The display is quite impressive, crease has decreased an AMAZING amount, I am quite clumsy so the phone has fallen and survive every fall, on hard tiles, brick and carpet! Hope to see charging 2.0 tho, as the battery takes a while to charge. The camera is absolutely amazing! I use it to take pictures of flowers all the time, but the performance is okay. It is great while playing games but struggles to play YouTube above 1080p, but it may be a me issue. But I have tried to apply a silicon case to it and found out that the phone corners are really easy to accidentally bend, and now the top left corner (when unfolded) is slightly bent outwards and doesnt sit fully flush with the other side, like a millimeter or two off.

Please do not buy this phone. I have a fold z 4 and 6th month in the hinges so stiff. Waste of money and samsung should recall their fold 4 experimental device. You try to exchange and they give you a price that's not even half or what you bought for.

My first Fold, before I had the s23 Ultra which I loved, however it was to big. What I love about the Fold is when it's folded it's small and light, and when you need the bigger screen it unfolds beautifully. Also the camera is amazing! I have some amazing portraits, editing on the large display is great. The battery life isn't bad either considering the powerful performance. I am fully converted to the Fold and LOVE IT.

I got the Fold 7 on the 22nd of July. I smart switched from Fold 6 to 7. That is the longest time I used the Fold 7. After that, I put it back in my phone pouch. Every day I would look at it and admire how thin it is. But upon looking on the 3rd day, I noticed that it was not fully flat when I unfolded it. For a phone this expensive, it shouldn't have this kind of issue. I don't like the replacement journey. It was a hassle and overwhelming. I should not have ordered the Fold 7; my Fold 6 is a year old now and some days, and it is still flat when unfolded. I regret buying the fold 7.

I received this phone in October 2025. On December 15, I noticed a yellow tint on the screen, which also caused it to flicker. Since the phone is still under warranty and looks brand new, I took it to the Samsung store for repair. I was assisted by an operator named Erikas at the Stratford Westfield store, who provided extremely poor customer service. After inspecting the phone and confirming it was still new, he claimed that a tiny, almost invisible dot on the screen was a “dent” and said this meant the issue could not be repaired under warranty. This makes no sense. Samsung advertises that this phone can withstand over 3 million drops, and my phone has never experienced any major fall or damage. In fact, when I purchased the phone, several relatives and friends warned me about similar issues. They told me they had experienced the same problem themselves, or knew others who had. This phone is not cheap, and issues like this clearly indicate a manufacturing fault. It should not still be in production. I will be taking further action with Samsung and making others aware of this problem. This product is misleading, and I strongly advise people not to buy this phone.

I purchased my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 on 24th June from Trafford Centre, Manchester. Since then, this issue has happened several times: while sending emails or performing other tasks, the screen suddenly freezes and remains unresponsive even if I exit and return to the application. Its my 10th or 11th Samsung I'm using, and honestly I regret for last 2 times i didn't switch to something else other than Samsung. My Samsung S23 ultra had a stylus and better camera than brand new flagman Fold 7 which ridiculous. Its impossible to draw anything without stylus meaning wide screen is useless for art. Internal Screen was replaced after 10 days of use just because of poor durability. After almost 8 months, there are still no updates for camera which resolved the issues, especially in night mode. Iphone 13 has a better night mode camera than 2025 brand new flagman phone. Good side, it's good phone for the meetings as it fits all presentations and its great for reading books.

No great shakes! My Z Fold 4 did everything my 7 does and it's camera was better in every respect! I use the camera a lot so that's a huge disappointment. On the whole I'd have been better off getting my 4 fixed (thanks, Samsung, for a crappy ribbon cable and black screen of death) than 'upgrading' to the 7!

The camera image quality is poor if you zoom in by more than 20x. It's grainy and pixelated, not something you would expect from a £2000 phone which is advertised for its image quality and 200 MP camera. I take concert and wildlife photographs so this is completely useless unless I'm within 3 metres of the subject. I think Samsung needs to think about the misleading advertising in future.

Lighter and thinner than my pevious Z Fold4. Superb cameras and screens. Using it with Dex and a folding wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and portable screen. No need for my laptop at all. For really heavy use I sometimes carry a powerbank. It really is all I need.

I got the Samsung z fold 7 September last year and in January the phone has split at the hinge common fault there’s no physical damage or water damage to the phone is it on prefect condition and sky and Samsung are trying to charge me for the screen £700 even though it’s still under warranty. Im not having to go to ombudsman for help please people do not get this phone !!

New fold7, had less than 2 months old the screen cracked in exactly the same way as my fold 4 did. Off course Samsung denied the warranty repair. Off course they claimed I had dropped it, despite them being unable you find any marks on it. So many, many other users have expierenced exactly the same manufacturing fault, and all have had their warranty claim denied. Please see YouTube, forums and Facebook groups. I had hoped the problems with the Fold 4 would have been engineered out by now.sadly this is not the case. Best avoid the fold screens and stick with a fixed screen. After 15 years with Samsung, its time to move on. Disgraceful way to treat so many once loyal customers

My Fold7 lives up to its expectations, with much improved camera quality, efficiency and performance is much improved, making up for the smaller battery size. The main and cover displays are both smooth and snappy either perfect colour and the larger inner screen is great for multitasking. As for design, the Fold7 looks stunning with the classic Samsung 3 camera design, impressively thin and durable.

Unfortunately have to give this phone a 1 star, not so much for the phone itself but for the abhorrent service received by Samsung in regard to a known defect with the phone and refusing to fix it within their warranty. The inner screen only lasted 11 months before it went green and stopped working. Samsung have refused to fix it claiming it has "impact damage" on the hinge and punctures on the screen. This was after their Liverpool store rep dug his thumb into the screen thus causing the "punctures". The so called "impact damage" they claim they see is a small scuff that happens to be on the hinge and would not in any way have caused the screen to do what it did. Absolutely appalling service from Samsung and as such they have lost 2 customers because neither myself or my partner will be continuing with Samsung in the future, even after emailing the CEO line they have stood their ground. I always thought highly of Samsung but unfortunately that has now changed.

Great idea and worked lovely for the first couple of months,until the internal screen broke ! Phone never been dropped and hardly opened as I don't really have that much of a need for tablet mode but the inner screen developed hairline cracks along the hinge line and the screen is now black with green and white lines across . Sent back for repair but only to be told its not covered by warranty and would cost £650 to repair !! Poor effort from Samsung and has definitely put me off buying anymore of there phones . My s24 ultra was immaculate after 1.5years and part exchanged for this rubbish . Dont buy the fold ,they are not robust enough even for the lightest daily use This is an extremely expensive phone and not worth it

I had a broken pixel on the interior screen within the first month. Samsung said likely due to some sand or debris getting caught on the interior, so not covered under warranty. I've had Samsung Fold phones before and not faced this before, so the fragility of the Fold7 is a worry, especially considering you need to pay to repair. Also Battery life not great, doesn't last a full day for me, need to re-charge before the end of the day. It's the first time I have been disappointed with a Samsung phone in 15 years owning them, so sadly this will be my last.

I have been wanting a fold for the last 4 years, I finally 8n a position to get one and I'm so disappointed. I love my Samsung previous phones and I have had the Notes, Ultra in many series all great phones but the Fold 7 reception is so poor its almost completely unusable. I still have my S23 Ultra and it gets full bars of reception on the exact same EE sim card where i get 1 bar on my brand new Fold 7 90% of the time unless I am near a high street. It renders the phone almost unusable i have drop outs ever single day without fail, often hard to hear because signal so poor. The phone when on wifi is great but its just not practical, Im at odds at what to do for recourse. I will be trying to get my money back or another series phone.

I will rate galaxy z fold 7 as the best smartphone that I have used so far. The level of freedom that the screen provides is excellent, especially for media comsumption and opening two screens side by side. The reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is beecause of battery, would really appreciate if we could get 6 hours of SOT. At present I am getting 4 to 4.5 hours and around 125% battery usage per day on average. Also would like to see a better telephoto camera, hopefully 50 mp at least 5x. Rest I am extremely happy, probably the happiest after a purchase that I have been since a long time regardless of price.

I've slowly been turned round to Samsung after using many brands of Android. I have held out for a long time for getting a folding phone, and I finally decided that the form factor of the Fold 7 was what I wanted. Aesthetically it is beautiful. Despite opening it and immediately putting it in a case, it is still sleek. I use it screen open a lot of the time and despite this, whilst the battery isn't record breaking, it's not terrible and will last the whole day normally reaching around 15-20% by time I'm spent for the day. The subtle tweaks such as having 2 different backgrounds, 1 for the folded screen and 1 for the inner screen and the fact that the outer screen now has a wider screen than any of the fold series before makes it extremely nice to use. That and the fact that folded it is barely thicker than my S25 ultra in a case make it an absolute pleasure to use. My major letdown is that fact that as I write this after around 5-6 weeks maybe of ownership, the inner screen has failed. I have the phone booked in for a drop off with Samsung in central London at 7pm tonight to get it sent for repairs. This would be acceptable if it was considered a rare issue. However when I contacted my carrier, they stated that this is so regular that the repairs are going through Samsung direct and not via themselves and that they are hearing of a lot of refused claims based on "damage" to the phones voiding their warranty with 1 person earlier that day being told that despite no signs or external damage, that they would still be liable for the repairs to their handset. Obviously this is someone else's experience However I am now in a situation where a phone I have spent an obscene amount of money on hasn't even lasted a clean 6 weeks and I may now have the same kind of scrutiny for a piece of equipment I have looked after that has simply failed on me. I may re assess the score based on their customer service in this situation but right now I can only hope that they can sort it and based on the frequency that it is supposedly happening, I also think I'll have to keep hold of my old handset as a back up!!!

So far it's been a pretty good experience, fast fingerprint and facial log in, quick responding display and apps. However 3 things are not so great. 1, Battery life, I'm not a heavy user but I can easily get down to 15% before the end of the day, which is a worry. 2. Camera bump, not ideal, to keep the phone from wobbling around i have to lay it face down, and if I use open with it on my desk I'm concerned with damaging the phone. 3, The square corners, they dig into my palm so not great for comfort and it means I use it on my desk more, see 2. Performance overall is good though not 5 stars good but more 3.5 good

The battery is very bad, it cannot handle two continuous hours of use, and there are some annoying things in the applications that if I want to go back, I have to exit the application completely.

I love the thin factor on the phone and how it feels durable in the hand. Performance is very good, handles multi tasking like a champion. The cameras could have been better as the z fold 7 is a flagship device with the price to match, but the camera seem to lack with zoom focus. The battery doesn't last a full day for me. Taking the spen away has been a let down by samsung for me, having all the multi tasking and not having the pen. Which now really needs to be in the phone. The display is great but giving us the anti reflection display on the s series and not putting in the z fold display has been a let down.

The z fold z is very thing and the outscreen feels so much better compared to what is use to look like, which is bigger . I wouldn't mind a few more inches on the outer screen and definitely a bigger battery. After so many years this is needed . Other companies are doing and things that samsung definitely needs to improve on and a reason why not everyone will nit purchase a samsung z fold 7. Make these changes and yiu will have the world at your feet. If other companies are do what customers want why dont samsung or make more than one z fold with other features to appeal to everyone. The performance of the phone is outstanding as to be expected, the build quality feels a huge step up from the previous designs and the colours options are amazing. For me unfortunately the battery is a deal breaker, it's not quite enough to get me through the day, and I also find the camera performance to fall short of rivals, particularly the oppo models. The display is outstanding, the brightness is great and the outer display is crisp. My only complaint regarding the design is the narrow/tall closed format, and the corners are a little sharp and can become uncomfortable if using for a long period of time.

Awful phone and customer service. Supposed to be water proof but the phone was in 15cm of water for a few seconds and the front screen has broken and condensation behind the camera. Should be a warranty replacement as it's not up to the claimed IP rating. Samsung are charging me for a repair/replacement AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was surprised how much more thinner it was to my Fold 6, and slightly larger screen is great. And also the fact it is lighter than the 6. So far, after 24 hours I am impressed with the camera, it's performance and everything appears sleeker, including the screen, the apps and it seems there is more depth and quality in the screen. Not had chance to really test the battery yet, as only had 24-hours. But, I didn't top up last night and I have 12% battery left. I guess it will last longer, as a lot of power setting up and downloading updates and apps. My one let down are the cameras', in the sense that they stick out a lot. but guess it is needed to get so much thinner. Overall love it!

These are simply life changing let alone game changing. The technology for foldables is so good now that everyone will be doing it. One day with this phone in my pocket had me converted. As most of us use our phones more and more as a work horse, for things like email, movies, etc etc, having it turn into an 8 inch tablet is remarkable. Huge upgrade from my fold 3 ..finally got a decent camera although not as good as I hoped for with some shots slightly blurry hoping a future software upgrade will solve this. Lovley clear sharp screen ..but still cant display 1440p ..shame..very greatfull for a now usable sized front screen that I actually use now Thinner..lighter..bigger ..with a much less noticable fold..and the battery lasts a good time Very much enjoying the ai features and still learning. Im just worried that my main screen may start with a small spilt that will turn into a line which damages the screen. So im making sure I back up my important thing's. While I like the foldability, which is why I acquired it, I find the weight somewhat uncomfortable in use. I also feel it's quite vulnerable to damage, since the only protective cover I have been able to buy for it is made from very flimsy acrylic and hasn't a secure fit. I do appreciate the battery life, which is better than my S22 by far. My greatest gripe in use is when I have a code sent to me necessitating going to my email thumbnail, then not being able to return to the original page to insert the data. There may be a solution for this, but I can't find it. Still, early days.

It has all the great functionality of the Fold 4 barring the abilty to use a stylus. However, it is in a much smaller and lighter case which makes it easier to carry and has a brighter display and a better camera. It is like carrying a laptop in my pocket, because I can read documents and spreadsheets.

The fold is a cool piece of tech that allows me to seemlessly multitask and swap to a larger display for reading. The picture quality is great and the battery is pretty good considering the lower capacity. The design of the phone is clean, and feels solid in it's closed position, but once opened it turns into a delicate and vulnerable bit of tech that I often find myself worrying about. The camera bulge results in an awkward laying position and fits weirdly in the hands without it without a case, and the magnets located within often attract metallic dust no matter where it's stored, luckily I have yet to get any on the interior screen, but it is still a hassle to remove. The phone runs great but has obvious flaws in it's design pertaining to app compatibility not keeping up, and the finger print sensor could use a 'long press to activate' feature rather than being always on and resulting in me having to manually unlock because I skimmed the sensor too many times taking it out my pocket.

Everything on the Galaxy Fold 7 is great love. The multitasking love, the organisation. I also love the fact that I transferred from iPhone to the fold and everything has transferred including the music, which I was afraid of losing But apart from that Yeah, everything else about the G-fold7 software and everything very well cleaned.There's only one little problem that is the battery life even on heavy use it does drain it i can get a full day of barry life most days depending on how I use it.But on the heavy use it in between 8 to 9 hours that the down side i don't know how honor magic v5 done it with their fold with the battery life. But theirs seem to be longer use even on heavy, so that's the downside to the G-fold 7 if they can adopt honor battery life then it be a 100% best phone the other down side but I don't think it a big issue is the camera bump you lay it flat on the table and it wobbles. But the only other resolve around that is, if you put a heavy case on like I ve done so that bit I have resolv

I had a Galaxy Z Fold 5 before i got the 7, what a difference the design is sleeker & lighter, the AI features are amazing, picture quality seems brighter & true in detail, its easy to use as well, whats not to like about The Galaxy Z Fold 7, and no i dont work for Samsung or getting paid to say how good it is, its just a great phone and i would highly recommend it.

Brought the phone and have had it a about 3 weeks and within that short space of time one of the double screens have stopped working completely after showing stress lines off all colours , just from open and closing the phone

One very powerful and exceptional device. Many elements are perfect. Phenomenal camera and display. High performance and durability. Too early to evaluate battery fully but I do think the option to reduce the charge duration and reasoning behind it was extremely helpful. My only disappointment was that I pre-ordered my fold from 3 the network provider. I received a transparent case as an extra. Not very practical or stylish. It made my phone cheap and tacky. Certainly would have preferred other options. Possibly a better case or my own preference headphones. While the phone is very good value I don't think free headphones would have added that much to the costs. It took the shine off of this excellent product.

Hi, the phone is great, but there is one big problem I'm having. Facebook Marketplace doesn't scroll properly!! I've tried resetting the phone to factory default, without 'smart-swap'/restore from backup, so i am able to confirm that there's no other apps, apart from base apps + Facebook installed, but the laggy scrolling makes Facebook marketplace unusable. I've also tried, setting autoplay videos to off, changed wifi access points/turned wifi off with good wifi5/5 coverage or 5g data cell coverage being used, and tested and verified sufficient internet bandwidth with Ookla, I have, several times, cleared cache/deleted data/forced stop, reset the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the Facebook app. Normal Facebook scrolling works fine, its just the Marketplace scrolling that's awful!. I have run a screencap app to record the issue - please can you see what I'm experiencing and investigate??? The app worked fine on my Fold 5, which i have now traded in with your good selves, so i don't understand why newer model phone cannot cope!. Please, please, please help!!!!

Within less then a month pixel damage appeared along the fold together with a black line. I sent it away for a repair under warranty only to be told that it has external damage and that the warranty is void but it can be repaired for £304. This is a total scam as the device beside the fault with the screen is in a pristine condition.

I recently moved from iPhone, but im not having good experience with Samsung. First of all face recognition and finger print sensor is awful. Face never used to get recognised never has this issue in iphone. Then earphones doesn't get connected I had to contact customer service but they weren't so helpful. Screenshot moves the entire screen and takes forever to go back so many times just to take a screenshot. Keyboard not so smooth. And operating system is also not smooth. I regret moving and won't advice anyone moving to samsung now. Cs promised a call back after 4pm as I have a newborn but they rang me at 2pm.. I rang in the evening and cs promised to call back after 30 mins as she had to move desk or something. She never rang back. Proper awful. I might move back to iPhone soon as cs is the most important when having issues with phone. And phone its self is very poor performing. Sometimes it just boils my blood when im using it. Adding attchment proof how random things just pop up while using the phone and when I plus earphones Spotify comes up even if im using other apps. Super annoying.

Was great for the first 6 months. Then the inner screen broke and Samsung won't repair it, saying I'd closed something on the inside! Err, no, I don't treat a £1500 phone like a notebook.

The Battery life is not as good as previous phones, i have had samsung phones for about 9 years now, the camera is a good quality no issues with the picture, Display is great however the keyboard is weird and makes you put full stops in between different words when typing messages so you spend more time going back and deleting the full stops. Durability of the phone is good no issues. Performance of the phone is good but not as good as previous phones even thought slimmer, i have been thinking of moving to another android type and this might be the push i need to move.

After 3 years with a z fold 4 this was the logical upgrade for me. Things to note: the device does get hot under load especially if signal is low. It doesn't always seem to open flat and already after a month feels like it needs some persuasion, worrying. Plus points are the battery still lasts a day, the screens are excellent especially the new cover screen which really feels like a normal phone now. The cameras are excellent although I never had an issue with the z fold 4's cameras there is a noticeable lift in quality. I do miss the s pen but not a deal breaker.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
