We're sad to hear that the iPlayer app is signing you out. The iPlayer app requires data storage in order to remember you, so disabling the HbbTV and Do Not Track features will resolve the repeated sign-in prompts from this app, as the data tracking which the app requires will be active. The Standby Auto Tuning setting requires a regional selection because it automatically scans for new channels, and the TV needs to know which broadcasters to look for based on your location. Turning this automatic feature off means you won't be asked to confirm your region, as the TV will not need to find your local broadcasts every time. You can instead manually scan for channels at your leisure by going to Settings > Broadcasting > Expert Settings > Manual Scan. The Eco picture setting is designed to save energy by reducing brightness. You have many various modes to choose from to suit your environment and the lighting of your room, along with what you're watching. We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying the outstanding picture quality, which delivers a beautifully crisp and clean picture and rich colours. We're sorry to learn that you're missing having legacy connections like SCART sockets, as your modern TV favours newer digital ports. Not to worry, as there is a way around this in that you can use a SCART to HDMI Adapter. These are available from third-party retailers, and you can connect the SCART output from your old device to the adapter, and then use an HDMI cable to connect the adapter to one of the TV's HDMI ports. Once connected, you will need to select the corresponding HDMI or AV input source on the TV's menu. HDMI adapters are also available for the old yellow, red, and white RCA cables. You shouldn't need to manually install things such as your aerial, as your TV has Auto Tuning. Your TV will prompt you to connect your aerial cable to the ANT IN port, and once connected, you can select the Auto Program or Auto Tuning option in the Settings menu. The TV will then automatically scan for all available digital terrestrial and satellite channels in your area. Please note the following: - While 2025 Samsung TVs do not have built-in media players, if you wish to play files from your NAS/PC, we recommend using a USB drive or a dedicated streaming device that supports network sources. Alternatively, you could set up a Plex/Emby server on your network and use a compatible app or casting method to display on the TV. - To watch live or recorded content from an older Tablo DVR, you can use an external streaming device with the Tablo app. - Q-Symphony allows sound from TV speakers and compatible Samsung Q- or S-Series Soundbars simultaneously. The HW-S800D (Black) or HW-S801D (White) Soundbar would be a great addition to Samsung's S90F TV. With 3.1.2 Channel audio, built-in Wireless Dolby Atmos, and Adaptive Sound, your audio is analyzed in real time to pull out the most important audio based on the type of content. - While the Solar Cell Remote may appear minimal, many buttons offer multiple or long-press functions to help simplify the design without sacrificing functionality. For example: • Settings/Number/Color: Allows you to easily access your TV's Quick Settings and input channel numbers. • Volume rocker: Push up/down to adjust volume. Press and release quickly to mute. • Long-press Volume button: Hold for more than 1 second to open Accessibility Shortcuts. • RETURN button: Press to go back to the previous menu or screen. While watching TV, it takes you back to the previous channel. These functions allow for a more streamlined experience without adding extra buttons. Learn TV Remote is a feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote.
