this is a horrible monitor. i bought this new from best buy less than two years ago for my boyfriend. he shortly after stopped gaming so the monitor was used for less than a month or so. now, im trying to use the monitor for work purposes and the display screen simply won’t turn on. the blue light is on but screen is completely black. i’ve tried everything and honestly feel like i have just been scammed out of hundreds of dollars for a monitor that hasn’t even really been used. will not be purchasing samsung products in the future.

The good parts of this monitor are overwhelmed by its annoying qualities. First, it takes FOREVER to wake up. My mac wakes up quickly and I spend tons of time with a black screen as the monitor cycles through inputs multiple times.

DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. THE TEARING IS HORRIBLE. Bought this monitor around January this year and it is an absolute terrible piece of junk. To be fair I am using an Nvidia GPU which means I can't test FreeSync, but still, no matter what I do the screen tearing its always there. Honestly wish I never bought it. If you are still are going to buy it, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DO NOT BUY IT.

It's light, the base is sturdy, the screen/display is great. No dead pixels. Took me maybe 5 minutes from getting it out of the box, assembling the case, to setting it on my desk. Oh I almost forgot, the cables that it comes with are excellent quality.
I recommended this product.

Model: LS32CG512ENXZA Serial #: 5KU4H9JX404554 Every time I turn off the monitor, I hear the plastic crackling as it cools—this has been happening since day one, which already raised concerns about build quality. After only about a year of very light use—roughly 200 hours—the lower-left corner of the screen started leaking, and as shown in the image, the damage has continued to spread over time. What started as a small issue is now a clearly visible bright patch creeping into the display, making the monitor distracting to use. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially since this happened just after the warranty expired. What makes this worse is the comparison: my $100 Insignia monitor has been running for over 10 years without any color issues or physical defects. The difference in build quality and durability is honestly shocking. How about making products that actually match what they cost? Cutting corners on materials and skipping proper quality testing, then claiming failures like this are “normal,” is unacceptable—this is not normal. This kind of experience gives the impression of planned obsolescence. Issues like this—especially occurring just after the warranty period—raise serious concerns about product reliability and long-term durability. Situations like this are exactly why people start talking about potential class action lawsuits. Customers deserve better quality, better testing, and better accountability. Based on this experience, save your money and go somewhere else.
