, great smartwatch , possibly the best on the market and I would definitely recommend to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a Samsung galaxy watch 4 previously. Can't run some Samsung apps properly that I used to run on previous watch due to permissions being so locked down.
New features like vascular load and Age's index not really helpful. Don't know what results should look like for some one my age. Using a Vaseline than comparing against a baseline can let you know if improving or getting worse, but doesn't tell me how I compare to my age group.
I don't feel like it's a massive leap forward. Much the same. Not worth the upgrade (so far).
Temperature should be able to be measured any time. Not just while I'm sleeping. Needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've found this to be a great upgrade from my previous smart watch. Not only does it have the expected features but there are some interesting features I hadn't expected. Included in the sleep record feature is a sleep apnea option which, provided you wear the watch during sleep for two nights, will check using blood oxygen measurements to give an estimate of whether you have signs of sleep apnea. There is also an option to record your temperature during sleep to predict your period. While I have selected this I have not had the watch long enough to determine the accuracy of this feature, but I think it's an interesting option to try. The watch also has an ECG feature to give an idea of heart rhythm and offers a blood pressure function. In order to use the blood pressure function a normal blood pressure machine is required in order to calibrate the readings from the watch so is not an option I have been able to utilise.
I've found the watch comfortable to wear and not too heavy on my wrist. I've been wearing it to record my sleep at night and it hasn't bothered me and hasn't come undone even though I tend to move a lot in my sleep. The band is quite thick and feels secure throughout wear. The bands clip into the watch face with a button to release them and again feel securely attached to the watch face. There are a variety of watch faces to try on the wearable app to suit people who want limited information on the watch face to people who want to see a lot of information. You can customise what information is seen on the face which is great. Things you can choose from include health related monitors e.g. steps and energy level and more day to day information such as weather and UV index. Even when selecting to have multiple pieces of information on the main screen the large clear display makes everything easily legible which is great also for replying to emails and messages. I've found the battery life great so far even though I am wearing it to sleep and during the day I tend to charge it for an hour or so before going to bed and the charge lasts, and generally still has around 60% charge at the same time the following day. I've chosen the option to only charge to 85% to save the battery so really it is only using around 25% currently during the night and throughout the day. Overall I would recommend for anyone looking wither to upgrade or get their first smartwatch as it is user friendly and provides options to track a variety of health aspects.

As a long-time Galaxy Watch user, I was both excited and a little nervous about the changes, especially the new design. But now that I've been using it daily, I can give you my honest, personal take.
First off, let's talk about the design. The "squircle" shape of the standard Galaxy Watch 8 is definitely a departure from the classic circular look. I'll be honest, I was skeptical at first. I loved how my old Galaxy Watch looked like a traditional timepiece. But after wearing the Watch 8 for a while, it's really grown on me. It feels incredibly modern and sleek. The thinner profile is a game-changer; it's so much more comfortable to wear, especially to bed for sleep tracking. The redesigned sensor on the back is also a huge improvement, making it less obtrusive against my wrist.
The display is, without a doubt, one of the best parts of this watch. The new brightness is insane. I've been out in bright sunlight, and I can see everything on the screen perfectly. No more squinting to read a notification. The colors are vibrant, and the always-on display is still a feature I can't live without.
Under the hood, the performance is just snappy. The new processor, coupled with the updated Wear OS 6, makes everything feel incredibly fluid. Switching between apps, scrolling through tiles, and using the new Gemini AI assistant is a seamless experience. Speaking of which, the Gemini integration is a cool addition. While I still find myself reaching for my phone for more complex queries, the on-wrist assistant is great for quick tasks like setting a timer or turning off the house lights that are connectedto Google.
Now, for the big question: battery life. This is where I have a bit of a mixed opinion. Samsung claims a consistent two-day battery life, and in my experience, that's pretty accurate if you're not a heavy user. With the always-on display, sleep tracking, and a 30-minute workout, I'm just about getting through a full day and a half. It's a noticeable improvement over my old watch, but it's not the multi-day battery life I was hoping for. The charging is still fast enough that it's not a huge inconvenience, though.
I'd recommend the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 to anyone in the Android ecosystem who is looking for a comfortable, powerful, and feature-packed wearable. It's a triumph for Samsung's wearable lineup, and a worthy upgrade for me.

The new, "squircle" design of watch8 is very innovative and esthetically pleasing. The display is very bright and a plethora of customised, useful info fits in. I'm amazed with the clarity of notification images received through our security system cameras. Connection with Galaxy phone is seamless as always with crystal-clear phone calls without separate SIM. There are even more health metrics added so there is no excuse for not taking care of one's health.The new, curved strap is very comfortable indeed, however, there is no way to lay it flat against the wireless charging pad... Samsung has managed to integrate AI in the Watch8 series, a truly unique feat! Watch8 is not just a pretty face but a remarkable digital companion to help us navigate through our hectic lives!

I love the fact that it has a running coach on it
Not too sure about the accuracy of the antioxidants bit though, as its tells me very low and to eat more fruit and veg, i practically live on fruit and home grown veg
Very comfortable, even if the standard strap is a little bit too long, and thinner than my last 2 watches
Unless theres any new MAJOR upgrades in the next few years, i cant see me updating from this one any time soon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an upgrade from my Watch 4, I wanted something smaller mostly for the health tracking as a nightshift worker and keen swimmer.
The watch is comfortable to wear and the perfect size for me. As only a small watch strap was included with the purchase I've bought a larger band in a funky colour which is comfortable and practical.
The functionality of the watch works well, I've added my cards and used it for texting alongside reading notifications.
The health features are mostly working well however today whilst swimming i noticed that it was adding lengths to my total pool lengths, that I hadn't actually achieved which is a bit disappointing.
The battery life I'm also finding slightly disappointing as it only lasts for around 14 hours so I can't go from day to night shift without charging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some thoughts, firstly, about the Watch 8, it's been refined further, and the biggest improvement is the fit on the wrist. I much prefer the flatter profile, which means the best fit to date and lets be honest fit is everything for comfort and measuring the big list of SHEALTH attributes.
Beyond that UI8 works its magic on the UI, still not sure about the pill format, but love the Now bar, battery seems a solid 2 days, build is great, screen seems allot bigger than its 44mm size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally received the watch 2 days ago. What struck me immediately was how slim it was compared to my previous model. It was simple enough to set up. The display is very clear and colours sharp. I haven't used all the features yet. Notifications come through as expected as well as messages and calls. I can answer calls and the audio is clear.
Will update again after a few more days usage.
The only odd thing is the watch face is round but within a square bezel!

I am delighted with my upgrade from the samsung watch 6 to the 8 44m Lte, the new edgy screen is brilliant the added running coach will help me massively on my fitness journey and the strap seems much more comfortable, not as 'sticky' or stiff. I have worn it for over a week now the only down point is the battery, I dont seem to be getting a full day out of it before it needs charged again, al which is disappointing considering my watch 6 lasts at least 2 days.

The watch is very light, well build, with a premium eye-catchy design.

It's my first experience with a Galaxy watch and beyond buzzing for it.
I really enjoy all the Health screening features, such as ECG, blood pressure, sleeping tracker. The watch does all the usual heart rate checks, stress levels monitoring and so much more.
I am really looking forward to test the Running coach - after you've ran for 12-15 min, the watch will produce a personalised plan for you.
And secondly, the sleeping coach - after 7 nights of tracking the watch provides you with valuable insight on your rest and sleeping habits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the watch at the galaxy experience and found it an amazing marvel of technology. The sleek oled display with it's modern interface and the integration with Google services are all very nice, especially the gemini integration. While I haven't experienced the battery for myself, my friends who used it say the battery life is exceptional. I appreciate that it has cellular connectivity for calls to and the heart rate sensor is a big plus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this watch a couple days ago and I am so impressed. Upgrading from an ageing Watch4, this new watch is so comfortable to wear, the cushion design is surprisingly nice and it's growing on me. The only downside tho is that this watch does get get damaged pretty easily, like I already have a range of small cosmetic marks. Also, I am fairly certain that my watch actually came with some as well, which is a bummer, so maybe quality control is not the best. That being said, I have come to embrace the marks as I believe they make it truly mine, and the rest of the watch is just top tier. It's so smooth, the battery is so legendary, and overall it's great for all aspects of my life.

I love my Galaxy watch. The upgrade is really helpful. I feel like I have a lot more information about fitness and can track my diet, sleep, and exercise quite closely, which makes it much easier to make changes and improve my overall fitness, and see the benefits of that. Also, it looks really stylish. I got the classic watch, and I like the bezel and overall look and feel

It has a beautiful design and is comfortable to wear, but the battery only lasts about 12 hours. I've disabled app notifications and GPS, but I can't get any better performance. I use the device to sleep and measure my blood oxygen. I usually sleep for 9 hours and charge the device before bed. When I wake up, I have to charge it again. Frustrating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using it for a while now, and it has become part of my daily rhythm. The design feels refined — I love the more square look, yet it’s still smooth and recognisably Samsung. It’s comfortable and doesn’t dig into the wrist after a long day. I think 44 mm is the sweet spot — not too small to make the screen usable, and not too big to feel bulky.
I love the AMOLED screen, which is really bright even in extreme sunlight. For me, the battery holds up well, especially considering the exceptional performance of this watch. It’s snappy and fast. I also love that it automatically recognises my workouts, like running and cycling.
Taking calls when my phone isn’t next to me is a real game-changer. The quality of the microphone and the speaker is exceptional.
There are tons of watch faces to choose from, with some of them being dynamic.
Overall, this is a real upgrade from previous generations, and I’m sure it will serve me well for years to come.

The display is clear so if you are desperate to catch up on your shows you can watch it on the screen! Battery life is also improved so you can keep going without charging it every day
