Galaxy Z Flip7

Within 10 days display broken while opening very poor quality. I claimed insurance but they only offered 70 percentage of money , they don't have stock to replace and repair scheme ..I loss my time my all data's...and money as well I am very unhappy about this phone. I will not recommend to buy this phone

I'm delighted with the latest iteration of the Z Flip! I particularly love the innovation of the new, super thin body, slightly angular contours and the wider and larger screen, not to mention the gorgeous new colours (coral red is the one for me)! The cover screen is also larger, measuring a massive 4.1" "flex window", allowing for more widgets to be added via the main Settings and Good Lock, all of which --including Banking and Wallets-- can be used effortlessly and flawlessly without the need to extend the phone. The battery is also significantly larger at 4,300mAh. Although the camera hardware remains unchanged at 50MP main, 12MP ultra wide and 10MP front one, the experience is improved with enhanced software processing, including better low-light performance and richer colour reproduction. The Flex Window now supports Real-Time Filters, a new zoom slider, and Dual Preview mode, letting both the photographer and the subject view the shot live. AI is omnipresent universally with the latest features, including object eraser to edit and enhance both photos and videos. There is, of course, seamless connection with other members of my Samsung family like Watch/TV/Soundbar/JetBot and even other brands via the SmartThings app. A compact powerhouse with both the brains and the looks!

The display failed twice inside the same 28 days. I got a replacement for the first one fairly quickly. Now the second has failed in exactly the same way. I have spent hours trying to get a return code for the second one.

I love the look, feel and the convenience of my flip. I know there has been a lot of discussion on the chip, but i have had no issues, and i have found the phone a joy to use. We have 3 flips in the family, my wife and daughter have a z flip 6 each, and i have a 7. My son who games a lot, has the S24 Ultra for the power. However, all 3 flip users are very happy. I use my flip to process the raw files from my fuji camera, using both Lightroom and the ai features in Ui8. No issues, no crashes and works a treat. I am a total convert to the Flip world.

I love the phone .. but unfortunately in less than a monthe the screen has cracked right across the fold

My previous phone was the Galaxy Fold which I loved but the crease went black and eventually expanded I could no longer use the phone in the open position. This happened after 2 years of use. I was hoping to get the latest fold but it was so highly priced on our business contract I couldn't justify the outlay so instead I settled for the ZFlip. I don't like this phone, in the closed position it is awkward to open which is my main gripe. The camera, like all galaxy phones, is excellent but I miss the larger picture. As I haven't used the AI function I can't comment on how good it is but I couldn't complete the survey without giving it a star hence 1 star.

The phone itself is pretty good performance wise the camera is excellent ive dropped it numerous times due to work its been covered in oil and grease and just wipes clean the rear display is ok as if im busy theres no need to fumble with it seeing whos calling ,the only downside to it is the battery life i use it a lot as a sat nav the app i use seems to drain the battery which its never done before on any of my other galaxies and ive had them all since the s9 all in though im glad i got it ...

I given the samsung z 7 flip phone 3 star because honestly I have had better phones for less the money the camera is truly basic nothing to shout home about so whoops u can use the AI system on to remove objects out of your photo but Google was doing that first the rest of the nothing really to shout home about but what annoying me is the fold in the screen when the phone is fully open there is a massive dip running through the centre of the screen and is awful when having to scroll down.

Absolutely love this phone. Was a bit dubious at 1st as heard the stories about the screens on the old flips. But this phone is another level. Small and compact. Lightweight. And has some great features. The camera is so so much better than my s23 fe. The battery is so much better to and I'm on my phone alot for emails etc. The display is so clear even watching old programs the quality is fantastic. I have admittedly dropped it onemce and it withstood it very well. No marks or anything. The software runs very quickly and had no glitches since having it.

I loved my flip until this morning! What I don't love about my Galaxy flip now is the new One UI version, which I put on this morning. This upgrade has made it almost impossible to use. I just installed it and there was no warning that it would make everything look different and make it very difficult to navigate from one page back to the alien home page. The phone icon isn't even on the front page any more and I am frustrated to tears. I have had many Samsung phones over the years but I have never been this annoyed with one yet. I am looking at ways to restore the old look as this is just horrible

I absolutely love my Z7 flip. I had an ultra before which was fab but too big for pockets. My Z7 flip is perfect, same size open with its big screen but also so comfy in my pockets and a cute cover screen that is packed full of fun to personalise but practical and versatile use too. I have loved getting to grips with this powerful but cute phone and it has given me lots of fun during customisation. There is nothing I don't like BUT I would love a macro camera lens then it flips the ultra into second place. It is that good four out of family of six have the Z7 with at least one waiting for the Z8. I also absolutely love AI Gemini, it is truly awesome. I am hooked and have not been this excited and content with lots of fun since my first smart phone. I have the coral red, hubby has blue shadow, loving the colours. 10 out of 10 across the board.

I love everything about samsung phones, and won't use anything else. Upgraded from my flip 6 to 7. Initial delivery had a small defect on the screen protector, so a replacement was arranged. This one was fine. All works as expected. Just looking forward to my free gift and some cashback as part of the promotions. I never buy from anyone other than samsung directly now. Amazing deals, meaning with trade in and nhs discount, im only paying 30/month for 12 months for a new flip and a watch 7, with an additional £75 back on top. When i bought my flip 6 there was a similar deal with a gifted chrome book. You don't get that kind of service and cost effectiveness from the Fruit folk 🍏 😆

My new pre-ordered Samsung Flip 7 can't do video calls with Whatsapp. I had it 1 month. Camera works ok by itself, other apps can do video call. Samsung support say it is out of scope of them as it is a 3rd party application and they won't fulfill the warranty. I am stuck with a new expensive phone I can't use, as Whatsapp video call is an important part of my daily life. I have to spend more money to buy another phone.

This happened just over one month after purchase, meaning Samsung would not offer a refund or replacement—only a repair. The timing could not have been worse. The broken screen completely ruined my Christmas period, as I was away and unable to contact family and friends. I also could not use my phone for business purposes, banking applications, or essential daily tasks, which caused significant disruption. This phone was an upgrade from the Samsung Flip 6, which had numerous issues including constant screen problems, apps freezing, and severe battery overheating, especially when connected to a car via cable or wireless charging. I was explicitly assured by a Samsung representative that these issues had been fully resolved in the Samsung Flip 7, and that I would not need to worry anymore. Unfortunately, just a month later, I experienced the same problems again—screen failure and overheating. When I requested to return the phone or exchange it for a non-foldable model, I was told this was impossible as the device was just a few days over one month old. This felt completely unreasonable, especially as a long-term, loyal Samsung customer who owns many Samsung mobile and home devices and has trusted the brand for years for its reliability and quality. Regrettably, that trust has significantly diminished with the Samsung Flip series. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering a Samsung Flip device to think carefully before purchasing.However, the recurring product issues and rigid policies have left me extremely disappointed with Samsung overall.

I've had the z flip 3 and 5 and now I own the 7.it has got better and better. The 3 major things I've noticed especially coming from the z flip 5 are the 2 obvious ones which are the outside folded screen being full size now, the phone being bigger(taller and wider) and the least obvious that needs to be mentioned is the crease, it's barely noticeable both in viewing and particularly feel as you run your finger across the centre where the crease is, I remember just how noticeable it was on the z flip 3 and 5 but now samsung has sprinkled their magic dust on it and it's fantastic. It's such a beautiful looking phone when open and closed. I love placing my new phone on a coffee table when out for a coffee with it folded in half. I've had many curious looks and questions at work, it's it to everyone's taste but most are really impressed as am I. I love the blue colour I've gone for. I'm sure it's been made a tad tougher to take a few knocks but the first thing I always do just before I get a new phone or almost any gadget is invest in a screen protector (in this case for the outer screen) and a case (in this case a clear one). So far I'm really enjoying finding out new ai features and getting the phone set up to suit me. Excellent job well done samsung. Just one little tiny itsy bits negative comment to samsung which strangely isn't to do with the phone but the free watch that comes with it, for me anyway I received the watch 8 40mm with a very tight short strap, make them a little bigger please as I've not got tiny wrists but neither have I huge ones. Yes before anyone says anything I did order a standard length strap and yeas I know it's a free watch, but just wanted to mention that. Please feel free to get in touch samsung if you feel in a good mood and would like to send me a spare strap, I'd definitely welcome and appreciate it. Thanks for reading.

The experience of switching from a a pixel device to the samsung flip has been challenging, the battery is notably better and I appreciate this, the camera is not as functional day-to-day. The device does not connect to my audio advanced features and when giving feedback, I was informed to contact audi instead. That feels like a displacement of responsibility as I am the end user who purchased an expensive device which does not work. This is a disappointment. As a flip device, it is a nice novelty. The functional impact of not being able to carry out my day to day activities is disappointing. At present, I doubt i will continue past 6 months. The free case provided was a nice offer. It does not remain on the device and I'm looking at a replacement.

The cover screen is almost entirely pointless. It's so fiddly to get anything on it! I just want notifications to appear on the cover screen, like they do on the front screen - but instead my only option is the ridiculously pointless "Briefing" button. The few things I CAN get on the cover screen, they don't even go full screen unless I mess about for ages to get each app to do it. The screen is absolutely poor in sunlight, all I can see is my face. It's called a "flip" phone, but I can't flip it open. It's just not possible to open with one hand. The screen looks like a sticker that could peel off! I would not in a million years have bought this full price. Also the AI is intrusive.

I always wanted one but my friend got the z flip 6 and after a year still said he wouldn't go back. So I got the z flip 7 and he was right, these phones are amazing, i don't know how they managed it in a folding phone but ive never needed to charge during the day and I used to have to carry around a battery bank everywhere and thought it would be the same. But not at all. The ai features on this phone are amazing (although don't buy it for them as they are on all samsungs newer phones) I'll be using them without even thinking about it to do random mundane tasks I still think it's a miracle these screens even function. And the crease in the middle takes less than a day to completely forget about, you only notice it if someone asks 'how bad is the crease tho?' Which happens alot. Display is bright, no blur no blooming. Now for the actual feature people want to know irs worth it. How usefully is the cover screen, all im gona say is definitely install goodnotes. It's a must have on all samsung devices but especially the flip. It's made by Samsung and adds a tonn of features for the people who want control of their experience. The durability is a lot better than expected but don't push your luck with it, if you've got clumsy friends that might drop it while it's open.. don't let them use it? It won't break from one drop but unlike other phones it gets worse the more you drop it because it's very prone to dirt damage in the hinge. Lastly the camera is amazing if you want alot of freedom with where and what you do with it. The folding aspect is so well integrated it's crazy. I have used it to prop the phone to film things and check on it multiple times and it's great!! It is it's own stand. Who needs those silly cases with the stand am I right. Oh on the note of cases, I personally love the colour of the flip so I don't have one but dbrand is the only company I've found that makes rly well thought out cases for this phone and it's unique performance status. Absolutely loving the Flip 7 - I've upgraded from a Flip 6 and it certainly feels far more premium than the prior model. The hinge feels a LOT nicer than the previous model, and even though the camera spec is the same, both the selfie and outer cameras seem much better quality! The UI and AI features are great. The screen size is much nicer (wider and taller), and the cover screen feels top-spec and is far easier to use. The battery life is better, but still not as good as other phones - I find myself always having low-power mode on which inhibits my friends' and family's ability to see my location which is a safety concern. Aside from this, it is still a marked improvement versus the Flip 6.
